The hotel is kept within the area of a series of strong protective spells which few who are unwelcome have ever crossed. The climate, year round thanks to the magic involved on the property, ranges from just slightly chilly to mildly warm with only a few rain showers a month. The sun is rarely very strong, and off in the distance an odd wall of dark appears to block out the light from beyond...

The inside of the hotel is much larger than what it seems like it would be from the outside. There are 4 guest bedrooms(including the rooms slaves will stay in) with attached bathrooms. The lobby and the kitchen lead into each-other at the front of the hotel with all of the bedrooms towards the back.

The mountains are covered with a dense forest surrounding the hotel for miles. The forest is pretty, but gets dangerous the further out you venture. Most of the real danger is north, further away from civilization in the opposite direction from which most people who travel come from.
