The sun had set an hour ago yet Lómë was still roaming the pathways. The night was always so lovely. A smile graced her features as she began to pass by the grave yard. She said a silent prayer for all the mearhs that inhabited that place.

As if hearing her prayer a figure at the edge of the graveyard rose up. With the moon nearly full and shining already brightly down on it was clear that the figure was female and the moon glinted off some jewelry that was place in many places on the young mare. She turned and seeing someone walking by the figure froze for a moment then smiled and gave a nod. In a gentle voice she called out, "Good evening."
Vera had a odd habit of wandering around graveyards. If she was not at home the first place one would look for her would be at a graveyard. She loved to see what Mearh had left behind. Grave stones could be so beautiful and romantic. She could not understand why most did not see it. Though this did not mean she was fascinated with death. But she found beauty in what remained afterwards.

Lómë paused hearing a voice come from the graveyard. She looked over to see a young mare. She smiled lightly, "Good evening." She moved a bit farther down the path and to the entrance. She made her way back to the female and smiled. "What brings you here so late?"

Vera watched the other female heading away from her. She gave a bit of a shrug but then smiles a bit as she entered into the grave yard. "Well I always love to come as see the graves. So maybe Meah have so much to say about those who have passed on. It always fascinates me. What is a lovely mare like yourself doing out so late?"

Lómë chuckled lightly, "Yes, the memories of the dead are quite fascinating. I am merely out for a stroll, myself."

Vera looked the other mare over. It was a bit hard to see even with the full moon up in the sky but she could see odd patterns on the female's body. They looked too syptrical to be birth marks. So could it possibly be tattoos? How nice! Vera love looking at other's tattoos though she did not have any herself. "Most mares I know would try avoiding walking by a graveyard at night. So I am a little surprised at your choice of walking paths." She said softly setting herself back down on a small blanket she had laid out next to a grave, "Care to join me for a drink?"

"I don't really pay attention to the path I take. I'll always find my way back home." Lome smiled lightly. "That shouldn't be a problem." She moved over to the blanket and sat down.

Vera gave a smile and pulled out a second glass from the small basket that was sitting a side of the blanket. She filled it with a cool fruity punch. "Here you are miss. Well it is nice that you can always find your way home. That is a good talent to have. I can find my way to almost ever graveyard around here. Though I do sometimes get a bit lost when trying to get home." she said with a laugh. "Oh my name is Vera by the way.

"Thank you, Vera. So you enjoy graveyards, do you? That is fairly interesting I think." She drank a bit of the punch and looked at the stars. "Personally I enjoy the stars more than the graveyard..."

Vera smiled a bit, "Yes I do enjoy them. It is interesting. Most think I am odd for this. But I do find them fascinating. There are so many wonderful think that most people seem to ignore or look over. It is sad when you think about how much a Mearh may put into the last words they leave a loved one." He turned and look up at the sky, "Oh the stars huh? I can never see the images in him. I really wish I could."

"Indeed some might think it strange, but each mearh has their own quirks to make them an individual. As for the stars I've always thought that they were the lights of past mearhs souls. However, that's just one of my own little fancies."

Vera smiled and gave a bit of a nod looking up at the starts with a bit more wonder. "Oh wow I never even thought about that." she smiled, "I think now I might have even more respect for the stars now. Such a wonderful thought. It is like the best grave and memory of a fallen Mearh ever!"

Lome chuckled lightly and sighed, "I'm glad you think so. To be honest, the main reason I take my walks now is because since my children have grown up I don't know what to do with myself."

The mention of offspring brought Vera's eyes down to the other mare. "Oh you have children? You seem so young I am a bit surprised. But yes I would image that if you had them and they were all grown up it would be a bit hard to find something to do. You spend so much time with them trying to help them grow up you almost forget all of the things you used to love doing. But walking is a healthy past time."

Lome laughed as she took another drink of the punch. "I'm flattered Vera. But yes, I have three grown children: Aranel, Triel and Torm. Pheonix was so happy when they were born. What about you; any siblings?"
