Taima and Keahi waited impatiently for their new toys to arrive at their luxurious beach-house in the South Pacific. The whole island was theirs. After the demi-goddess twins put their last boyfriend in the hospital during a jealous squabble, their grandmother had stepped in and arranged for new play things. They were excited.

"I hope mine is smart," Taima day-dreamed. "I'd hate for him to be a stupid-head."

"I hope mine is strong," Keahi replied. "I wouldn't want to break him."

"If mine is strong and stupid, I'll trade you," Taima offered.

"Deal."

"Do you think they'll try to run away like the last one?" Taima asked.

"We're on an island. They can't run," Keahi reasoned. "Besides, Grandmama said if we were nice to them then they would want to stay and play with us. So don't start zapping them with lightening."

"As long as you don't set their hair on fire," Taima retorted, sticking out her tongue.

Keahi heard the crash and sat up. "Did you hear what I heard?"

"They're here!" Taima squealed, clapping her hands together excitedly. The two sisters raced out of the beach house and down to the shore. They saw the wreckage of the two cages.

Keahi cursed. "If those idiot delivery boys broke our new toys before we've even had a chance to play with them, Grandmama will hear about it and they'll be sorry."

"They're alive!" Taima interjected. "I see movement!"

They ran up to the cages and saw the young men. Both girls wore matching smiles of delight, lust, and sinister intentions.

"Welcome home, boys," they chorused.

The girls came up to the edge of the impact crater made by the cages and looked in as if they were at a zoo.

"They're so adorable," Taima cried.

"They're hawt," Keahi purred.

"They're upset. Poor things," Tiama simpered. "We should get them inside."

"You're right, sis. Hey, boy-toys. Come on out if you can. We want to play!" Keahi called.

Taima and Keahi exchanged a glance and a grin.

"Grandmama knew what we like," Keahi giggled. "You're perfect for us."

"So which one of you is mine?" Taima asked. "I want to take my toy to my room."

"Tay--not so soon!" Keahi groaned. "You don't even know if they're trained yet."

"I don't care," her sister sniffed. "Ever since you put Tommy in a coma--"

"YOU put him in the coma!" Keahi interrupted. Her red hair started to spark and fizzle. "You and your damned lightning strikes!"

"I hardly shocked him!" Taima snapped. Streaks of static electricity jumped from lock to lock, making her black tresses look like a thunder cloud. "You're the one that burned his face off!"

"I only singed his eyebrows!" Keahi shrieked and shoved her sister.

"Yeah--if his eyebrows were the size of your face!" Taima screamed and shoved back.

"Your face is the same size as mine!" Keahi retorted. She flung her hands forward and twin fireballs erupted towards her sister.

Taima threw up her hands defensively and lighting arched between her palms. Fire and lightening met in an explosion of white light.

When the dust settled, the two girls were nose-to-nose, hands locked together to prevent any more attacks. Their clothes had been ripped to shreds, but they didn't seem to notice their nearly-nude state.

"There are two, this time," Taima muttered through clenched teeth.

"So?" Keahi demanded.

"So...we don't need to fight over them," Taima concluded. "You take yours, I'll take mine. We'll go to opposite sides of the island, if we have to."

Keahi relaxed a little. "Sorry," she muttered. "I guess you're right."

Taima dropped her arms. "I am," she agreed. "Now, lets collect our new toys."

"You still going to get nasty right away?" Keahi asked.

"Not necessarily," Taima said with a coy smile. "Depends if he's a good boy."

"Ugh," was all Keahi would say. They walked over to where the boys were watching. "You!" Keahi pointed at James. Then she crooked her finger and beckoned him closer. "I like you. Wanna play?"

Taima plopped on the sand next to Jacob. She ran one finger up his well-toned arm. "I guess you are mine."

"I'm Taima," Taima said, snaking her arm around James' waist. "And please...do try to break me."

"And I'm Keahi," Keahi added. "And yes, break her. She'd be better off as a zombie."

"You just want to have both of them all to yourself," Taima accused.

Keahi shrugged. "Guilty. But I'll let you wear him out a little first."

Taima stuck her tongue out at her sister.

"You look like you could use a bath," Taima observed. "I know this little place in the jungle--a quiet pool under the shade of a mango tree. Feel like a swim?" She pulled him towards the tree line."

"I'm hungry. Lets go get something to eat," Keahi said, grabbing Jacob's hand hauling him towards the beach house.

Keahi looked at him, astonished by the question. "My paternal grandfather is the Shark King. My maternal grandmother is Pele. I'm a demi-goddess. You would find it very, very difficult to kill me, and even more difficult to hide from my family once you had," she explained very clearly as she led him into the small kitchen. "Mangos. That's what I'm craving. Do you like like fruit?"

She picked up a large yellow mango and a sharp thin knife. She quickly pealed and sliced it, making neat and even wedges of fruit.

Out in the jungle, Taima led James to the pool. It was a nearly perfectly round depression in the lava flow filled with clear water from higher up the mountain. She took off her sarong to reveal a bright blue bikini.

"Oh," Taima said, suddenly disappointed. Slipped into the pool. "Is he the smart one, then?"
