It felt good here in the snow. He didn't have to worry about temperature here. He didn't have to worry about too much of anything. It was absolutely perfect. Where here was exactly, he didn't know, but he'd stumbled upon a snowy area in the Scarefari and he was determined to spend his day here.
Glasere Uller needed a break from the Quizzle he was trying to nurse back to health. He didn't have the heart to release it just yet, so he might actually end up keeping it as another pet for himself. The cut, he found out after sending Tahki to her own room, wasn't as bad as he thought, but it was starting to show the signs of infection. He did what he could with it, though.
While it wasn't showing signs of infection anymore, the Quizzle refused to leave his side. It howled and clawed at the door to his dorm room if he left, even for a shower, come to find out. It was kind of cute, but so annoying at the same time.
Dressed how he was, in a thin coat, thin long sleeve shirt, with a pair of jeans and boots, one would say he wasn't ready to tread the snow alone. But he had lived in worse conditions than this before he came here. Sighing heavily, Uller kept walking aimlessly, loving the wind wiping his hair back, the crunch of the snow.. It just reminded him so much of home. It was comforting.

Snow was a comforting blanket for Frost in the Storm. Snuggling into the drops of frozen water he could melt away and forget his woes of the world. In the snow there was just cold comfort. A peaceful serenity that the ghost found no where else. Sure the place aside from the springs was the scarefari but hey, he'd take what he could get. Better than no snow at all in his opinion.
Red eyes peered out from his snow cocoon at the crush of ice under feet. Here, student forms were free, and Frost was happy as the large wolf he was not allowed to take in the dorms. A student by the looks of it, Frost melted back into the snow, circling around. A bit of mischievousness snuck into him and he formed a snowball, launching it and the student before slipping in the snow to another spot.

When he didn't see anyone else around, Uller found himself a tree near by with a knot in the trunk. He could keep the pin there. Grinning, he took the pin out of his hair and stepped away from the tree. His breaths were long and deep as the power before the shift hit him. It was like pure adrenalin running through his veins. It made his face flush and contort into one of almost pleasure mixed with pain.
Before there was a blue man clothed in winter clothes, now stood a huge beast of a stag. Black eyes wide and looking around. Nostrils flaring as he sniffed for anything out of the ordinary. His breath came in short pants as the rush died down, leaving him buzzing and tingling all over. Uller shook himself a few times, getting the fur on him to settle right before flicking his ears back and forth.
The antlers felt so odd; he hadn't been in this shape in so long! He welcomed the familiar weight of them. The snow started falling as he just walked right now, taking everything in with a new pair of eyes, a new height. Their full weight was something he wished he could keep in his human form, but it would get hard to walk around like that with how short his human size was.
Everything felt a lot better. A huge relief.
With that, the stag picked up the pace before he just ran, breath crystallizing before him. He was laughing inwardly, and let out an odd, but obviously joyous 'scream' of sorts. Little did he know there was a dog near by. The snow was masking the scent. But, Uller could take care of himself. One hit from a giant hoof and any opponent would fall.

Red eyes widened as he watched the student change. Stag. Deer. Food. The instinct to chase kicked in. He might have gotten better with cats, but this was a deer. A hart. He took slow breaths, trying to focus on the scent of snow, not demon deer. It would have been okay maybe, had the students not begun to run. The instinct would not be denied. As soon as Uller was running, King was moving flanking him in the snow.
A pair of red eyes, clearly visible from the snow, the wolfos didn't bother to hide.
The chase as it were, was on.

Something happened to make the stag look behind him. Something was running after him, eyes glowing red and his 'brows' knit together hard when he realized it was a wolf? A dog? Some form of canine. This was not good. Not good at all. He picked up the pace and started to zig and zag so the dog wouldn't get him.
He didn't want to be eaten. He didn't really want to be chased! Ugh, the one time he actually got to go to his stag form, something decide's he's breakfast. Uller grunted and jumped a rock when it came in his path before suddenly veering right and headed towards a frozen lake. He was praying that the lake would put the dog off enough that he wouldn't follow.
Every once in a while, his head turned to look back. He honestly didn't want to fight.

Chase was simple instinct. It ran? You chased. Run it down. Cut it off. You caught it and then you were the victor and would be rewarded. Nevermind it was you know.
A student. These things just happened sometimes. It ran, King chased.
As the deer jumped around King felt his legs burn. It was a real chase, something he hadn't done in a long while. He almost missed the rock barely managing to slide around it, loosing ground on the deer. Sadly, frozen lake? A little harder to dodge, wolfos skidding onto the ice and sliding his way rather than running.

Frozen lakes were no problem for him. He learned how to run on them when he was a foal. Still, he slid occasionally out of sheer panic. If only he could turn around and get his stupid pin. Maybe this is why he had to take his human shape. Letting out another puff of air as he slipped, landing hard on his side, Uller felt his head rattling as his antler hit the ice, sending vibrations along his spine in an unpleasant tingling sensation.
He slid to a stop about half way across the lake and laid there for a little bit, just breathing hard. The ability to run wouldn't come to him for a few minutes still. It felt like one of his antler spikes had broken off. s**t, it would take forever to regrow.
Those eyes looked towards the dog and let his 'brows' knit together as he tried to get to his hooves. Don't eat me, don't eat me!

