Amphi, after intensive cuddles with her boilfriend Roch and her best friend Danny, had finally decided that staying in her room was a bit stifling. Her aquarium felt stuffy, stifling....constricting. It was safe, yes that was true...but at the same time, she needed to face her fears.
She had her moment of weakness....and now it was time for her to move on and become stronger. She wouldn't let what happened to her, happen again.
However, that was all well and nice sentiment...even brave. If she could pull it off. She was detrimened...yes. But underneath all that was a fear so deep that it surfaced by stealing her voice and keeping it locked in a box so tight, she didn't even fathom it.
Heading from class to class, the mermaid squinted her eyes as she noticed a...vampire? with a fancy suit and shoes and...Oh. Oh she knew that vampire.
Nope...Nope..Just nope to him. She would walk by and hope he didn't see her. Yep. Good idea.

And there was Lou in all his vampiric glory, shuffling down the hallway as if he owned it. The boil always seemed to have a swagger about him, even when everyone else looked downright miserable. Jeez, what was up with these people? Even the dead were more lively than this. He would know, obviously.
His crazy eyes scanned what he considered his audience for anyone he could pick out and pick on. A daily routine that could not be skipped. Much too important. Sort of like breathing for the living. Oh, and would you look at that?
In an ironic twist of fate, Lou's eyes met Amphi's as she managed to spot him, his eyebrows waggling when he thought she was lookin' him over. Goodie goodie gumdrops, it was Xiu's little friend.
The boil's long legs took large strides over to the ghoul, aiming to drape an arm around her shoulders before she could run away. "I thought I smelled something fishy around here." He cooed. "Where's your trouser snake friend? Or even better, where's hot lips?" He was referring to Xiu, but really the nicknames were anyone's guess.

Yes, Amphi thought, there was Lou.
No she was not looking him over in any way besides to avoid eye contact in anyway possible. Obviously it didn't work out as the vampire came sauntering over to her, wrapping his arm around her.
Barring her escape. This fish was hooked, line and sunk now.
She pursued her lips as she looked up at the hand as they came to a stop and narrowed her eyes, brushing it off (or trying to for better term of words). She could only assume trouser snake meant Thanatos, and Thana was busy...probably. As for hot lips well....she had no jack what he was talking about. She was friend with Danny, maybe he meant her. Since she was a fire demon = hot. And she had lips....okay maybe it was Danny. She would never apply that term to Xiu though.
His questions were met with a silent stare, one arched eyebrow and tilt of her head as if to say, 'Sorry, but I have NO IDEA WHAT YOUR ASKING ME.'

Lou's cold hands enjoyed the warmth of Amphi's skin... For the short time it was able to stay there. "Aw, c'mon. Don't be like that clammy boobs." The nicknames would never get better. They would only get worse.
This time, the boil's arm wrapped around her waist. Personal space? What was that? Wishful thinking when you were around a certain vampire, that's what. "It's rude to stare, you know. I don't mind, though. I could always make the view a little better for you." The boil's free hand reached up to the first button of his suit, having the art of undressing down to a science as he snapped his fingers with the button and fabric inbetween. Classy.
"I just want to know where Xiu is." sure, he'd clarify for once since the nicknames appeared to escape her. "I haven't seen her in so long. Plus... I still have her shoes." teehee.

She frowned as he gave her another nickname, staring down at her seashell rack and then back at him. What was with everyone and her shell boobs. She didn't understand, all mermaids had them! or most did.
She was relieved as his hand dropped from her shoulders, but stiffened as she felt it around her waist instead. Her hand immediately came up to shove the boil's face away.
Oh jack Lou, she wasn't staring at you! She just couldn't tell you to stop because jackdammit, her voice was not working! DAMN YOU VOICE FOR NOT WORKING.
And then buttons were popping and she was shaking her head no, and mouthing no, like really mouthing no. As in no Lou, Np. She furiously reached up and buttoned all the ones he had undid and poked him in the chest. 'NO'.
Her ear fins perked though at the mention of Xiu and she scowled. She hadn't seen the baku in a while either. Her friend was busy too. She had busy friends okay. Very busy important friends. Especially Xiu...who didn't need to see Lou. Cause she was busy.
Wait...why did he have Xiu's shoes?

