It had been quite some time since he was looking for a land to call his own. The stallion had yet to forget his promise made to the mare from so long ago. But...would she remember him? Would she have remembered his promise? It had been quite a while since he left that land...could they have moved? Could her father had married her off to someone else? His body grew heavy at the thought that it was possibly too late for him. That he had given his chance away. However, Txon'aw refused to believe that there wasn't something out there for him. He looked toward the sky but his heart and soul were yearning and reaching toward Eywa for guidance.
To clear his mind, he had decided to take a walk. A very long walk it seemed for he started quite late in the day and the twilight hour was rolling in on him. The sky was being painted with the hues of night and soon enough he would have disappeared into the element he knew to call home. His tail flicked idly, nostrils flared as he came to a river that cut through the plains. He eyed the area around him before lowing her snout to the cool waters to drink his fill. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. How could he deal with a task that was set before him? Was this an impossible venture to begin with? His time away from Lormokri was making him wonder if it was really to be... Again he found himself closing his eyes praying for some sort of sign from Eywa that she would bring him guidance in her own unique way.

Zaira had just left the Equi'Amiticia herd. It was nice to have gotten to spend some time with Schuyler again, thought her friend was often busy dealing with her children. It was still hard to believe that both of her childhood friends had found mates and started the next chapter of their lives. "I wonder if I will ever meet my Prince Charming like Schuyler did..." She asked herself. The mare knew that it was dumb to talk to herself like that but she often got so lonely she couldn't help it. Feeling lost, Zai didn't know where to go. She had no one to go to, no one waiting for her. Thoughts returned to Kai, one of the only friends she had made other than her two from her childhood. He was one of the reasons she cut her trip with the herd short. With a sigh, she picked a direction at random to start off. What did it matter which way she went? Her short mane fluttered with the slight breeze as she came to a little grove of trees. She longed to go through it, but it was starting to get dark and Zaira didn't want to get lost in there at night. So instead she skirted around it, following the treeline on her left, she noticed a river to the right. "I guess I could always follow a river...at least I know I would have a reliable source of water..."

Txon'aw couldn't help but feel a little empty. He had prayed and prayed and meditated and of course prayed, but...he felt nothing. There was something he was missing and it made him unsure of what and where the next direction should take him...His ears flicked as he felt a breeze flow against him down the river where it seemed a forested area started. His head tilted as he squinted to get a better look. His head turned toward the sky for a moment before he gave a mental shrug and went forward toward the trees. He wasn't really going anywhere in particular save for where the wind seemed to be pushing him.
It didn't take long for his brown eyes to spot the feminine form of a mare. He had seen enough in his day to differentiate the forms of males and females...but what came next surprised him: her coloration and pattern reminded him of the mare who had claimed his heart. Sure she was no na'vi, but...he couldn't help but feel a sort of kinship to her. He slowed down a moment taking in a breath and wondering if this what Eywa's sign for him was. Was this mare the answer to his troubled questions and mind? Flicking his ears forward, he eased himself within range giving a loud snort and gentle bray to announce himself. "Hail tuté [woman]." His voice was gentle with greeting, his tone as non threatening as possible. "Where do you go this night?" He stopped a few feet away waiting for her to make the rest of the way, his heart beating with slight anticipation. He hadn't felt this way in a while...and the nervousness made him feel alive for once since his journey.

Had the male not spoken, Zaira would have ran straight into him. But the voice aroused her from her reveries as she skid to a stop. The stallion almost blended in to the dark night, his colors almost similar to her own. He called her some weird name...but she shrugged it off mentally. The two were only a few feet away now and Zaira tilted her head slightly. "I go where ever my feet take me. I don't have any destination because I don't have anywhere to go." She flicked her tail as she examined him closer. His little silver spots were dazzling, almost making her want to sit there and just stare, but she knew that wouldn't be polite. "I'm Zaira, might I ask your name?" She asked politely.
[[So I must admit that I'm a little intimidated to RP with you. XD so sorry if my posts aren't very long or good. >.< lol]]

