Sleet Tempest Snape
Sitting at home, though it really looked uncomfortable how he was sitting, Alexandre was nursing a few minor wounds and smelled heavily of herbs, due to the salves he made. Patched up as best he could be, without emptying a bandage box, he was eying his cell phone with disdane. It sat there innocently enough but he needed to call Lily, she'd left him a message to call her back. They did need to talk, he needed to tell her he'd gone and painted the house - including her room. She had after all moved all her things from her room. He also had to tell her he had a friend now moved into the guest room. Finally he weakly pitched forward and grabbed his phone from the coffee table and pulled up the phone book and called Lily. Waiting as his phone rang he sat back, gently, into the couch. "So glad I'm still young." And would heal better and faster.

Lily sat in her room looking out the window. The english country side was truly phenomenal and she had enjoyed the quiet this new life had to offer. Her father had been offered the chance to branch overseas as a company head and he had taken it. The family had planned to vacation in England in the summer anyway. Her parents had both demanded she come with them to England and she conceided needing a break, but the longer she was there the clearer it became they did not want her to go back.
She desperately missed her best friends and she hadnt been able to take to Alex as much as she had wanted. Her phone rang and she turned looking at it for a moment as it buzzed on her nightstand. Standing she headed over to grab it before returning to her perch in the window. She looked at the phone, the screen flashes Alex's name. She blinked coming out of her stupor and answered it immediately.
"Hello, Alex. Alex I miss you so much. Its so boring without you!"

"Of course it is." He stated, smiling as much as he could even if she couldn't see it. "I'm not around to keep you entertained." As if he was that important to her life, and he was - wasn't he? "I've been bored as well." Actually he'd been busy and not at all bored but rather lonely. And he was sure she'd understand that. He was rarely bored, he could always go shopping or find some other means to entertain himself. He'd found lots of ways to entertain himself, though he wouldn't use the term entertain so much as he'd use the term filling in time.
"I painted the house, I still am working on it. I painted your room...since you took everything." He hadn't known why her parents had told her to take everything, it hadn't made sense but he hadn't questioned it. "It's a sage color now...I - I needed to paint it." He needed a clean slate...to fill in the void she'd left in leaving...to try and wipe that away so he could pretend she hadn't left - hadn't been here. He knew she'd know, his voice and words would give him away to her. He was an open book to her, always had been, and he loved her for that. He could act all he wanted and she saw through it all and he could also be as open as he wanted and it was alright to be so.
"The living room is a camel color." Biting his lip as he shifted and pulled on some cut which sent signals of pain shooting and racing through him. He really needed to watch how he moved more closely. At least she wasn't home to see him like this, even though he really did miss her he didn't need to be beaten and banged up with her here.

Lily smiled hearing Alex's voice, she wasn't the least bit angry that he painted her room. She sighed feeling a bit shaky at his words, "I understand Alex. Its okay. I love sage, matches my hair, right?"
She looked down at her clothes clutched her shirt, sage had been a color in her fuku, but she hadnt seen that fuku in two months. She had no reason to power up in the English countryside. She never thought she would miss it, but being Maia had brought her so much. So much more than she had ever realized. She'd been so sheltered before. She missed her friends.
Lily sniffed, "Camel color huh, my room here is white. I think I would prefer sage. Eamon and I are so bored all the time. Its so quite. We both miss you and Cadha. My parents ..." she paused not sure how to tell him what she wanted to tell him.

"It does...and it's rather calming." He said softly, glad to hear she didn't mind. "I thought you might like it, when you come back..." She was coming back, right? He knew she said that but the fact her parents had everything packed up made him doubt. He couldn't' help but doubt it, why else had everything but the bed and mattress been packed up and shipped?
"Yeah, Camel. I wanted something warm but neutral. I dislike white...it's like hospitals and it's bright - blinding." He may wear white at times but for a room it simply didn't work. It was too bright and empty looking.
"Cadha misses you and Eamon also. Though he has two new friends." He spoke, smiling a bit as he looked around, as if speaking of the Scottish Terrier would bring the small black dog running up to him. When it was likely that he was busy with one of the aforementioned friends of his.
"I moved someone into the guest room...I really hope you don't mind. But I know you'll also understand." He knew she would, Lily was caring and loving like that, not to mention it only made sense to do as he had.

Lily smiled even though she was so sadded not being able to see Alex. Next time you would make sure to tell Alex they need to face time. "I glad you added a little color to the place and I'm glad Cadha has two new friends. I hope they are your friends too." She laughed lightly feeling slightly better.
Hearing Alex had moved someone into the guest room perked her interest. "Oh, do I know them or is it the new friend. I'm glad you moved someone else into the house with you. I don't want you to be lonely. It would make me sad to know you aren't too lonely with me."
That statement however brought her back to the matter at hand, "Alex listen I really need to tell you something. I ... I ... don't think my parents want me to come back to Destiny City and the more I bring up the subject the more irritated they become. I don't know what to do!"