This was fun. Lou liked this game. She may not have been answering but the reactions were pretty satisfying in and of themselves.
As Amphi worked to furiously button his suit back up, Lou pulled out his eyephone, held it up above their heads, raised an eyebrow, and snapped the shot of the mermaid ghoul with her hands on his buttons. Can you say... Blackmail? Oh wait, apparently she couldn't. Ha hah!
"What's wrong? Catfish got your tongue? Do you really not like talking to me that much?" The boil's lip quivered in a fake pout, keeping hands to himself... For now. "You know. If you don't say anything to me I'm going to take that as consent to do whatever the hell I want." Most ghouls started talking after he said that.

Amphi had gotten the last button almost in when she looked up just in time for the click of a phone. She stared at Lou's camera....made a horrific face of doom and reached for it.
The vampire was lucky he was much taller then the mermaid....and he had a picture of her. She didn't want him to have a picture of her. Who knows what he did with pictures of ghouls. In fact, she read in the book Roch gave her, that boils could use books and pictures to help stimulate them.
She was so focused on the phone that she missed the last part of what he said and then proceeded to glare at him. Her hand flew from him to her to the phone to over her head, simple gestures that ended with an extremely rude one at Lou.
Her hands cocked on her hips as she stared at him again, her chin defiantly raised as if him to demand the phone picture be destroyed.

"Oooooohohoho! You're a feisty one." The boil declared as his phone was immediately held at the highest point the boil could reach. No real need to stand on his tiptoes here.
To say Lou was oblivious wasn't giving him enough credit. He knew something had to be up, but as for what was very much beyond him. Maybe she'd lost a bet and wasn't allowed to speak for so long. Maybe she'd taken a vow of silence. Maybe she was just trying to be a b***h. Either way, it was kinda cute.
"Well at least I know what that means." The boil grinned, his elongated pearly white fangs giving a little glisten in the light. "I tell you what." That was never good. NEVER GOOD.
The boil turned on his heel and immediately stuffed the phone somewhere on his person, then right back around. "If you find the phone, you can delete the picture. If not... It may or may not be posted around on groanspring." Oh Lou, you scoundrel.

If she couldn't tell that Lou was catching on to her misfortune of not being able to talk, she really didn't know. Especially since he just went ahead and did whatever he wanted.
And yes she was fiesty. That picture...It could upset Roch and she never wanted that for her boilfriend!
Again, glad to know he was catching on to her gestures. It was followed by another one as he turned around. Hands dropping again as she sighed with discontent. This taught her to leave her room, she'd never do it again. EVER. NOT EVEN IF THERE WAS A FIRE. (Stepbrothers)
Her eyes narrowed to small slits when he turned around again, tapping her foot impatiently as he explained what he had done. No...NO...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The phone was ON HIM!?!? She clenched her fist and shook them angerily and then took a deep breath.
Calming down to smile at him, her small baby fangs gleaming much like that look in her eye. Okay Lou, if you wanted to play like that well.....She moved seductively over and then....brushing her hand over his stomach pockets...
Who are we kidding, Amphi was red as a beet as she looked around, making sure they weren't attracting attention, or anything and then quickly grabbed his jacket, awkwardly smoothing hands in it and around it. Nothing...She started on his vest next....staring at the buttons that she had just did up and gave a frustrated silent growl. That left his pants and well...
There were some things in a mermaids life that she just didn't go poking around in.
Her lip wibbled as she bit it again. Now what did she do!!?? She reached up and tugged his tie down so that he was eye level with her. Pulled out her phone and then typed the message so it appeared on the screen. Quote: Please give me your phone so I can delete the picture...

Oh Jack. Oh holy mother of Jack. His stupid plan had actually worked. Had he expected it to work? No, he expected her to walk away all pissed off like most ghouls did. This was... Oh man. He was brilliant. He had to be the smartest undead creature in this entire school. No! In all of Halloween!
The whole time Amphi searched Lou's face was something to the effect of:
And then she stopped at his pants. Well s**t, that figured. The place where it actually was. "No searching my pants then? You know there's many more fun things hiding in those pockets." The boil mused, rubbing his chin as she yanked his tie down. Good thing he didn't have to breathe. Ah. Phone screen. So she WAS mute then.
"Please?" His eyebrow raised as his spiral eyes looked her face over. "Oh no my dear. Please only works for parents and prayers. What are you willing to offer me to see that picture gone?"

