Hoshi Lockhart

The sun beat down overhead, its warmth shining on Myria's face. She trotted along, heading in no particular direction. Today, she had managed to slip away from her nearly constant supervision. She was excited, but also nervous. It didn't seem like anything bad could happen, but if there was nothing dangerous, why wasn't she allowed out on her own?
She was so lost in thought that she soon wandered much further than she had intended. Myria stumbled over a root in her path and nearly fell into a foal, who she hadn't noticed before.
Oh! Myria exclaimed. Sorry about that. I didn't see you there. I'm Myria, who are you?
