 A relatively large home built not too far from the Amagi Inn, the Ak'Thias residence was made as a sample for the construction business that the family runs. Accordingly, there's a lot of room to go around. As part of national reconstruction efforts, both of Rednal's parents have been out on a number of projects, leaving the actual home in his care, and it's currently serving as a base slash dormitory for a number of agents of the Yatagarasu and is, in fact, their primary resting place in Inaba, though the higher-ranked agents, when around, usually make their own arrangements. It's also home to a very, very, very scary little girl... the basement is not a good place for other people to go.  Rednal Ak'Thias"So... frigging... tired..." Rednal muttered as he collapsed onto his bed. Blood was still seeping from out of his wounds, and cleaning the sheets was going to be a pain in the rear. He also ought to have known better than to just flop over like this, but his regen was still going. He'd somehow managed to stand up to everything the Shade had unleashed, surprising even himself with how far he'd been willing to go. Just like the last time... which meant it probably wasn't going to happen the next time one of those freaks showed up. He sighed heavily, then looked over to the side, where Yidhra was floating in mid-air and reading a Light Novel he'd picked up the other day. "Thanks for all your help today."Yidhra made a noise, sounding rather like Aselia. "...Heh."The Persona's mouth twitched slightly. She knew exactly what he was thinking. But still, it really was nice to see that it was all going as planned. He'd been working pretty hard, trying to get stronger, but he still had a long ways to go. I've got to get stronger... much, MUCH stronger. He clenched his fist and raised it up as his battered body slowly recovered. He'd managed to get home courtesy of the Power Ring, and he was going to be in bed most of tomorrow, but... He'd survived another nightmare, and he planned to do even better in the future. With, of course, the help of his true companion. I wonder if I can learn to manipulate my hair the way she does...Quote: Rednal has talked with Yidhra and raised his Social Link with her!

Rednal Ak'ThiasRednal sighed as he lay face-down on his bed, a set of ice packs cooling his back as he simply lay there and let Yidhra's magic run its course. He'd been pummeled so badly the night before that it wasn't at all easy to try and recover properly... well, all right, maybe it was easy. It just wasn't fast. He could recover from just about any wound, given time, and in this case he needed a whole lot of time. The biggest injuries were mostly healed by now, but he was planning to spend most of the day in bed anyway. Which was actually a bit of a disappointment, really. It was a nice, beautiful day, and he could have gone out on a date or something. Or gone to look for Kanade; she hadn't been home in days, and he was really starting to get worried about her. Sigh. So many things he wanted to do, and so few of them were actually possible right now.

 Even after all this time, she still had her key to the front door. She had been out on annother assignment for... Well, she hadn't really stopped to take note, but it had been a while.
Asuka was at long last, back in Inaba, about to resume her previous assignment, amoung other things of course. She turned the key and opened the door, she felt at home, despite her actual home being at the summoner's village, it was just something about this place.
She stepped through the door, closed and locked it behind her and slowly looked around. Asuka didn't see anyone around, and softly stepped into the living room.
"Is anyone home? It's Asuka, I'm back." She called.

There was a thumping sound, as of somebody rapidly running down the stairs, and Aselia skid to a stop in front of the entryway. White wings erupted out of her back as she launched herself forward and tackled Asuka to the floor before reaching down, grabbing the back of Asuka's head, and kissing her. Deeply. Tongues were involved. "Nn... Nn. Nn!" Aselia broke away for just a moment, then went right back for more after inhaling a great big breath. While normally monosyllabic, Aselia probably wouldn't have made much sense even if she was talking normally. Still, it probably wasn't going to be easy to misinterpret her feelings, because Aselia was delighted to see the other girl.

It would be the understatement of the century to say Asuka was surprised by the reception she received from her friend. They had been apart for long periods of time before, even still, Asuka had never gotten a welcome like this from Aselia.
The the shock alone didn't leave her any time to react, though, under reflex from years of Aselia's more... Standard greetings, she did manage to catch the other girl before they tumbled to the ground, wrapping her arms around her waist.
By the time she comprehended what was happening, she had already started to respond in kind.
Needless to say, Asuka wouldn't forget this greeting anytime soon.

