He loves company that doesn't judge him for his massive fish tail and seems to enjoy bothering people who are shy, secluded, and dislike people.

Personal Skill|| Umi is an excellent swimmer and has the uncanny ability to become obnoxiously attached to people that show him even the tiniest sliver of kindness or hope for a friendship. This means that not even bullies are safe from his slightly stalkerish tendencies, in fact he seeks them out.
Besides those obvious abilities he has the power to morph water into shapes and if he practices and uses enough energy he can use it to form projectiles, though throwing them causes massive exhaustion since he has forgotten entirely how to use the ability.

Favorite Food|| Seaweed and small non-poisonous fish.

Favorite Drink|| Seaweed based drinks and ocean water.

Least Favorite Food|| What is least favorite? Food is the good! Well yes he dislikes poison.

Likes|| People who don't mind him following them, FRIENDS, learning about himself and what he forgot due to his accident.

Dislikes|| That he cannot remember all of his life and that he has no one he can turn to to help him remember what he is and where he belongs.

Strengths||
•Being happy or at least faking it.
•Staying there and being strong for the sake of his friends.

Weaknesses||
•Being told to give up on his quest to remember his past.

Fears||
•The thought of never being able to recover what past he had from before his accident.
•Losing his friends.

Old scars...

An old waterlogged journal written in with a special sort of ink has a permanent place on Umi's person. He has kept this log for years and had filled it to the brim with his adventures, some of which he would rather not explain.

His handwriting also leaves much to be desired, but these pages were the most legible.

Day 127
____________

The island was so much fun! Ive always wanted to be on land, and with a human was even better. He says he knows a lot about my people, also that he wants to learn more as well. He finds us fascinating. It's really too bad that I can't tell him more, I was so excited that I almost forgot that my memories are useless.

/ He seems to have inserted a crudely drawn picture of him an the human on the island together. The human looks to be speaking to Umi who is laying on the shore. /

Anyway, I think this has been the most fun that I have had in my whole life. At least what I can remember of it. I sure hope I'm not forgetting anything special, but whatever I can't remember must have been fun as well. Oh! He also told me to come back tomorrow, which will be easy since I'm right offshore. I really can't wait, this is the first human I have ever met so I have to be on super special behavior!

Day 128
____________

Today I told the human about my problem, he said that he felt bad for me, and maybe he can help me! He said that I might have gotten hit on the head because I just can't remember a darned glubbing thing! He also told me that I talked funny, but it's okay because he is teaching me to read and write, which is why I am writing in this book a lot better! He also laughed at the 'skribblez' in the first lots of pages, but i don't even know what that is.

/ Umi has inserted another picture of the two of them hanging around the island, this time with his book and the human teaching him how to write. /

Day 129
____________

The human has told me his name! It's

/ A whole chunk of the page seems to have been ripped out, leaving the only content of it and the day after in a small corner at the top. /

Day 131
____________
/ A majority of this page has been violently inked out and the name splotched and ripped in places /

/ Inked out / told me that the fishers come in every weekend, which is two days at the end of a human 'week' where humans take off from work and the fisherman come in to put their catch in big net things. They don't sound very nice. / Torn / has told me to stay away from them. He told me that they have big things called harpoons...

HARPOONS.

/ This word has been written over and over again, feverishly across the page and over the rest of the content. It has also been circled many times to a point where the page could almost no longer handle it. /

/ A few pages over without any more writing reveals a page that is pristine, void of mistakes and cleaner handwriting by far than the previous entry. /

Once upon a time there were two people. These people were from two other worlds completely...Entirely...

One day they met upon a shining shore and exchanged stories of their lives to each other. They watched the sun rise and set, and the stars float across the sky like diamond seashells in the ocean. One taught his songs to the other who cherished their melody like a long forgotten whisper that only he could hear, and the other told the first of his travels in the lonely sea and the warmth he felt when he learned of the others existence. Both faces lit like the twilight sky.

They were like two lanterns in the fog. One heart contained their feelings and one body contained their souls. Together they would do anything, could do anything.

The stranger awoke one day and traveled back to the island to see the one who taught him everything. But this day differed from the rest. Instead he was chased to the shore by a ship with sailors screaming and throwing nets and harpoons down at him. He had forgotten what days that he could not and should not return to the island. The stranger on human territory was chased to the shore where he could no longer move to get away, he only called for his lover, pleading for him to come and see him, to make the nightmare go away.

Soon the human returned to him, and his hope was renewed. The human helped him a few steps before stopping and letting him fall to the sand. The stranger who loved this human brushed the stinging sand from his eyes and opened them to a pool of blood. The human...His human...Was standing there with a sad look on his face, and a harpoon through his heart. With his hand outstretched to his lover he told him something that the stranger would never forget. Then he faltered and fell, cold and dead on the beach.

The stranger was struck with grief that filled his soul with mournful longing. His cries were so distorted sorrowful that the fisherman stopped their assault on him and watched from the water. Hours later when the day gave way to twilight and he held the body in his arms, he allowed a wretched song to escape his lips. Everyday on that day for the next few years the stranger returned to the cliff where his love was buried and he allowed this song to invade his throat once more.

It is rumored that he still returns to this day.

/ The next pages continue on about his adventure in the ocean, never once mentioning the past few pages. /