Growling at himself for being such a fool, nails dug into the ice as he tried to find his footing. Din damn him for his tunnel vision. Going after prey didn't mean being an idiot. Skidding a bit on the ice he went after the fallen deer, growling low in his throat. Wobbling, he made his way to the deer, determination written on his features.
The clatter of claws on ice ended as King reached the fallen deer, falling next to his, laying his paws over it's back. "You have been caught." He was pleased with himself. He got the deer under his paws, that was all that mattered.

When he didn't feel the bite of teeth in his neck, or claws digging into his flesh, Uller blinked, confused for a moment and looked up at the wolf. He wasn't dinner? Sighing, the deer shifted under his claws and shuddered a little bit. "...Why did you chase me if you do not want to eat me?" he asked the wolf, ears flicking this way and that before sighing again. Uller would stay on the ground, terrified the wolf would change his mind. Better not piss of the one that captured you. Though, Uller was pissed off at himself for falling like he did and not getting up right away. His head was still vibrating from the impact of his antlers on the ice. How the ice didn't crack completely because of that, must mean the ice was pretty thick. "Who are you anyway? Are you another student?" He asked, looking toward the tree where his necklace lay. His pin was connected to a necklace. He figured that was the best way for him to carry it around since it would get annoying having to change it from outfit to outfit.

"To catch." The wolfos wasn't about to eat. He'd gotten something earlier. Plus this was a person, not a dear. Or something. " And I am a student." The deer said another, and King stared at them. Now he really couldn't eat them/ Eating students was a big no no. Dang it. Tail flicking back and forth King sighed rolling off before trying to make his way back to the snow and get off the ice. Broken antler only got a curious look. It probably wouldn't be that good, given the lack of meat. Bone needed meat for him. Looking back he huffed. "You ran, I chased. That is.. instinct. Truthfully I did not men to harm or frighten, only.. catch." It made sense to him anyway.

Oh, so he was slow minded. Well, not everyone could have his brains. Sighing heavily, the Stag got to his feet and made his way back to solid ground before heading towards the tree. His legs were shaky right now and his heart was still pumping. Taking his necklace and getting it about his neck, Uller changed back into his humanoid form and looked for the Wolfos. "So if I hadn't run you wouldn't have chased me?" He asked, doubting that would be the case. Wolves thought of deer as food, didn't they? A whole pack of wolves would mean that Uller had no chance to escape. But, this wolfos was a student and he figured the school wouldn't take to kindly to the eating of another student. He rubbed his face and fixed his clothes before sighing. "What's your name, Wolf?" Uller figured he needed to know the name of the one that chased him down like that. Maybe he'd enjoy a run with the wolf in the far future. Sometimes running and stretching his legs was a good thing, but he didn't want a surprise chase. So, he figured he'd invite the wolfos to go with him, so if he did end up getting chased, the Stag wouldn't have to worry about getting eaten. It made sense in his head more than it did on paper, but that was Uller's life.

"What point if giving chase if something is not running?" He snorted, running after something that wasn't running- that was just boring and hardly a chase at all. Reaching the snow King dug himself into it, rolling in the cold flakes. So much better than a frozen lake. If the stag changed and King huffed. "Frost in the Storm. And you ice hart?" A simple title, it was fitting in King's mind.
Ears flicking he listened to the sound of snow under his paws, and minipets in the distance. "Why did you come here by the way? You didn't have any trapping supplies."

Ice Hart.
He liked that. Grinning at that, the boy shrugged and tossed his hair out of his face and off his shoulders. "I came for a run. It is so stuffy in the school with so many other things about. I don't even know what to call them," he said, sighing. "I'm Glasere Uller... Most call me by my last name." He looked the wolfos over and rolled his eyes. He had the right idea, at least, burying himself in the snow.
"No trapping for me. I've only trapped a few times. Usually someone does that for me. Harts aren't exactly known for their trapping skills. We lure prey to their deaths. Usually off of a cliff or further into a storm before we eat them."

"Stuffy and warm." King huffed. He didn't like the heaters they had. The classes should be cold, if not frozen in his opinion. "But do you means the students getting into a tiff over humans? They're special, I'll give them that." Rolling onto his back, King stared up sided down. "It is nice to meet you Glasere. And your kind sounds like my tribe. Only we chase humans to their doom. Usually let them go, but on occasion they just-" he held up his paw before letting it fall, "-have accidents."

A laugh escaped the stag's throat as Frost explained everything. Nodding and sighing a little more, he sat down in the snow and got comfortable right there. "It's a fairly common practice, though. So it's bound to show up in more than just wolfos. Most are like: But you're a deer." A grin spread across his face as he leaned in and watched Frost.
"Which humans do you like chasing down the most?" His own were bigger humans. Watching them waddle was amusing as sin to him.
