Besart lazily took in his surroundings, it was a quiet day. His little minions, as he lovingly called them, were all busy today and that thought made him pout. Though he was older in body his mind was somewhat childish and he loved making others do his dirty work. Such as get him food, play with him, deal with bullies, etc. He stretched and yawned cutely while blinking his golden eyes. Maybe he could go down by the water and swim for a good part of the day.
Though, maybe he would scope out the newest members and see if he could recruit them orrrrrr just generally see what they are like. It seemed Pridelands were bustling with new members mostly from the rogue lands.

His time in the Pridelands so far had been amazing. The change of pace from so much time as a rogue was like day to night and he was rather enjoying himself. There was no shortage of old or new lions and lionesses to meet. Saba had done a spot of hunting first thing; it was nice to be doing his part while watching the sun rising. Now, he was taking it easy for the time being. Well, not sprawled out taking a nap easy, but going around, seeing what he could see. There was still morning left and he was wanting to make the most of it.
At one point, he had to slow his rambling, to let a couple of youngsters run around and past him, the smaller of the two weaving right between his front paws. Saba had chuckled and shooed them on their way to chase the imaginary prey they were hunting. Something grand and exciting from the sound of it. His meandering had him passing by a golden brown young male, still only just coming into his mane. "Good morning," Saba called as he drew nearer. "Nice day so far, isn't it?" It was for him anyway. He had nothing to complain about.

Besart blinked and eyed the other male with a hidden interest. Sizing him up for the future and such. He sure had an interesting pelt on him and from what Besart could guess he was once a Roguer. Well, an assumption that he was a roguer seeing as this was the first time he'd seen the tiger stripe male lion. "'ullo~" His voice had yet to deepen or crack. "Morning~ Yup! It's beautiful out. The perfect day for funstuff dotcha think?" He felt an impact on his butt and he turned around to see a familiar cub running away from him. "Calida! I wanna play with ya later!" Though she was younger he found himself enjoying playing leap frog and water games with her... and the other cubs.
He turned around to face the other male once more. "You new 'round here?" He wanted to confirm his spectulations. " I don't think I'd forget that kinda pelt." Besart tilted his head cutely and giggled.

Ah, a young fellow indeed from what the other's voice indicated. Oh well, he'd grow into that mane of his before too long. Saba smiled warmly to him. "Fun stuff? Heh, well sure! I suppose it is." His brows rose slightly at seeing the small cub go careening into her elder's rump. The ex-rouge stifled a little laugh and cleared his throat to cover himself. "Fun certainly seems to be what's on everyone's minds today."
The mention of his pelt caused the large hunter to look down at himself with his dark, yellow star flecked mane obscuring the front of his chest and the blue and pinkish stripes of his forelegs, his sides of his paws also bearing the star specks of his. Looking down over himself may have been silly, of course he knew what he looked like, but it was practically an automatic reaction. "Heh, yeah. I suppose I am a bit sight to see." Saba said, lifting his gaze to the giggling youngster. "I am new, yes. I've not been here all that long at all, but I've been greatly enjoying my time here thus far. My name is Saba. Who might you be?"

"Yup, you know running... laying in flowers... games... " He blinked cutely giving off a innocent and cute vibe. "Yah, I mean why be all moody and stuff when you don't have reason to be? Enjoy life I always say. Naw, not so much as a sight really. Its just different and interesting." Besart heard a buzzing noise before looking down. "EEE." It was a bug and he hated them, so he scooted over away from said bug that was trying to crawl near his front paw. "Gross-huh? Oh, I'm Besart. You can call me Bee if you want Saba."
Phew. The bug was gone and he was good. "I knew it~ Um you being new and all. Whatcha up too now? You busy?" He wandered closer to the adult male. "You come across anything interesting in the Pridelands?" Bee was curious to see if there was anything he had missed with his own exploring.