He noticed her expression was one of slight surprise as if she had been awoken from a nap. He wondered if this mare was an uniltìranyu [dreamwalker] as he studied her a little more closely. Her voice caught him off guard as he spoke, his body jumping a little in reaction but he managed to catch her answer. Txon'aw's ears flicked forward with a piqued interest. "You speak with a wisdom we would consider only known to Eywa. Your answer holds more answer and promise than any other you could possibly think. Where do you come from then on this night?" He offered her a kind smile flicking his tail gently as he felt the wind caress his cheek and face once more before it seemed to disappear as quickly as it came. This was where he was meant to go...
He noticed her eyes were looking over his frame. Immediately he felt strangely unconscious as if he was even a freak among those who were not na'vi. He took in a breath gathering his courage to brush off her stare even though it gnawed at his mind much like a eltungawng [brainworm]. The stallion flared his nostrils for a moment pawing at the ground more out of habit than anything else, "I am Txon'aw. In your tongue, it means 'Night One'. Does your name have a meaning, Zaira?" He tilted his head much like a curious bird as he took a small step forward as if to get a better look at her, gold gaze meeting blue hues of her eyes.
[[I don't mean to be intimidating whee Just take your time and post what you can. No apologies needed at all. <3]]

Zaira wondered what he could be talking about with this 'Eywa' stuff and didn't know her answer was much more complicated than she thought. Now, she wasn't dim-witted, she just didn't understand. "I was visiting and old friend and her family. I stayed with them for awhile, I think she pities me because I have no one..." She said sadly. The mare didn't even realize she was staring until she noticed his discomfort. "I have been told that my name could mean 'Princess' or 'Blooming Flower', but I have never found either appropriate or true." Meeting his gaze, her face took on a quirky look. "I must admit, I'm afraid that if you had not spoken, I would have walked straight into you." She looked away sheepishly.

Txon'aw gave a nod in understanding shaking his neck a little, his hair and braid moving in sync, muscles stirring and shaking causing his pelt to move noticeably enough. "That must have been a relaxing journey...." At the last part, his head perked a little flicking his ear forward, the other leaning against his head before he straightened both of them in a relaxed position. "Being alone...isn't necessarily a burden. But to have a yawne [beloved]..." He stared at her for a moment slightly mesmerized by her in the light before shaking his head to clear his mind. "Unless of course you're talking about something completely different such as a friend or family...but still there is something to not being alone." Txon'aw stretched his frame a little turning to the river leaning to take a drink. However, his ears were quite poised on her and her voice, flicking his tail idly. He raised his head to return his full attention on her taking in her image. "Maybe you think so...but I am sure there are those who believe that you are indeed a Princess Syulang [flower]." Txon'aw couldn't help but laugh a little at what she said next feeling a sense of pride flow through him. "Well..I have been known to blend into my namesake, but I didn't know it would do me the favor of running into such a lor swirä [beautiful creature]. Maybe I should have kept quiet." Txon'aw flashed her a wink before taking another drink of water to calm his nerves. On the inside he was screaming with uncertainty. Eywa must have been guiding his mind and his words for surely he would have tripped over himself by now. Why was she so easy to talk to? Was it because she was an outsider? Or was it because there was something more that he still wasn't seeing?

"I have friends, childhood friends, but still friends. I..don't remember anything of my family. And I don't have any one special...My friend is lifemated to a very...special stallion. They have children too. And I think thats why." Zaira smiled at his wink. He sure was a charmer. "I suppose either way, we would have met. Though this way is possilby a little less painful for the both of us." A small laugh escaped her mouth. "I hope I am not keeping you from something?" She inquired politely but also giving him the option of not answering the slight question.

[[If you don't feel like continuing, that's cool but I figure I'd reply <3.]] His heart was gladdened that she had someone, but it seemed as though it wasn't the type of someone she wanted. He too yearned for his beloved, but he began to wonder why Eywa sent him this way. Was she trying to tell him something? His brown eyes stared her over for a moment, ears flicking forward as his mind seemed to be a whirlwind of emotions. "Your friend is lucky. She found her vitra muntxatu [soul spouse/mate]. Not everyone can be so lucky..." His gaze grew distant as he thought about his beloved, how far away she was. Txon'aw gave a brief grunt looking back toward her. "What do you mean less painful? Has our meeting been painful to you?" His brow furrowed immediately. That was the last thing on the stallion's mind - to cause her discomfort. She was too beautiful of a creature for him to do that to. But then she laughed if only a little one. Maybe he could do something to make her feel better. At her question, he shook his head. "No. Only syay [fate] has brought me to this place.." To you, dear Syulang... The stallion thought in his mind. "What of you? Do I keep you from something important?" His eyes held a sense of interest as he watched her carefully. My she was stunning! Even more so than Lormokri....

