THE JUNGLE OUTPOSTDeep down a single, solitary path is a thick, tropical forest. Dangerous creatures, from poisonous snakes to spiders litter this area. Though the path is marked by a series of glowing Runic Daggers, there is something else glowing bright through the abyss: the portal exit out.
This area will need to be thoroughly secured if either faction want to win as it is a crucial key to their success. For those who did not drink the water, this area is also their first and last destination during the invasion. OOC RULES - PLEASE READ ALL RULES HERE FIRST- ANY PVPS OCCURRING HERE SHOULD BE LABELLED [ JUNGLE PVP] [Title here] [characters here ] So we know that it occurs IN THIS SETTING/AREA. - Once again a reminder that PVPs need their own threads in order not to clutter up this thread. - PVPS are still considered IN THIS ZONE. - Anyone posting in this thread not exiting/ quoted for exit is fair game. OOC: THE OUTPOST THE JUNGLE OUTPOST HP: 50/50 gaia_crown [ SECURING THE JUNGLE OUTPOST/ PORTAL ] Students AND Horsemen can attempt to secure the Jungle Outpost. The Jungle Outpost has 50/50 HP as the barrier! - The area is filled with that its filled with snakes, man-eating creatures, and Clarice's "test traps". For every time ANYONE (student, Hunter or horsemen) makes an ATTACK/ DEFENSE/ HEAL/ ACTION move that is not purely rp in this area, they take -5 damage! -Once the outpost has hit 0 HP, it is SECURED. That means it is no longer protected and anyone can use it for the time remaining. gaia_crown [ RECLAIMING THE JUNGLE OUTPOST/ PORTAL ]- Hunters can RECLAIM the Jungle portal IF: no students OR Horsemen are around to watch over it. If the thread has NO ACTIVE STUDENTS HERE AT ANY POINT IN TIME, then this area will be AUTOMATICALLY TAKEN OVER by the Hunters - However as long as there is a single student here (or currently engaged in Jungle PVP) and they have NOT MOVED to any other area OR been KO'ed, AND the HP of this place is 0/0, then it is STUDENT/HORSEMEN CLAIMED.

As they began packing their tents up to begin the next Zen-filled activity Killzone had planned, the jungle violently came alive. Alarms blared loudly through through the jungle, setting creatures of all sorts flying from the trees en masse, and the forest itself dancing in their panicked wake. Shining lights. Power. And something else...on some level they could feel a layer of protection had been stripped from them, something so subtle it was difficult to notice until it had been stripped away. There was a gold flash as Killzone summoned his weapon, glowing metal covering his fist with a rictus grin. "We're under attack," the hunter's voice was brisk, all business. "The nearest portal is over yonder. I'll take point, Jerry, you grab the rear. William, monitor your phone for updates. Everyone else, stand alert and ready, be aware of your range and that of your neighbors." the ooc : for Zenquest members This Raid takes place the day after the campout! All the campers are still in jungle after an interesting night's sleep! The Zenquest thread is not closed and will continue, pre-dated. The success of each teams tent also determined their night's sleep. The jungle had some flash rainshowers, massive amounts of insects, snakes, and various small wild animals warped by FEAR and Insanity exposure. The better a tent was set up, the less hunters had to worry about these things. The worse a tent was, the more leaks and visitors they recieved. In the morning, they would find their hands able to finally separate. Should you want them to be moved to abother area, just have them ask Killzone and provide an IC reason.

Ami turned over in her tent and waved a hand. "Fiveuhmoar minutes," was mumbled until she saw Killzone summon his weapon out of her peripheral. Unlike some of the others, Ami had actually had a pretty decent sleep once she'd pried Rin off her and made the black-haired girl hug a pillow.
Then again, it could be because Ami sorely lacked sleep, so ANY sleep was good.
She stuttered to her feet, summoning Junpei. She smiled lightly as she realized her wrist was no longer bound to Rin's. "Aye aye, Captain feels," she grumbled, saluting half-heartedly, falling into formation.
Truthfully, she was alarmed out of her wits, but Ami had an award-winning poker face. It was calm, cold, expressionless. A completely carefree, lackadaisical look. If she had to squish a few bugs from halloween? ... Well it was no skin off her back.OOC AMI IS NOT IN PVP! They would lay siege here, in the jungle, among the comforts of plants and insects that the demon found to be familiar. They stripped off their coat, revealing a sleeveless top to their dress. It would not be worth it to sully it-- and, if they had to fight?

