It took a while, but amid all the worry she was putting herself through attempting to figure out what exactly was Endymion's purpose, Chronos finally remembered about Flora's excited text about being on the moon. After a conversation with Zue, a small pearl now hung from her senshi phone, and the guardian cat attempted not to purr too loudly as she hugged him in excitement.

However, as she watched the glow of the pearl grow brighter each day, Chronos grew somewhat nervous. She hardly remembered the Moon, although she was sure she should, with her uncle being Queen Serenity's husband and their ties with the Moon and all. Talking with Flora about her first trip there revealed that Queen Serenity's "ghost, mirage, illusion, whatever, but it was her!"; in the Handmaiden's words, had been there. And Chronos felt slightly guilty that she hadn't been there to see her, and that she hadn't been at the meeting when Chaos struck.

But she knew she had to go. And what better way to visit the moon than with a guide? And so, a message was sent to Allie, asking her cousin if she would show her around the Moon, which was agreed to without hesitation.

"So this is the Moon." The Princess of the Zodiacs breathed, as her eyes first rested upon the Moon Palace. While parts of it were in ruins, not unlike the Zodiac Castle, she could certainly imagine it to be quite grand in the past. Still, she had remembered how heartbreaking it had been to see her own home in ruins, and she squeezed Chibimoon's hand, confessing. "I wish I had been here. To see Aunt Serenity."

All in all Chibimoon wasn't sure at all how she felt about this whole situation. The Moon, the sacred home of her mother, her grandmother, all of those Serenities stretching back into who-knew-how-long was now basically open season for every senshi that could find their way here. It didn't matter if they respected what was, to her, the most sacred and important place in all of existence they were given entree anyway. Perhaps the only thing that had kept her from throwing a screaming tantrum in front of the collective when it had happened was the fact that the throne room, as well as the rooms the royal family had lived in, were utterly inaccessible during those three days.

It was a comfort to know that she wasn't going to arrive one day to find someone sitting on the Throne of the Moon Queens to find someone talking smack about them. Chibimoon probably could not have been held accountable for what she would have done had she actually witnessed such a thing; it would have been temporary insanity.

Serenade, however, was someone entirely different. Allie knew that when her cousin was curious it was because she had probably visited the place in the past, had the proper respect for what it was, and wasn't going to go around kicking what was left of the Moon Palace into utter ruins to get her jollies. The petite princess was more than happy to go with Chronos to the ruins, smiling as her mint-haired cousin understood precisely how she was feeling, hand squeezing back gratefully.

"You didn't really miss much, I think it was a uhm...video? Is that the word? I asked a few questions but she didn't even know me. I would think if she would talk to anyone she would talk to me but.." Pigtails swung as the senshi sighed a bit. "This is the Moon. I have only been a few times since I came to Destiny City but it doesn't ever seem to change. Just a sad ruin, but a safe one."

"Still." Chronos murmured softly. While other senshi had railed on her for holding onto the past, she chose to see it as cherishing her heritage and her ancestors. Having blanks in her memory was, admittedly, quite frustrating, even as her stance was to be patient with it. After all, Chronos had forgotten once, even twice. It always hurt to realize that she had forgotten something that had meant so much to her, even though she hadn't at all chosen to forget it.

She knew this, and yet she still blamed herself. In a way, it had been her fault, and the perfectionist within her disliked it.

"I'm glad that it's safe." The Surrounding was, admittedly, not a very safe place to begin with, and Chronos was still wary that Chaos would strike again. There was never knowing what might happen up there, never knowing when they had to run into battle. But here in the Moon, it felt safe. That, and she trusted Aunt Serenity and the power she held.

And yet, there was still a small sliver of fear that the Moon might be attacked by Chaos one day, and that was why Chronos had not said anything to Endymion about it. Endymion. Thinking about him released a small sigh from her lips, and Chronos glanced towards her cousin, wondering if she should say anything.

But there was a time when she had been sheltered and naive and unknowing, and that had brought to her downfall. And Chibimoon had fallen once, into the clutches of Wiseman. "I wasn't here... because your father had called me away from the meeting to apologize for his actions." And with that, Chronos found herself holding her breath, not knowing exactly what to expect.

Chibimoon had fallen twice, in reality, though that was not something that she would mention even if Chronos had mentioned her train of thought about Black Lady Serenity. Even now the danger of falling was always somewhat imminent due to the endless frustrations of being out of time, out of place, and being constantly harangued for something she could not have controlled if she'd tried. Yes it would have been rather convenient if she hadn't been born the Princess of Crystal Tokyo which in this time translated to being the Princess of the Moon that nobody seemed to want. If she could have given it up she would have but there were things you just didn't turn away from; being a senshi was one of them.

Mentioning her father at first didn't register until the word 'apologize' came into context. Lips moved silently for a moment while the pink-haired senshi first translated the word she knew into Japanese, came up with something that didn't at all fit in context of Perry Westerman, so that finally she tilted her head to ask. "Perry? Or did you mean that Kurma did something bad? Kurma does not tell me things because he doesn't think of me like Perry does but I am sorry if he did too." It never occurred to her to think of the man who claimed to be Endymion, who she had accepted as the reborn version of her father when he shouldn't have even been as old as he claimed to be even if he was a straight rebirth.

Why question? She wasn't supposed to exist either.

For a moment, Chronos could only stand and stare at Chibimoon, blinking in astonishment as her words registered. Oh. Her cousin had assumed that the father she was talking about was the father she had right now! Part of her felt relieved; it was a comfort to know that Perry was a good father figure. It was a sign that Coralie was perfectly happy in her life with Perry Westerman, and she was glad that it was so. Still, what was important was to clear up her confusion; she could not waver now.

The truth could very well hurt. How many times had she dreamed that Eon returned, but as a Prince on the side of Chaos?

The green haired Princess shook her head, taking another deep breath before she spoke. "No, I don't mean Perry or Kurma. I meant Endymion." There was a time when she would have referred to him as Prince Endymion, and an urge to say 'The man who claims that he is Endymion', but the latter was too tactless and the former too much for someone she did not trust. Could not trust. "And there is something strange about him, Chibi, there..." Chronos faltered slightly, before continuing. "There is a slight aura of Chaos about him. I cannot trust him because of it, and yet he doesn't seem to have connections to the Negaverse. I... don't understand it." A part of her hoped that Chibimoon would have an explanation, yet another part of her thought that was merely wishful thinking.
