Yeah, I couldn't think of a name for this at all...

Note to PrincessLeafra: I haven't abandoned you or Star Child. I mean to finish that RP with you, whatever direction it may take. I just don't want a misunderstanding about it in the future.

Fey of Silver Light

Gale is a 21 year old human male that has lost his way while exploring a forest on his own. He was there in search of if what he had seen 15 years ago, a magical orchard full of fruits not native to his area of the world. More importantly, a girl named ______ he had promised he would meet again. He wasn't sure if any of it were true, as he never saw the orchard again, but he had to try, just one more time...

To keep the Orchard Promise...

Twenty-year old Araima stood underneath the orchard's tree's. It was spring once again and the trees were blooming with small flowers. She questioned herself why she came. She came here everyday since that day. Not once had she seen that boy again. He would be a grown man now. She herself was nolonger a little girl, playing here.
She told herself that it was pointless to come. That a human wouldn't find this place a second time. Still she couldn't bring herself to break her side of the promise. She said she'd be waiting for him when he returned.

Gale was ready try again, he did everything he could to study the phenomena for many years. Everything just looked right, but also felt so right. If he did not find the orchard again, find her, he'd just lose all hope after that. He searched and searched until, successes.

He finally found it, it's path appearing before him. Just like before all those years ago. The orchard...

He raced down the path, going further and further. He was in the orchard! Now to find it, the tree that stood there tall above all others. Gale could see it in the distance and raced even faster for it, stumbling along the way but he didn't care!

Araima was sitting under the "father tree" as it was call. It was the first tree to be planted here. It's seed was used to plant this entire orchard long before she was born. Or so she was told.
It was then that she heard footsteps. She looked up in the direction it was coming from. She could see the person yet, but the foot falls seemed heavy and uneven.
She heart rate speed up as worry filled her. Had something happened at home. What that one of her brothers coming to find her for some reason? What reaon would they need to rush so? She got to her feet, looking down the pathway.
The person came into her line of sight and she gasped, not believing her eyes. He was not elven, but human. Could it really be him?

Gale continued to run, more so when he saw a figure nearby! Could it be, the girl? He stopped right in front of her and bent over to catch his breath.

"Excuse me, but is this...is this the Orchard? I'm looking for Rai, Rai, Raima...Araima! I'm looking for her." He looked up and blinked his eyes. Whoever this was, she was an elf! And was she ever a beautiful one...

He was surprised to see one, but he wasn't afraid of her one bit. She seemed welcoming if anything, just like Araima had been.

Araima stood in silence for a long moment, too shocked to speak. There was only one human she had ever met and gave her name to. It couldn't be anyone else.
"Gale?" she asked, a smile slowly lightly her face. "Is it really you?" she sputtered. She reached her hand up to wipe away sudden tears. Why was she crying? She was overjoyed to actually see him. She had been thinking she'd never see him again.

Gale managed to catch his breath in all the silence. He was thinking perhaps it was a bad idea to return, but that soon changed when the elf girl recognized him.

"So it is you, Raima. It's me alright, it's Gale!" She was smiling, yep, that was Araima, he may have forgotten she was even an elf, but he remembered that smile. He tilted his head though, once she began to cry.

"Why are do you cry? I'm sorry I didn't return sooner."

Laughing, Araima shook her head. "It's just good to see you again." She pushed a stray hair behind her point ear and tried to look indignant. It was hard too, when a smile kept creeping across her face.
"What took you so long?" she asked.

"Same here" Gale gave her a smile of his own, he could keep his eyes off her.

"I couldn't find it, it just kinda disappeared. I think there was a set time to go back and forth, guess I kept missing it." He answered sadly, how he wished he could had seen her sooner.

"I'm just so happy to see you again, you're all grown up now, huh?"

Araima smiled, and giggled. "Well, of course. It's been thirteen years. Seems I have to look up at you now." she pointed out.
He was a few inches taller then her and larger in build. She was slender and carried herself in a way that could only be considered graceful. She pushed her long pale blonde hair off her shoulder.
She looked at him. "I almost can't believe that you are the same person. How have you been?"

"Yeah, you were the taller one then, weren't you?" He chuckled, he remembered how she was the one picking the fruit for him to eat. While she was a blonde, he was a redhead in comparison. Short cut, nothing too fancy.

"I've been alright, I work in exploration now. I guess you left an impression on me." Gale joked.

Araima was surprised. "Really? Wow. I guess this must be your greatest discovery." she joked back. Her smile disappeared when she realized what she had said. "Oh! You won't tell anyone, right? There's a reason why we live seperate from humans. You could get in trouble." she warned. She looked around nervously to see if anyone had followed her.

"Of course not, call me greedy but you're too special to me." He answered her, he didn't think anyone would believe him if he told them that elves were real anyway. "Truth be told, I totally forgot you were an elf, but I won't tell anyone, promise." Gale touched the tip of her ear, he was curious if it were real. He noticed that her smile had disappeared though.

"Something wrong?"

Araima felt herself blush when he told her she was special to him. It only deepen when he touched her ear.
"Thank you." she said. She shook her head at his inquiry. "It's nothing. We're... overly cautious when it comes to humans. I don't know how the others will react to you if they came looking for me." she said. "I'd hate for anything to happen to you." she added, taking the hand by her ear in hers.

"I can understand that, humans wouldn't understand you, or worse." It was odd, if this was how Araima's people felt about humans like him, why did she befriend him. Was it childhood innocence?

He began to blush when she took his hands in hers. It was so soft to the touch, his probably felt so rough in comparison. His face saddened when she told him how she felt.

"Does that mean, I should leave?" Asked Gale, he wanted to stay with Araima. He was beginning to believe that he loved her. Everything about her was so far was just wonderful. He wanted to be with her for more than just a fleeting moment.