"Only painful in the sense that I would not have physically ran into you. Our meeting has most certainly not been painful to me, if anything, it has been very pleasant. I have enjoyed speaking with you, it's probably the most content I've felt in awhile." The fact that he though himself to be paining her caused her heart to squeeze. This stallion had no reason at all to care about her feelings and she didn't him upset on her account. "I have nothing planned for well, ever." Zaira said somewhat bluntly but full of honesty. She had nothing to do and nowhere to go so this interaction with Txon'aw was something she would cherish. It was a chance meeting, almost like what he had said it to be, fate. But why would fate bring her to this place, to him? Trying to keep the puzzlement off her face while she pondered this, Zai turned to him. "Do you know this area?"((I would like to continue. ^.^ Just at the time, my muse wasn't really cooperating with me and now it seems like it might. I think these two are adorable. Lol))

[[Took my muse forever to come back too. Then of course my 'puter about died. XP Yeah they are kinda cute together heart ]] Txon'aw felt his heart skip a beat at the reassurance. She was indeed a lovely mare and he would have hated to miss this chance at meeting her. His ears perked up as he couldn't help but give a smirk and a chuckle. "I am glad I could give you this feeling, tuté [woman]. I hope our encounters give you many more pleasant feelings. Surely Eywa was guiding his words again! He felt so comfortable, so strangely smooth around this mare. What was with him tonight? His face scowled a little as her voice went back to a business tone. He enjoyed her speaking in her gentle voice, like waves crashing against the land. At her question, he shook his head. "No...but suppose we could travel it together if you are willing, lor Syulang?" The stallion offered a kind gaze and tilted his head toward the other side of the river, a direction they both had yet to explore. He wondered if maybe she was what he needed to re-inspire his drive in life.

"I would really like that Txon'aw." Zaira said with a smile. She was directed by his gaze across the river. What could be over there? What kind of azrein lay beyond the flowing water? A realization popped into her mind, if she traveled with Txon'aw, she wouldn't really have to worry about anything. She didn't think he was a threat to her, he just didn't give off those feelings. Zai also thought, from his gentlemanly-ness so far, he might protect her from harm, not that she needed protection. But it was nice to have. Zaira did have a gentle soul, a small fire inside that flared when needed, and she didn't want to think about having to hurt another being. There were few circumstances in which she would, and none of them were good.

His voice seemed to light up his world every time she spoke. His ears perked forward with interest as he turned back to face her giving a bit of a grin. "As would I, Zaira." The stallion stretched and gave a snort as he then turned and with a single bound leaped over the river with not even a running start. He landed a little roughly on the grass however, turning so that his side was facing her. Txon'aw shook his head and snorted over toward Zaira, a glint in his eye urging her to come across the river and join him. The night was still young and so were they. He intended on making the most of his time with her.

A grin appeared on the mare's face as he crossed the river in one jump, without even a running start. When he turned around to grin at her, it was almost like he was challenging her. She could do it, couldn't she? Her ears flicked forward, tail swishing in anticipation. Zaira had been a little farther from the river so she took two steps to close that distance before leaping into the air. Zai too cleared the river in one jump and she raced on. "Are you coming?" She teased over her shoulder, not stopping to wait for him.

Txon'aw was to say the least a little surprised and very impressed. He hadn't expected her to make it, but she not only cleared it but ran as soon as she landed, something he still had trouble doing. The stallion reared up and gave a cry "Nìlun tìyawn! [Of course love!]" and dashed after her, his muscles moving underneath his pelt making it look as if the sky itself was racing. He hadn't been this excited in forever and his body hadn't had this much of a challenge last he remembered. His hooves kicked up grasses as he snorted, his chest heaving as he raced in an attempt to catch up to the surprisingly quick mare. Was he that much out of shape? "Oe n«ìly»ga! [I will have you soon!]" The stallion grew more excited as his thick accent overcame him. Zaira probably had no idea what he was talking about, but in his mind he hoped he was not threatening her in any way. Besides, if they spent any time together, he would teach her his language if she was willing to have him around that long.
