Due to the large change in the US dollar to the S. Korean Yen DOD are putting their prices up. T.T
So sadly this means international buyers are going to have to pay more until the exchange hopefully goes down.
It's going to be changing on the 1st of March {tomorrow!} but no one knows how large the change is yet.
So, has this affected your plans of buying or saving for a doll? Will you still buy them despite them now being more expensive? Do you think it will affect your view on their value for money? Should they start sanding again to make up for it despite the longer wait it would cause?
I know I will but it could've come at a worse time! I've got my two DOCs paids for and delived {waiting on one to arrive today} but now I'm saving for DOT Camine. Why did they have the change the price when I'm going for the most expensive one?!

Its only around 30-50$ per doll.
If you're already saving a large lump of money for the doll, its not that much of a deal.

it won't be too bad, I think Luts also raised their prices, but only by a little bit, so I'm assuming that it'll be the same with DOD. although it does kinda suck, because its happening right as I'm contemplating getting a Twing-Key! >.< (its all Vitae's fault!)

Yeah, I think all of the doll companies did it. I know Hounds sold by Luts went from $550 to $620! However the Hounds from Dollmore went from $550 to $577. What is up with that?!

Yeah, frankly I'm just not going to buy another doll from Luts for awhile unless I find uber awesomeness doll that I must have.

Luckily I bought my Twing-key before all this started to happen. The sanding thing is a real bummer because compared to my friends dolls from other companies her skin was smoothest. The price thing is just sad because our stupid american money is becoming less powerfull. I wish this was not happening! sad cry crying

I bought my Costa before the whole price thing happened as well. I'm glad, because my next few dolls aren't going to be from Luts anyway.
