Bio: Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Riley was born the sixth child out of eight, as well as the only boy. Until he was about thirteen, he lived happily with his beloved sisters and loving, while very much in love, parents. Sadly, though, all good things much come to an end. The summer he turned thirteen, his soldier of a father was killed in action overseas, breaking the young boy's heart. Having to get over not only the loss of a father, but a mentor and best friend, Riley turned to cooking, which he quickly became incredible at. By his sixteenth birthday, he had won four championships, twelve titles, and even two world records. Soon after he turned seventeen, however, tragedy once again struck. The third oldest girl, Olina, died in childbirth, once again shattering the only Appleton boy's heart. Too agonized to spend another day in Australia, his mother agreed to send him to school with his American cousin, Fortunado, a close friend from his childhood. But Riley never, in his wildest dreams, expected to come to America and find his favorite cousin...cross dressing?!?
