If you ever get confused while roleplaying, come to this thread to see if it solves your question, first. If not, then go to the "Questions/Suggestions Box," thread.

Battling

User Image

There will be no levels in this guild. When you attack, generate either a one or a two. If it generates a one, the attack works! If it generates a two, then the attack fails. This eliminates all auto-hitting. Things like paralysis and burning won't matter. You can use revives. Ad healing will allow your Pokémon to stay out longer without it being a god-modding problem.

Traveling

User Image

Seriously, you shouldn't make it through a route in one post. It should take you at least two or three posts to get through a route or cave. Also, each time you post, generate a number (numbers will be specified on each route) to see if a Pokémon appears. Also, you can use moves like Surf if there's a river. Using Teleport will let you go to any of the towns that that routes lead to, as long as you have been to it. Dig will take you to whichever side of the cave from which you entered.

Items

User Image

You have access to your bag at any time. I'd recommend keeping a list of your items on your profile page, for safekeeping. Item prices are listed on the Pokémart/Pokémon Center (they're combined) thread. There's only gonna be one of these threads as a sticky, so you don't have to find the Pokémart/Center in each town. You can use items in battle and outside of battle.

Poké (Money)

User Image

Poké is the currency of the Pokémon World. You earn it by winning battles in the wild (200 Poké), and by winning trainer battles (500 Poké). The Amulet Coin item increases the Poké that you receive by twenty percent. You can't equip items to Pokémon, so just having it in your bag increases the amount.

Fossils

User Image

Fossils can be found by using the Explorer Kit (given to you by Professor Eucalyptus), or in the field if I specify that you can find a fossil there. Fossils can be revived by bring them to either the lab, or to a museum in each region. All fossil Pokémon are level 20.

PC Boxes

User Image

Another thing I'd recommend keeping a list of on your profile. The PC system is simple: To take Pokémon out, simply edit that Pokémon's name out of the deposited Pokémon part, and into the team part! Don't worry you'll get it, eventually.

Legendaries

User Image

If you think that you're up for the challenge, then you can choose to RP as a Legendary Pokémon instead of a Trainer. Now this is a big responsibility, so no slackers! The way that it works as a Legendary, is that you could make your very existence controversial based on only allowing humans to see you rarely, or you could wreck havoc, or allow yourself to be captured. For a Legendary to be caught, it and the trainer have to agree on it. Legendary Pokémon, because they're played by humans, can actually dodge the Master Ball, but Trainers won't lose it. It's always exciting to see an intense battle between trainers and legends, so if you could make that happen, thanks.

Capturing Pokémon

User Image

Ah yes, the old method of capturing. Here's how you capture: First, make sure you have a Pokéball. Then, have your trainer throw it. Generate a random number from 1-15, and if it lands on one of the correct numbers, then the Pokémon is captured! Pokéballs that are usually only made by Kurt are available in the Pokémart. If the conditions are met, such as fishing with a lure ball, the lure ball has the probability of working as an ultra ball. If you're not fishing, it's the equivalent of a Pokéball. Got it? Each Pokéball has a different capture rate, so pay attention!

Capture Rates!

Pokéball - 1, 4, 7, 11, 14

Great Ball - 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14

Ultra Ball - 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Safari Ball [Only available in Safari Zones] - 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14

Premier Ball (Only given to you if you purchase ten Pokéballs) - 1, 4, 7, 11, 14

Level Ball [catches Pokémon that are lower levels doesn't make a difference here, though) - 1, 4, 7, 11, 14

Lure Ball [makes it easier to capture Pokémon while fishing] - 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Moon Ball [ makes it easier to catch Pokémon that evolve with a Moonstone] - 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Friend Ball [as effective as a Pokéball, though it raises a Pokémon's friendship quicker. It's good for Riolu and Pichu.] - 1, 4, 7, 11, 14

Love Ball [Pokémon don't have genders in this guild.. So it's just gonna be like a Great Ball] - 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14

Heavy Ball [Works as well as an Ultra Ball is the Pokémon is heavy. I'll leave that up to you. If it's a light Pokémon, it's just like a regular Pokéball] -
1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Fast Ball [Raises capture rate if the Pokémon is fast] -
1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14

Sport Ball [Only available in the Johto Bug Catching Contest, held very Friday] - 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14

Repeat Ball [As effective as an Ultra ball when catching the same Pokémon] - 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Timer Ball [The more Pokéballs that you use before it, the more likely it is to work] 1 - 3 Pokéballs: 1, 4, 7, 11, 14
4 - 6 Pokéballs: 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14 7 and on: 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Nest Ball [If the Pokémon hasn't evolved, then it becomes better than a Great Ball, though worse than an Ultra Ball] - 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Net Ball [When catching Bug or Water type Pokémon, it has the power of an Ultra Ball] - 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Dive Ball [Catches Pokémon who live on the sea floor with the probability of a Great Ball] - 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Luxury Ball [Makes caught Pokémon grow friendlier to its trainer unless amount of time. Good for Riolu and Pichu. Most expensive, hence "Luxury"]
- 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14

Heal Ball [Heals the Pokémon when it's caught. Doesn't make a difference here, though] - 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14

Quick Ball [The less amount of Pokéballs that you use before it, the higher the chance it has of catching the Pokémon.]
1-3 :1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14 4-6: 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14
7 and on: 1, 4, 7, 11, 14

Dusk Ball [Has a higher chance of working if you're in a cave]
- 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14

Master Ball The Master Ball always works on wild Pokémon. If you try to catch legendary with it, the legendary can choose not to be captured, but the trainer won't lose the ball.

There are no Park Balls, Cherish Balls, or Dream Balls

Evolvling

User Image

Since we don't have any levels, evolving Pokémon will be kind of difficult. I would recommend having your Pokémon evolve after or during some intense battle with a gym leader or something. You'd have to check with the other trainer first, though. Stones will evolve your Pokémon immediately. Pokémon that evolve with high friendship should evolve well a ways into your journey (at least three gyms in!). If you catch a Pokémon with a luxury or friend ball, it can evolve in a shorter amount of time. Evolution stones can be found in the underground mines by using your explore kit. Pokémon who evolve when they learn certain moves will just need to use that move and battle and win.

Roleplaying as Pokémon

User Image

And you thought you were only limited to trainers. Nope, you also have the option of playing as a Pokémon. It's basically the same as a Legendary, except there isn't as much pressure of living up to the Legendary Name. You can choose to be captured and fight for him/her, go somewhere, mess up stuff, and leave, or just travel alongside the trainer without really being owned by them. Pokémon who are role-played by humans can speak English if they choose, or be telepathic.

Assistant Professors

User Image

Assistent Professors are Professor Eucalytptus' assistants. They monitor the various regions to make sure that all the rules are followed. These assistants are also crew members. Assisstent Professors should have at least one Pokémon which knows Teleport.
