THE ABANDONED TOWNThis area is both practically abandoned and covered in a fine layer of white fog. Occasionally, there are strange whispers, a soft cry, the noise of wingbeats and someone watching. The town itself is mostly decrepit, save for a few houses, ones that Hunters have salvaged and have made their own little abode. Quaint, almost.
This area contains a few Hunter homes but not much of anything else. Destroying this area will destroy their homes. OOC RULES - PLEASE READ ALL RULES HERE FIRST- ANY PVPS OCCURRING HERE SHOULD BE LABELLED [ ABANDONED TOWN PVP ] [Title here] [characters here ] So we know that it occurs IN THIS SETTING/AREA. - Once again a reminder that PVPs need their own threads in order not to clutter up this thread. - PVPS here are still considered IN THIS ZONE. - Anyone posting in this thread not exiting/ quoted for exit is fair game. OOC: THE ABANDONED TOWN THE ABANDONED TOWN HP 100/100: gaia_crown [ DESTROYING PROPERTY ] Students AND Horsemen can attempt to destroy the Abandoned Town barrier and wreck some property! The town has a barrier of 100/100 before anyone can get inside! - Something whispers to a few players, it speaks of Home. Anyone infected with INSANITY gains an attack bonus. They do x2 damage in this area ONLY. Something pulls to these characters as well, making them unable to go any further, CALLING them to this area only. This is home, they should stay here, they should protect their home. - IF YOU HAVE AN INSANITY INFECTED CHARACTER: It is very likely (up to you OOCly) that your character will get stuck here. All they will here is a voice calling HOME to them, telling them to return, everything turning to greys, insignificant now, all that matters is homehomeHOMEHOME HOME-

The siren had roused him from his work and sent him running to the main base. This was not how he wanted to spend the day in the slightest. Coat buttons fastened he'd been sent scrambling as orders were barked from one to another. Go to the infirmary, someone get to the pods to protect the sleepers, who was at the cove? Where was S-and-So? A myriad of questions flying over his head before the simple question of 'who's not been assigned?' A hair lifted as other hunters ran past. Finger pointed at Marcus the order was given, "Get to the towns. Prioritize the renovated buildings over the ones still down." Orders given, orders to be followed. Marcus had little trouble getting runic daggers from the quartermaster, who was more than happy to only pass the out with just a name and weapon taken. Daggers stapped to his leg the moon hunter was ready, running down along with a few others. The town was less populated, and unlike the main building or the infirmary, it was not that much of a threat. Still, it needed defending like anything else. Looking around, the Moon didn't see any halloweeners just yet. ((Entering)) After the signal was given, Jericho found himself drawn to a particular part of the base. It was rather reminiscent of the time he was here a little over a year ago. Yes, he wanted to save the students, but there was just something about this place that called to him. Whispers of home could be heard. Home. This was home wasn't it? Home was a rather messy place right now. He needed to protect and fix it up a bit. Of course, he couldn't quite reach it just yet. There was something in his way. Snarling, he clenched his fist and punched it. OOC MY CHARACTER NAME HERE IS NOT IN PVP! My character is attacking this Zone! Include this line only if applicable and you are actually doing that in this post. Gale was only seconds behind Marcus.
It may have been superficial, but the last thing he was going to do was let the house - no, the home - he had worked so hard to protect be destroyed. Pulling the sunglasses down on his face, with Jinhai already summoned and in hand, Gale moved into position, climbing around the side of one of the more dilapidated houses and resting the barrel of the gun in a window.
He could see one of the Halloween creatures.

"On it! I'll cover this one, keep your eyes out for others coming down!" The scimitar thrummed in his hand. Angry as he was, Dis hungered for FEAR. Grabbing a good sized rock the hunter yelled out. "So what happened with all your guy's talk of 'Oh boohoo hunters attack our homes." The weapon crackled at him, Dis wanting FEAR. "Damn lot of hypocrites you are."

There was something odd too. Perhaps it was a sort of delayed reaction, but Jericho could kind of feel himself gaining more clarity. He was starting to feel rather good. Perhaps it was the effects of the mystic water he had drank. The voices had even seemed to begin to dull down. There was still a tug of the need for home, but it felt like it was weakening. Was he being cured perhaps? The prospect caused the dragon to grin, currently not caring that there were hunters in the area. He could feel power surging through him. Yes. He was getting better. He was sure of it! Granted, he soon had his attention grabbed by one of the hunters. "This is our home now," he snarled. OOC MY CHARACTER NAME HERE IS NOT IN PVP! My character is attacking this Zone! Include this line only if applicable and you are actually doing that in this post. ((Renter)) Jericho had taken flight after dealing with the hunter for a little bit. With a roar, he started to breathe fire at the barrier surrounding the town. Senga's wings twitched and unfurled, brilliant tawny feathers stretching out and giving low, soft flaps to ward away the mist. The word echoed in his head without true meaning, and the voices chanted it too, singing and screaming and whispering in the shell of his ear. Don't you want to go? Don't you want to go back? His lips pulled back, shoulders tense and spine crawling as he set foot down just beyond the barrier of the Abandoned Town.
There was something here, something he wanted, something just beyond his reach.
Home, home, home. The voices laughed at him and shouted, GO BACK, GO HOME.
Senga's wings arched, and howling, the horseman lashed out, raking at the barrier with scarred grey hands. OOC SENGA IS NOT IN PVP! My character is attacking this Zone! Damage being done: 10 - 8 = 2 (x2) = 4. He staggered back towards the town feeling not nearly as confident as he had been, a scarlet line of blood sliding down the side of his face. Angrily he glanced over at his house, which was miraculously still standing - but Gale had the strong feeling it would not be standing for much longer.

Jay had to wonder why she was here. In this part of the island. Green eyes turned toward the direction of the main headquarters. She really didn’t care about the infirmary. It was the headquarters she wanted to head for, destroy and wreak havoc upon. That had been her initial destination until she realized Senga was flying for a different direction. “Senga!” she called after her childhood friend, but he was silent as usual.
It was only the loud roar from the wolf horseman that caused Jay to pause, to stare and really look at Senga as he bashed the barrier. She watched him warily, but made no move to attack the barrier. Not yet, anyways.OOC Jay IS NOT IN PVP!