"Oh, I know fun. I know games." Saba began with a nodding of his head. "Being angry and brooding is a waste of energy. From what I've experienced I don't have the stamina for it. I have gotten worked up in the past, but never for very long." Hell, he had even been in a sour enough of a mood to full on fight with someone before. The fight hastened the cooling of his temper and he stopped brawling before his opponent was really done with him. He was finished though, and he went about his merry way. Well, not quite merry, but he went away in a marginally better mood than he had been with originally. "Different and interesting is good," Saba murmured aloud. The young male's exclamation startled him from his musing. "I don't mind bugs too much, but it's okay if you don't like them. And, it's nice to meet you, Bee." Kind of funny really. Having a nickname of an insect when he didn't care of them. Ah, well.
He chuckled. "No, I'm not busy right now. I did some hunting earlier, but I'm free for a good while. Why, want to hang out or something?" He didn't mind the company of youngsters. He may not have spent much time around them, but he enjoyed them nonetheless. "Anything interesting? Mmm. Nothing too major comes to mind. However I did notice that there are a bunch of baby fish swimming around in pond not too far from here. Darting about this way and that. Little bitty things." He nodded, cementing his statement.

"Right back atcha." Besart said in remarks to the 'nice meeting you'. "Sure, we can hangout. I've got nothin' to do right now as all my friends are busy." He pouted as he was reminded of the lack of friends aka minions. Though he perked right up at the mention of fish and water. His tail went straight up and his ears swiveled towards Saba. "Oooh!" He wiggled. "Let's go see'em! One time my sister tried catching a fish and it slapped her right in the face with its tail. " He laughed recalling his sisters pissed off expression. She had not been happy with the fishes sassy hit and empty stomach.
"You can lead the way~ I'll follow you and maybe if we're lucky it won't be too crowded. It's less fun when there is many lions around." He'd finally done it. Finally got off his furry a** and walked away from his family to start off something new. Of course it had been difficult, but worth it. He was a lone lion now making his way in the world today and going to give it everything he got! Now... to figure out where the hell he was...Besart looked at his companion before turning back to eye the pond, it was kinda hard to tell who was from the pridelands and who could be rogue. Busy. That was one word to describe the place. Bee almost missed him, but if it weren't for the awkwardness the male lion would have blended in. Rogue? Or just an awkward lion trying to get some social time in? Hmmm better go investigate.Turu looked around all the lions, it certainly was... was he even in rogues? These lions seemed a lot more closer to each other than those of the rogues. Maybe making that right turn wasn't... the best thing. Turu never did well with a huge pride gathering. He preferred quiet over noise. Small gatherings over large. Small gatherings you can actually get to know the other lion better. "Hey you!" Besart came closer not shy at all and spoke in his cubbish voice. "Hewwo! Don't recall ever seeing you around here at all! I think I would remember your cute colouring and markings!" Turu was jerked out of his thoughts. Though you couldn't tell by seeing it as there was no physical reaction. Turu's eyes widen when a gold lion came into his personal bubble... his bubble was larger than others. He wasn't really a social lion. Cu-cute? "Hm." Turu's stared blankly at the other male not knowing what to say or do. Besart paused in his bouncing to start at the chubbier lion. "Not really talkative huh? No worries! I'll be talkative for the both of us!" He could tell the other was impressed with this outcome. "My buddy and I came here to swim and/or fish! Is that what you are doing?" Great. "No." He stared at the other blankly already loosing interest in what the other had to say or tell him. "Just passing through." His family would be proud. That was the most he talked to anyone other than family of course. It took a lot to make Besart speechless but this lion... well it was obvious that he didnt want Besart to be around him so with a forced on smile he spoke, "I see well have fun doing what your doing. I'm just going to go-" Besart pointed in a random direction. "-over there somewhere." Turu raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Bye." Looking around Turu sighed and watched the other male lion walk away. Maybe stay here a few more minutes and enjoy the sun before moving on.. END.
