Rules and how this is going to work -

1) To try and keep the numbers a little more fair only Order characters who are in the ORP currently can post here. If your character never showed up or left they cannot participate, sorry!

* Any and all Chaos aligned characters may post (Negaverse, DMC, corrupted cats) but to make sure this doesn't drag too long you've only got 48 hours from this post to join in.

* Eligible Order characters have 48 hours as well to make their first battle post and roll. If you do not get a post in before then you may still rp in the battle, but you cannot roll towards the outcome.

2) All regular shop rules apply, like no godmodding.

4) In your first post, please include an image of your character, so that we know what they look like!

3) Whenever you use an attack please include a quick OOC blurb about what it does so that the victim doesn't have to hunt the information. This is especially important if your attack has an AoE or occassional collateral damage that could possibly hit people in the area.

4) If your character is trying (through all the noise of the battle) to say something addressed at a large section of the group please put that section in bold font to make it easy to find.

5) We're not going to say that all characters have to behave, because it's IC for some characters not to. But please try to be OOCly respectful to each other.
~ Just because someone disagrees with you ICly it doesn't mean they hate you crying

6) To keep the rp from dragging it will only run for a few days. So get in and get your battle on ASAP, the thread may be closed at any time with minimal warning.

7 ) Any questions you have feel free to pm to this mule, Indubitably, Iris_virus, or Akina Tokuwa.

8 ) Be nice and have fun? More rules will be added if necessary.

Specific battle information:

1) While the amount of Order characters is capped, the Chaos characters are free to continue to join in at any time within the next 48 hours. If this becomes a problem where Order is greatly outnumbered the rule may be revised and there will be an annoucement.

2) Both sides are free to maim and kill disposables as long as it is done within reason. But I do not want to see any characters taking out mass amounts of people without getting an okay for it via pm. See below for an example of our opinion of 'reasonable'. If you absolutely NEED to kill more people make sure you pm us first to discuss it. Small scale youma are free to be slaughtered left and right though

You may kill:
- 1 disposable your own rank
or
- 2 disposables a rank below you
or
- 3 disposables two ranks below you
or
- 1 disposable a rank below you, and 1 two ranks below you.
Fourth stage characters are exempt of this ruling, just please use your heads guys!

3) Large youma may or may not join the battle at some point if mods feel they would be beneficial, in the meantime do not create one of your own.

4) Battle damage will be done and kept track in the form of a random number generation.
Senshi, Knights, Dark Mirrors, Negas, Corrupts
Rank 1 -
Generate a number 1-5
Rank 2
Generate a number 4-8
Rank 3
Generate a number 7-10
Rank 4
Generate a number 10-15

Chibis:
1. 1-4
2. 3-6
3. 5-8

Cats:
1-6

* You may roll for your character every hour.

* If you have multiple characters, you may roll for one order and one chaos character each hour.

* Each time you roll make sure you post whether it is for Chaos or Order. If you have characters on both sides your posts must be split up by faction.

* You're free to post rp posts much quicker then this! It's only the dice rolls that are limited.

The thing about parties was that, invariably, the people you neglected to invite, tended to find out about them, and then they tended to be pissed off.

While over one hundred senshi and knights had gathered together with only a few guardian cats on hand to shield them, the streets had continued to be patrolled by those of a darker alignment. It was only a matter of time before the patrol route of Chaos sensed something was amiss -- a familiar signature that was too large, and growing. Hiding an aura was difficult, especially when guardian cats were so deeply outnumbered by the senshi. Despite the best efforts of a few skilled cats, it was simply too much to keep hidden. The incident was reported immediately from one Chaos soldier to another before finally reaching General-King Zinkenite through General Howlite and Princess Ares through Vice Captain Leto.

"Sir. We have a situation."

After a brief discussion, General-King Zinkenite contacted the Dark Mirror Queen, herself. Their was plan was made. Eternal Sailor Leto and General Howlite summoned any soldiers of Chaos they could reach to their leader's call, and their troops were quickly organized.

