And so Deryk made his attack. Rushing in on the horseman, he jumped up into the air before trying to stab down at her from behind with the hidden blade. And possibly try to knock her down in the process.

It seemed even with wings the hunter moved quicker leaping into the air before she could take flight as his weapon slashed down across her shoulder, her helm barely keeping the blade from biting her face as well.

She wasted no time turning flaring her wings to push the hunter back as she snapped out one of her twin axes at his own chest.

Deryk let out a cry as he took the ax to the chest, causing him to stagger back. Between that and the traps around here, he wasn't sure if continually fighting was really all that good of an idea. He may need to pull back at some point.

Breathing a little shakily, he rushed back at the horseman. At least this one was a pony and not a student...

Coming back close, he thrusted out with the hidden blade, towards her own chest.

The blade struck true as he moved in, though a plate of armor tucked in her robes was the only thing that kept it from sinking too deep, she grunted none the less from the impact as the hunter drew closer.

She moved backwards, a flash of wings and feathers gone one second, sadly it seemed Deryk was quicker and when she reappeared her axes caught nothing, leaving the hunter free to continue his attack.

The flash of feathers almost caught him off guard. But, either by luck or some degree of skill, he managed to avoid whatever she was trying to pull just then. Turning around, he let out a shout as he tried to slash her with the blade, feeling it sink in.All this time, Tooley had been singing in his head, ready to be unleashed.

He didn't really want to do just that though.

Her arm was turning red. Even as she reappeared he was turning his blade lashing across her arm opening it easily letting red blood seep down. It seemed even horsemen could bleed.

Still it was no time to linger, her own axes lashed back in retaliation barely clipping the hunter before her wings snapped open launching her away from the battle. Feathers and blood trailing down as she left.