Responding in kind was great encouragement, really. At the very least, it wasn't encouraging Aselia to stop her enthusiastic greeting, and her hands began to slide around... but in what may or may not have been an example of considerable self-control, Aselia sat up and pulled Asuka with her before hugging the other girl tightly and giving one more feather-light kiss. "Nn." she said, gently rubbing her head against Asuka's... soft torso. Her expression changed to inquisitive a moment later, though. "Nn?" Would Asuka be able to stick around this time?

Asuka had to get her breath back, her heart felt like it was going to jump out of her chest. She'd had close calls with demons that didn't leave her heart beating this fast. She placed a hand on her chest to help calm herself down...
After a few deep breaths, Asuka had settled. She lovingly rubbed the top of Aselia's head, and gave her a very heartfelt smile in response to her look.
"I'm back. The higher-up's said that as it stands, I'm here to stay." She said with a confident nod.
Asuka looked Aselia up and down briefly, before closing her eyes and smiling, pushing a few tears to the corner of her eyes. "I missed you."

"Nn!" With a smile as bright as the sun, Aselia flapped her wings a few times to bring both of them high enough into the air that they could be set back down on their feet. There was no telling when situations across Japan would require them to be mobilized, which meant it was important to enjoy the time you could have together. Which also meant...
Aselia tilted her head a few times, looking confused, then pointed to one of the house's bedrooms, then the television. Then she mimed doing a Hadouken. "Nn!" In case Asuka was wondering where the other major resident was... and if she remembered enough of Aselia's penchant for charades to try and interpret that...

Asuka watched her friends movements, and tilted her head, slightly confused at first, but then she remembered the finer details concerning their host and what he did. Putting two and two together, her expression to one of mild worry and sadness, "I guess Rednal is going to be late home, isn't he...?" She lowered her gaze.
She'd just arrived back in Inaba, and Rednal was off fighting somewhere...
Not the most ideal news.

"Nn." Aselia nodded. She pushed up a moment later, though, and pat Asuka's head. "Nn!" Despite some potential degree of danger, Aselia didn't seem very concerned about his safety, so it probably wasn't too dangerous of a situation... The girl mimed using some chopsticks to eat off of a plate a moment later. She might be expecting him home for dinner? If things didn't get drawn out, of course. It was hard to say how it would turn out... but more importantly, Asuka was finally home! Which meant the two of them needed to do something together.
Dinner, a bath, or...

Asuka smiled at Aselia's reassurance. Rednal was strong, and no doubt he'd gotten a lot stronger in the time she was away. Of course, Asuka had gotten stronger, too.
She blinked at Aselia's next action.
Dinner? Well... The sun was still rather high. There would be some time beforehand, surely. "Well..." Asuka began, looking down at her clothes and running a hand through her hair.
She hadn't really had a chance to change before she came back to Inaba, and had been in the same clothes for a couple of days. "I'm still a little dusty. Maybe I should take a bath, first?"

It was probably a good thing this wasn't an anime series, or there would have been an evil gleam of light in Aselia's eyes... the sure sign of somebody plotting something. Her fingers did wiggle a little bit, though, and the girl quickly began to head towards the bathroom. If Asuka felt like she needed to get clean, then Aselia would be certain she did. Every. Single. Inch. Fufufufufufufu.
Really, though. The recent break had been nice, but she still hadn't had much opportunity to relax, and Yuno always got this strange expression whenever Aselia tried to bathe with Rednal. It was just getting clean; what was the big deal?
Later...
"Nn!" A well-scrubbed Aselia said cheerfully.

Asuka flopped onto the couch, rubbing one of her shoulders. That was one of the more... Thorough baths she had had in recent memory. "I think you were a little rough on my shoulders, Aselia..."
Regardless, she let her head drop back, and let out a content sigh despite being a little sore now.
"Are the others still staying here, too?" She asked, referring to Kana and Yuno.

"Nn..." An unhappy expression flicked onto Aselia's face. Kana had, more or less, sort of run away without getting the permission of her local supervisor (Aselia) for sleeping somewhere else, and part of the girl's daily patrols had actually involved looking for Kanade. Towns were big, though, and finding one person wasn't easy. She'd heard the girl had been working at Junes, but... simply put, just going off on your own in an organization like the Yatagarasu without a darn good excuse could land you in heaps of trouble. Among other things, they worried about their employees being kidnapped; they might come across as a bit harsh at times with their rules, but they generally had very good reasons for the things they did.
Still, even that couldn't dampen Aselia's pleasure at seeing Asuka again, and she cheerfully began to massage Asuka's shoulders.