The location was determined, entry and exit points assessed. Together, they knew they would succeed. A group of captains teleported in and out of military supply stores, returning with masks for their 'shock troops'. They were passed equally from the Dark Kingdom to the Mirror Court. For once, each group knew where the other would be, when, and why, and they would be all the more effective for it. They were assigned tasks and responsibilities.

A squad of officers found themselves the transporters of large mirrors, teleporting them to arrange for the easy escape of their allies. Volunteers, all of them.

From their own Meeting Hall, watching as officers, corrupt and dark senshi disappeared in various ways to their post, General Howlite turned her dark gaze to the bright stare of their strategist, and thought she caught the faint traces of a smile, hidden behind his dark mask.

"Are we ready, General?"

Her own grin was bold, and she touched the buttons that would activate her mask to hide it. "As we'll ever be, Sir."

When he touched her shoulder to teleport, her weapons were already in hand.

They reappeared, surrounded by the enemy, in the center of the meeting room. Zinkenite's eyes were closed, making timing, and trust, paramount. The smooth orbs in Howlite's hands were chucked the moment she felt Ordered energy, and she could see the General-King's own projectiles finding their scatter pattern throughout the room. None would be missed. A split-second after their appearance, the bombs exploded.

Howlite's caused a blinding flash that would effect its victims for the next ten seconds, as well as an equally disabling sound, leaving nothing but ringing in the ears that would serve as the signal for the ambush. Zinkenite's bombs sent a noxious smoke throughout the room, that shielded them and damaged their enemies.

Zinkenite's eyes were open now, and Howlite's had never been closed behind her protective mask. Almost instantaneously, Chaos began to stream into the room. From the roof access, the back door, the main entrance... Even from within the building itself. They were everywhere, full-face gas masks in place in a terrifying display.

She was still smiling as she ripped the starseed from the chest of a gasping senshi scout, planting a foot against their body and shoving it away from its glowing prize.

[General King Zink's Weapon - Smoke spheres providing a localized concussive blast -
- Base effect – The gas is so thick and noxious at this point that it can cause black outs in base level characters because they have such a hard time breathing. Eyes burn, throat burns, eyes water to the point they can’t see. –The concussive blast assists in knocking them over.
- Second Stage characters struggle as though they are having an asthmatic attack, they might vomit or struggle to stand for lack of oxygen and their accuracy is hindered – Concussive blast may knock them over or simply bring them to their knees
- Eternal - Eyes still watering, coughing is very likely but they are hindered but not ‘removed’ from the fight. Like breathing contaminated air and heavy smoke. – Concussive blast will stagger them, possible knock back.
- Other fourth stage characters are staggered, their eyes may water, and they might choke. They still have to fight to see through the smoke but they have the power to fight. – Concussive blast like a hard punch.

The concussive Impact affects anyone within a 2-foot rage of the Smoke Sphere, beyond that the impact is more jarring than dangerous.

General Howlite's Weapon -
General: Hooked to her grenadier belt are small bombs made of a sort of glowing, 'Negametal', slightly smaller than one's fist and shaped somewhat like innocuous pokeballs. When activated, they open to emit a blinding flash and stunning, concussive sound. Upon completion, they are recalled to Howlite's belt.

Effect: Instantaneous, duration of 10 seconds of deafening and blindness [Think seeing nothing but white, and hearing a loud ringing 'EEEEEE' sound for the next few seconds]. After 10 seconds, the effects fade, and sound and sight return at differing rates depending on the individual [power level, proximity, etc]. <--- Up to player, not me.

Friendly fire definitely possible! ]

---

It had been too long since the Dark Mirror Court had launched a full assault. In the past, Princess Ares had been quick to rush into battle, but that had been when her mission was to hurt, maim, and kill at the command of her now-dead Queen Nehelenia. Her new mission, and the mission of her Court, prevented Ares from giving a blanket kill order. She needed the bodies of those senshi. She needed them either corrupted, or, in unfortunate cases, dead -- but death was a last resort, not to be used lightly. The White Moon Senshi could not be blamed for their mistakes. They were under the curse of Serenity, just as she had once been. But now she could see the light. And if they couldn't? She would rip their eyelids off for them.

