[Squad 2] - [Unseated]
Training, the most essential part of Honō's day in Squad 2, is what was going on at this moment. Without it, he could never achieve his goals and become like his father. Honō wanted to join the Stealth Force and gain enough power to at least fight for what he sees is right. Once he has obtained such a thing, then he would be ready to move on with life, or rather his afterlife. [ 1/10 ]
This training was a practice to be ready to begin using Shunpo, a necessary technique for any Shinigami to master. There were many aspects for Honō to master if he were to ever get anywhere with this technique. First and foremost, Honō would need to refine his speed and ability to move with agility. Next, he would have to fine-tune his ability to move large distances with fewer steps. Both of these aspects made up the foundation of Shunpo. [ 2/10 ]
The beginning of the training would be simple. In order for Honō to handle the speed training for the Shunpo, he'd need to build endurance and speed together. Running laps would be a very simple way to do this. Honō would simply run from one point to the next at that training grounds. There was a nice, open area to do this with a couple tree outside to use. [ 3/10 ]
With the endurance training going successfully, Honō could feel his body strengthening just a bit. This brought him satisfaction in himself and he felt empower to push himself further. Honō would push his body to increase speed so that he would glide through the air even faster as he ran from one point to the next. [ 4/10 ]
As the endurance and speed training came to a close, Honō could feel his body growing weary from exhaustion. He didn't have the highest level of spiritual energy and he lacked in skills that didn't directly involve swordplay and using his zanpakuto. Even a simple exercise such as running laps could grow difficult if he kept at it for too long. After debating a plan of action, Honō came to a decision that a short rest was needed to recover. Luckily, Honō had packed himself a meal just for this. He hadn't eaten much today and his strength and stamina seemed to be dwindling faster than normally. [ 5/10 ]
Honō ate, rested, and then stretched a bit. He had to make sure his body was well enough prepared for the next part of his training. It wouldn't take too much longer to get this training down, but it was always best to be in good condition when getting ready to train oneself. At least, that's what Honō was always taught by his father, whom happened to be a former member of this squad and was part of the stealth force. [ 6/10 ]

[Squad 2] - [Unseated]
"This isn't so bad.... I just have to pace myself a bit more and mind my steps. If I can pull that off, then this should be over before I know it." Honō would walk out to the center of the training area and stand there for a moment or so. He had to prepare himself to perform the agility training for learning Shunpo. [ 7/10 ]
With a large burst of speed, Honō snapped into action with a full-speed sprint towards one side of the training field. His movement was almost at high enough speed to not be seen at all, but speed wasn't his goal right now. When he would reach the side he dashed towards, he'd quickly reverse and perm the same motion back towards the other side. This time, however, he would increase speed drastically and zig-zag back and forth to focus on his agility so that he'd effectively be able to use this technique in practice. [ 8/10 ]
Once he reached the other side, he turned back around and would focus on the same motion and pattern, but he would increase the distance between each step. After adjusting this factor, he'd increase speed even more by pushing his physical capabilities to their absolute limits. With this movement, Honō would perfect his foundation in Shunpo by successfully making his movements nearly invisible. Only slight traces of his movement could be seen as he body flickered in and out of view all around the training area. [ 9/10 ]
Honō, after completing this training, would drop to a knee once he stopped moving. He had just used a great deal of his energy with that last part of his training and would soon ned a great deal of rest and nourishment to recover his full strength for further training. Maybe next time, he'd get to use his Shunpo skills in combat against one of his comrades in a sparring match. [ 10/10 ]
For now, Honō didn't even have enough energy to head over to his quarter for rest. He just let his body fall to the ground so that he could feel the cool ground against his face. It was nice, cool, and refreshing, just how he like it. After a moment, Honō would roll over onto his back and watch the clouds slowly glide across the sky above him as he pulled a pack of gum out of his robes. He pulled out a stick and then proceeded to unwrap it. He tossed the gun stick into his mouth and began chewing, then would stash away his treat for later consumption. He'd blow a small bubble and then let it pop so that he could suck the gum back in and repeat.
This would go on for about twenty minutes before he recovered enough strength to at least get up and move. He was going to go pay a little visit to an old friend of his in the compound of Squad 1. [ Exit ]