"Someone newish. They were involved in the play. Their father is ill...dying. It would seem his mother didn't want him to remain home to see and deal with it all, so sent him to live with me. He's doing well, or as well as he can, he has a lot of energy but puts on a good mask." He said thinking about Johnathan as he spoke.
"I think you'll like him, though he is hyper. He can bake, cook, clean, and everything else. I'm working to try and settle him in." And break him of thinking he had to do everything. He still spoke as though Lily would be returning, though as he continued to talk and think he doubted it more and more. Biting his lip as she spoke he found himself shaking his head, slate eyes wet with tears suddenly. "They tricked you - us. They tricked us." He spoke his voice shaking. "You do what you feel is right, the best thing for you. If you come back." Yes if, he didn't know or want to assume she'd return. "I'll pick up you up at the air port." He swore he would, his voice firm and confident.
"So much has changed..." He whispered into the phone, letting the tears fall as he blinked.

Lily only vaguely listened to his words about his new roommate, thinking only vaguely that his roommate sounded like a nice addition and that she might like the other person.
"I want to come back, but my parents want us to make a life in England. Its beautiful here, but its just not the same. Xander seems very happy, he like England and its peacefulness, he worried about my restlessness. Rose is happy to, trying to break into the English acting business, having more sucess that the American market."
Lily pressed her hand against the window no longer speaking, just looking down on the courtyard, phone to her ear, just breathing and taking comfort from Alex despite the fact that he was across the ocean. "Im not sure I would make it to the airport Alex. I don't understand why my parents are doing all this, why they are so determined. Its like they think I going to disappear or something. I don't know ... I thought they trusted me. I don't know what happened."
In truth she was beginning to suspect Xander had told her parents her secret, she was a bit upset with him at the moment because it was the only reason she could come up with, unless they had seen her, it could have happened.

"That's them, what about you? Your siblings are happy, content, not that I'm not concerned but your like my sister - more than they are like siblings to me." Saying this he smiled into the phone. No, England couldn't be the same and maybe if he was there Lily would be ok there. He wasn't thinking with his ego either, he knew he made a difference in her life, he had an impact upon Lily's life.
"Maybe Rose can help, you know she's good with plotting things. If you talk to her and explain things to her..." No doubt Lily's parents would be cross with him if she made it back to Destiny City and they found out he'd played a part in it, even if it was a small part. He was willing to gain their dislike and anger, her father surely wouldn't take it out on his mother...right?
"Your father wouldn't take it out on my mother...would he?" He doubted it but he wasn't in England and didn't know where her parents were mentally so he couldn't properly asses things. "I know your parents will be upset with me, I'm alright with that. I want you happy and where you want to be." He said while shifting on the couch.

"Your the best Alex, you know that right. Like having a twin only were not actually related. I don't like being across the ocean."
Someone knocked on her door and she frowned, "I have to go Alex. I'll talk to Rose and I will call you back tonight. Hopefully I will be able to get back home before the end of summer. I hope I will be able to bring Eamon as well, althought he seems to really love the English countryside."
She looked to the door as it opened and her mother poked her head in, she quickly hid her phone before giving her mother a somewhat sleepy glance.
"Fall asleep in the window again love. Can't say I blame you, its so peaceful here," her mother said. "One of your father's colleages came over for some tea, would you come help out with that. I'm not sure how your teas are organized."
"Alex gave those to me," she said in a whisper slightly irritated not really for that reason, but because her conversation had been interrupted.
"What was the Lily blossom," her mother asked lightly.
"Nothing, just let me change and I'll be right down," she said before watching her mother head back out.
She quickly put her phone back to her ear, "Bye Alex," she said before hanging up.

"I know, your like a sister to me - a twin." Where he couldn't stand his cousins for long periods of time he couldn't stand being away from Lily for long periods of time. "Call me when it's safe, I don't want anyone finding out." No, that would be bad if their plans were figured out. "Do what you think is best for Eamon." He wouldn't decide that for her, never. It was up to her what she did with Eamon, even if Cadha would miss his friend.
He had been sending her teas whenever he could, whenever he made some for her. Every time he did it hurt thinking about Lily, wondering if she liked it and how much she needed. He thought of all the times they would sit down together, her with her tea and he with some flavored water, talking about any and everything.
Hearing her whispered good bye he heard the phone hang up and held on even as the dial tone sounded. Finally cancelling the call as well he pitched forward enough to set his phone back down. Getting to his feet he shuffled his way into the kitchen to call for Cadha, his phone left in the living room on the coffee table. When the little dog didn't come he headed out to find him, the little dog liked to get into things, and Alexandre found him in a bush against the fence - digging.
Sighing he pulled the little dog from the bush, gingerly, and carried him inside. "bed time for you...and a bath tomorrow."