The plan was hatched quickly in the War Room of the Negaverse. Ares brought only Leto with her, her right hand, as she discussed battle mechanics. There were some dangers -- the numbers, for one. There was no telling how many of the White Moon princesses might be in attendance, and it was true that senshi magic, when used in tandem, could be devastating. Fortunately, the Dark Kingdom and Court had their own magical firepower.

No sooner had the plan been laid, and Ares was off with Leto, slipping through a mirror. They assembled all the active Dark Mirror ranks, primed them for the attack, and then moved to their stations. The concept was simple. Just as Ares could heave unconscious humans drained of energy through her mirrors without passing through herself, she could do the same with unpowered Negaverse agents. It required a certain trust -- it meant allowing the Dark Princess to know a civilian identity -- but the Negaverse had never been short on loyalty and sacrifice.

Thronged on either side by humans waiting to power up into their Negaverse selves, Ares grabbed the first two unceremoniously by the collar and began slinging bodies like hotcakes out of mirrorspace and into the broken bathroom of the meeting space -- a run down mess of a room overgrown and tarnished from being out of order for far too long. The mirrors were filthy with grime, almost blending in with the dirty tiles, and the first few humans who shot through the space would find their clothes stained.

Even though Ares herself did not enter the room, flashes of parallel energy sparked nearby, shrouded by a corrupted guardian cat, but not completely hidden. Requiem stood nearby, mirrored compact communicator in hand. "Zinkenite and Howlite have entered," she said.

Ares lifted her voice, encircled by soldiers of the Dark Mirror. "Masks on," she said. One by one, the senshi around her pulled googles over their eyes and gas masks over their mouths. Ares could spare them the effects of her own smoke -- the Dark Mirror at least, not the Negas -- but she could not protect them from Zinkenite's.

Requiem took another step toward Ares. "Green in 3... 2..." Ares pressed a palm against the mirror. "1."

In seconds, a buffet of dark parallel energy burst onto the scene, alerting every Order soldier in the building that they were not alone. From the depths of the building the whisper of footsteps, then the door to the back of the building flew open.

Standing there, flanked on all sides by soldiers of the Dark Mirror Court and the now-powered up Negaverse agents who had come through the mirror, was the very ruler whose death many had just been singing. Apparently, they would get their chance. "If you do not fight, you will not be harmed," Ares announced, voice raising above the crowd.

User Image

Then, without pausing, Ares spun in a circle, golden torch over her head, and her body became a column of smoke that exploded outward.

With a battle cry, the armies of Darkness surged into the room.

[ ARES SMOKE SCREEN: Eternal-level attack (not her princess attack!) that releases a smoke screen 25 feet around her on all sides, meaning that it likely just filled a significant portion of the room.

Effect: burning eyes, shortness of breath, hallucinations caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain. If you breathe in smoke, you will hallucinate -- the severity of it will just depend on your rank/how much you breathe in.
Duration: Two minutes -- after that time, hallucinations will end, but the breathing/eyesight problems will last longer.
Avoiding: Smoke rises so falling to the floor with help lessen, though not remove the effects. You can also run out of the attack, though that would include running out of the building, most likely. Covering mouth/nose/eyes will help, but not totally keep out the smoke. Wind-based magic and shielding attacks can completely block out the effects.
Rank Differences: Basic rank will find this attack largely incapacitating and will need to seek a means of avoiding the smoke to avoid possibly passing out. Intermediate rank will find it exceptionally difficult to fight in the smoke but will likely not become unconscious unless they are someone hit with it directly. Highest rank will find it a serious hindrance to battle but would still be able to find, albeit painful.
Notes: This attack will affect the Negaverse and Order-aligned anything. It will not effect the Dark Mirror. ))

(The agents of Chaos have descended upon the meeting! With the element of surprise on their side ALL Chaos agents are allowed one extra "bonus roll" in their first post entering the battle

It's actually a "generate a random number" game, to accomodate for power levels, so just do two posts. One should only say 'BONUS ROLL', and the other can contain your IC content, that way we can keep track of who has used theirs..))