It was a good thing that Amphi didn't look up to see Lou's face otherwise she would've high tailed to Los Muertes, and become a nun in the desert. That's saying something for the Mermaid.
She shook her head at his question, no way in jack would she search his pants!!! That was...and it had that...and she wasn't ready for that...SHE HADN'T EVEN GOT THAT FAR WITH ROCH. And what did he mean things in his pockets.
Wait...Pockets. She had reached in Roch's pockets...so maybe...NOPE. NOPE. Not doing it. She practically hissed as her baby fangs came out. Augh this was the worst situation ever. She kept a firm grip on his tie, keeping him from pulling back and tapped on the phone again. Quote: My boilfriend will get upset if he see's that picture. What do you want in return so he doesn't see it? Sexy Cocaine OMG SLAYED ME COCO...SLAYED ME.

Look at how mad she was. Oh, too adorable. Just too adorable.
It was obvious Lou wasn't going anywhere. by the way he didn't try to fight back. He seemed content to be tugged around by the tie. Orbs glancing over the phone, Lou spotted something he hadn't expected.
... Boilfriend?
Things just got twenty times better. "Oh. Your boilfriend will get upset. Well. This changes everything!" Lou paused dramatically, the grin fading into a little smile.
"I no longer want to make a deal. This picture is gonna spread like mold on a ghoul who works on Succubus Avenue downtown."Nyxtsuki Moon That's okay, you got me with the nun comment, lmao.

Amphi looked hopeful. He understood her dilmena then! He was empathizing that maybe because she had her new boilfriend, that he would understand the delicacy of their relationship! She cared so much for Roch, she didn't want him to get hurt because Lou was a prankster.
She waited for him to pull the phone out and delete the picture. Instead his grin faded into a small smile that made Amphi c**k her head.
And her face pale. What was succubus avenue? She'd have to ask Roch later about it, NO WAIT PICTURE SPREADING, NOT GOOD.
Amphi pulled his tie so hard now, her face panicky as she looked around and then....reached into his pockets to find the stupid goddamn phone that was the trouble of all these things. Her hand clasped around the small object pulling it out.
Okay now to find the picture...hopefully his phone didn't have a password lock.
Also to make sure he didn't do anything to her...she kicked him in the balls for good measure until she deleted the picture.

Watching the hope fall from her face was most likely what would help Lou sleep at night. It was delicious.
The tie yanking didn't seem to bother him either. "You sure are kinky." He said hoarsely, mildly surprised when the ghoul actually reached into his pockets. Ohohohoho!
"Hehe, that tickles." He seemed keen on milking her embarrassment... Until he took a shot to the crotch.
"HNNNGH." Lou groaned, hands retreating to his crotch to hopefully protect it from further damage. "Hey now, don't mess with the goods sister!" The boil squeaked in a higher octave, allowing his knees to cave in. You think with all the kicks to the balls he took, the vampire would be immune by now. Sadly, it wasn't the case.
Amphi would find that deleting a simple picture wouldn't be as easy as first thought. While there might've been no password lock on the phone, there were many, many pictures.
Many dirty pictures.
Many nude pictures.
Some of Lou.
Yeah, he was that kind of guy.

Amphi felt only a little bad about the nut shot. Only a little. He seemed to be handling it well anyways, he could still talk after all.
She frowned at him for a second and then returned to exploring the phone for the incriminating picture. What she was met with though, turned the whole mermaid into such a dark shade of red, that she actually dropped the phone and then covered her eyes.
Lou....
Naked.....
Lou....naked. NAKED...NAKEEEEEEED....
She had seen him I'm all his full glory and asdfghjkl and it was just hanging there in full sight like...just what even.....she was ruined. She could never look at Roch straight in the face again. That's it, she thought dizzily, she was becoming the first mermaid nun ever. Her eyes burned....BURNED.
It was quite the dramatic reaction but after it all passed, Amphi picked up the demonic phone, handed it to Lou, patted him on the head and started tapping things on her phone.
Once the text message was sent, she held up the phone again and added to Lou, her face extremely red.ice queen Text to Roch: I'm sorry Roch. I was ruined. I'll never be the same after this. please forgive me. Quote: for Lou: It's kinda of small isn't it? Sexy Cocaine asdfghjkl Lou why!!?!?!?!
