[KizingoZaa II]

Kizingo'zaa & Bahari'mtoto Seaside Metaplot!

Welcome to the Seaside Metaplot! This plot is open to members of the Kizingo'zaa, members and members of the Bahari'mtoto prides. This meta will be short and sweet but we want to encourage a partnership between these two lovely seaside prides and promote a healthy flow of new blood between the two prides and open ourselves up to future plots and community growth. Please read all the information before participating!

Rules:
xxx• Be respectful! We are aware that there's some drama due to the dramatic changes in both prides but the owners are doing their best to work with what they have and still make the prides open to everyone. If you don't have anything nice to say or constructive to add to the conversations or the plot, please keep your comments to yourself.
xxx• We will not dictate a posting order or time limit but we do ask that you use common sense when participating. We want to wrap up the plot within a month or two so we will be moving on if we see that activity is starting to drag.
xxx• Lions from the Bahari or the Kizi are able to participate. For this plot joining rogues will either be expecting mothers, mothers with young litters, or rogue cubs.
xxx• Understand that in-character actions will lead to in-character reactions. If you go out on a limb, prepare for the situation to adjust itself accordingly. If your character puts him or herself into a situation to get hurt, they may get hurt. Rest assured, this is not an overly-violent plot so death will not be a factor here.

Plot Over-View:
• A small group of scouting gypsies (sign up's for 3-5 Kizi members of the gypsy or thief rank) happen upon the Bahari pride and take note of a new litter of cubs born to them. They return to their home pride to gather a small group to infiltrate.
• The Kizi group steals into the Bahari's territory and steals a group of cubs (sign ups unlimited for Bahari cubs & juvies, 5-8 kizi thieves and gypsies.)
• The Bahari take notice of their stolen cubs and rally a rescue party to reclaim the cubs. (3-8 members sign up from the Bahari.)
• The Bahari are captured? Matched evenly at the border? Something. A mediator between the two groups proposes a truce to discuss a solution. (I can offer Leo to be mediator.)
• The Bahari and the Kizi agree to join forces and exchange cubs/arrange marriages to keep fresh blood running in both prides.

☼ Chapter 1 ☼

|| It was clear that there was some division among the pride members. Those who clung to the old ways, the belief in the muses, and what they had considered to be a gift in insanity had kept to themselves and seemed almost bitter in their new lives. Some would spend many hours looking into thin air, others had wandered off in search of their muses and afflictions, finding the changes far too much to tolerate any longer. The majority of those that had embraced the new way of life, the new goddess and her gift, and the new leaders appointed to the pride were those from the outside. An uneasy balance existed between the old and the new, one that could easily become a problem if things shifted in the wrong direction.

Shandor Riddle-mouth was not one to test fate or throw his lot into a gamble with odds as risky as this... rather than see the pride descend back into chaos and madness, as he perceived the state of the old ways, he met with the gypsy queen and devised a solution...

They needed more young ones to enter the new ways. Young minds to sculpt and shape to pave the way ahead for future generations. But promoting couples was a risky business as well... most of the gypsies had already created a litter or two. Even the queen had brought forth two fine litters for herself. They needed more blood for when the cubs were old enough to bring forth.

No more than five scouts would depart. The most stealthy, the most cunning, and the most loyal would be issued to the task. They were the eyes of the Gypsy king and queen, and they would find new, young blood to strengthen the new ways...

OOC ||
This is the building phase of the metaplot. Kizi members can assume that Shandor has gathered up a group of gypsies and thieves to discuss this matter in private. The Queen will be maintaining order and secrecy among the rest of the pride while arrangements are made.

• This is a small group operation! 3-5 Gypsies or Thieves will be sent to look for princes* to take into the pride.
• This small group will have a scouting rp within the Bahari. The length of their scouting will be determined by 'stealth' rolls within the Bahari's territory.
• We will need a group of Bahari members ( 3+ ) to make 'listening' checks for the gypsies.
• We need Bahari and rogue cubs to be offered for cub napping. These rogue cubs can be orphaned, belong to a mother in the area, etc.
• Rogue cubs will likely not be returned to their parents! If their mothers come looking for them, they will likely be made into princes as well. This may be a good plot arch if you want in the Kizi with a young member or a pregnant mother.
• Bahari cubs that are stolen have the option of remaining with the Kizi after the conclusion of the plot or being returned to their families.


* Check the ranks of the Kizi. A prince is a name given in mockery.

To Sign Up:
• We need 2-5 Kizi members of the Gypsy or Thief rank.
• We need cubs from the Bahari or from the rogue lands to be spotted. Rogues may be scooped up right away! This is up to the kizi players.
• We need 3+ Bahari members to be within the territory while the Kizi scouts are gathering information.

Elki is a laid back soul that talks a lot but says very little. He fancies himself a philosopher and a bard and serves his pride as a Mwani. Born to a large family, he has a strong sense of duty. He will be an owner 'npc' to help guide some of the plot along.
