Roll a Ten: Playground Field: The field looks like an average playground. Grass mostly covers the field floor, but sand surrounds the areas where the jungle gym, see-saw, swing set, merry-go-round, monkey bars, and trapeze rings are set. Scattered around the field are a baseball, a soccer ball, a football, and many other types of balls. A tree stands at one corner of the playground with a tire swing hanging from its strongest branch. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to NORMAL type attacks.

Lenore walked into the stadium, Mephistopheles at her side. The duskull floated down to the playground below as he waited for his opponent.

"Ehehe! A ghosty, a ghosty!" Enide cackled to herself as she entered the stadium. Sienna found her Murkrow perched on her head today. "C'mon Enide, ride's over," The bird keeper smilied. She looked across the field to their opponent and waved. "Hi there! I'm Sienna and this is Enide and we're your opponents today~!"

The Murkrow glided from her head onto the field. She liked the tire-swing the best it seemed.

"I guess we're starting, Enide!" Sienna called. "Start us off with Calm Mind, raise your defense!"

The Murkrow pecked at her tire-swing perch before summoning psychic energy to raise her defense.

"Greetings. I am Mephistopheles, or Mephisto. I am your opponent for this match. Good luck." As he spoke, his eye glowed faintly.

What was that move? It seemed like a status change type thing, but Sienna couldn't tell what it was. "Try attacking, Enide!" She suggested.

The Murkrow didn't want to leave her perch just yet, so she tried to fling some dark energy the Duskull's way. "Hrmhrm, that's quiteeee a name you have there Mephistototo. I am Enide." She cocked her head. The attack she tried to send had manifested into another Calm Mind. She caw'ed. Weird!

The duskull bowed. "I thank you." He ignored the fact that the murkrow had gotten it completely wrong. He pointed at the bird pokemon, and an otherwordly flame erupted beside it.

"Oh oh oh hot! Hot!" Enide screeched as the wisps danced around her. "Little willooooooows, please go away!" She flapped around, which didn't help her much at all. All she could do was use Calm Mind.

Static raced along the duskull's arm. Mephistopheles launched a bolt of electricity at the murkrow.

The murkrow cried out as she was struck by a bolt of electricity. Ouch! Even with her raised defense, that hurt, especially in addition to the burn.

The Murkrow shook herself out and sent a gust of fiery air at her opponent.

Mephistopheles evaded the super heated air as his eye glowed. Another blue flame erupted directly beneath the murkrow.

The Murkrow flapped about wildly as little balls of the bigger blue flame clung to her body.

Sienna winced. That was a strong hit, her bird was definitely going to have some burns. If only Murkrows could learn Foresight..."Try the Heat Wave again!"

Enide continued to flail wildly, but not without blowing another wave of flaming air at her opponent.