For Rep sleep had not been forthcoming. Despite warming to Petra a great deal as the night wore on, until he found himself quite capable of tolerating the bracelet for the duration - it was impossible for him to sleep without familiar company. What dozing he managed was fraught with mingled nightmares of past events, and fitful at best. When the alarms went off he jerked out of his lazy reverie, heart racing.
Lights.
Something ******** important was going on. He immediately turned to Killzone, intent on orders. He wasn't disappointed. The man even took into account his lockdown cuff, gave him somewhere to direct his attention other than the feeling of helplessness he might otherwise have been mired in. Fishing out his phone he realised as he picked it up in his left hand that he was no longer chained to the death huntress. Good, they would need free hands.
Gathering himself up, he joined the others.
"The ******** going on?" he said blearily, checking that the damn phone still had a good charge in it. Thankfully, it did.
The last thing they needed here was monsters.

He did not particularly want to be here, but considering he had already consented...
There was already another student of Halloween here as Mengyao stepped forward, but he did not recognize her. Keeping his head held high, he tucked the fan into the sash at his waist and then lifted his grey streaked hands. There was a small shimmer, and the longbow appeared in his fingers, Mengyao holding it aloft, readying it into position. There appeared to be a great deal of hunters here, and while he would have preferred to have others take care of this little...mess...it seemed as though he would have to at least attempt it himself.

Petra woke up in a cold sweat to the sound of sirens and the flashing lights, forehead covered in a thin sheen of what could have easily been mistaken as dew. The life of a hunter was nothing new to her; odd hours became as reliable as they were unpredictable, the fact that their sleep would be interrupted and they would have to charge into a fight at a moment's notice not a new concept. Still, after the events of the night before, she had fared not much better than Rep had. Her sleep had been broken and restless, a vague dream of indescribable power plaguing her each time she closed her eyes, only to vanish almost immediately from her memory as she was startled awake.
Throwing back her sleeping bag, Petra was up in a heartbeat, almost welcoming the distraction from sleep. Somewhere in the middle of the night, the runic magic which had been keeping their hands bound together had dissipated; she already saw a bunch of others gathered around Killzone, who was barking orders.
Reaching for the silver pentagram around her neck, she jerked it off, and there was a thick black flash that seemed to absorb light, her mace appearing in one hand.

Damien Entering!the subtle tug of resistance was not enough to keep the eager hellhound from breaking through into the area that he visited since he arrived in this academy. The nightmarish land that showed what it was to dissapate for the first time, and the phantom creatures that waited here, waiting for something to happen. He had to wonder if they were still here, staring out into the distance. The thick brush and the humid air clung to his skin as the pup looked about the jungle in which they entered, there were others who went charging in, fangs sharpened and ready to take a bite out of the humans. he wouldn't blame them. However it wouldn't matter a licking candlestick if they could not get out, and the portal was important for that matter. it was their way out last time, it would be the same now, it NEEDED to be secured. "let no human get to the portal, ruff!" he barked up and went about sniffing at the ground, the smell of the fleshies were nearby. So he raised his boot and gave the structure a halfhearted kick. because that portal was HIS. ALL HIS. and if he had to pee on it, he will. Bloodlust Dante MY CHARACTER DAMIEN IS NOT IN PVP! Meixiang is entering~Once they had arrived everyone had immediatly split. Each heading off for wherever, for their own reasons. She wished them all safety before finally deciding on where she would be. The Jiang Shi would help secure their way home. It was one of many important things that they needed to accomplish and if they couldn't bunker down here no one would be going home. As she made her way through the jungle she noted how warm it was. The faint sensation of those not of Halloween lingering just on the edge of her senses. There were fellows here as well, not many as she would have liked but enough to get things started. Without stopping her full out run she skipped over rocks and vaulted off of a large rock to land a kick to the structure. Bring down it's defenses and secure. That's all that mattered right now. OOC MEIXIANG IS NOT IN PVP! My character is attacking this Zone! ((Enter Deryk)) Deryk was running full speed after the alarms went off. This week seriously sucked. A lot. On the plus side, since this was an invasion, he didn't have to worry TOO much about that morality crisis he had been experiencing. Get these kids out of the base and then he could figure out what the hell was going on with himself. He saw some coming from the jungle outpost, so he found himself running in that direction. And sure enough there were quite a few people around here. The hunter stopped and looked around, trying to figure out who he should try and fend off first. The fact that he still smelled like s**t might work to his advantage. OOC MY CHARACTER NAME HERE IS NOT IN PVP!