Dark Mirror Senshi: You have been given an order by Ares to specifically gun for Pages, Squires, and Knights. Attack senshi if they attack you -- but remember! These are the people we want to convert. Stay on mission, try to change some minds.

Chariklo felt her palms sweating as she adjusted her mask and waited for the signal. And once that signal was given, she followed Ares with the light of utter conviction shining from her odd, sunset colored eyes. And when Ares sent out her own wall of smoke, Sailor Chariklo, Dark Mirror Senshi of Seagulls surged forward, screaming with the rest. For now, she kept her own magic in reserve, knowing that as it stood, it simply wasn't that strong. Not yet. But in the heat of battle, it could prove useful as far as a distraction perhaps.

With a savage grin, she charged what appeared to be one of the lower level knights, a Page, and lunged. She felt her elbow sink into the slight female's sternum, heard something crack wetly and left the Page where she lay on the floor. The girl was still alive, barely, but there was no way in hell she'd be fighting today. She wasn't a Senshi who could be saved from folly, so she simply didn't matter. Rolling back to her feet, she glanced around quickly for her own allies, wanting to make sure that if they needed her help, she would be able to provide it.

Leto's heart was racing a mile a minute as she took her position. Her hands were clenched at her side while she waited for the go-ahead, her eyes narrowed to slits under the gas mask that was strapped to her head.

When she got the green light, she burst into the meeting hall at Ares' side and the minute that Ares' smoke attack was set off, she took off into the fray. Immediately, as if it was second nature, her Blood Moon training came into play.

And as if she were a programmed machine, she went directly to the first Page she saw and raised her right arm, swinging it with all the force she could possibly muster. Her thick, metal bracer slammed into the Page's face, shattering her nose and splattering blood across the meeting hall floor. When the girl fell to the ground from the surprise impact, Leto kicked her in the ribs and continued on her way to find her next victim.

She had an awful lot of pent up rage to get out tonight, and the Knights of Order were her ******** target.

User ImageSh*t just got real!

Iris had separated herself from a majority of her team while trying to get to Kailash towards the edge of the room, towing along Sailor Irene and *********> for the ride. Various senshi and knights had been b*tching about all the pettiest things in the world and some of the more serious things when all of a sudden there was a dark pressure in the room.

The pressure itself was enough to suffocate the weaker senshi in the room, but to practically ensure the less experienced wouldn't forget this, the room was bombarded with smoke. Upon instinct, the blonde lashed out a hand to reach onto Irene's arm, to ensure that she didn't get knocked down or separated from her. She hissed out a quick "Sh*t" before clamping her mouth shut for a bit as smoke seemed to fill the room.

Her eyes stung quite harshly, but the eternal senshi had her pride and managed to hold any tears from falling down her cheek. She had to remain strong for her team.

Quickly, she barked out "Irene, Hygiea, Egeria, Eunomia, Go fer th'edges of th'room! We'll meet up there!" After such a loud outburst on her own part, she managed to get some pretty hefty smoke to sneak into her throat and lungs. Bending down, she forcefully coughed, trying to clear out the pollution from her body. It honestly wasn't helping, and her eyes were only watering even more now.

"...f*ck it..." she coughed out in a scratchy tone before uttering "Iris Rainbow Slicer!"

Her hand which had not been used to steady her teammate clamped into a fist and soon enough had a colorful ribbon of light illuminating a small portion of the smoke. She lashed it out briefly as if she were cracking a whip, but then allow it to lay limp towards her side.

It was hard to see, but maybe her teammates could make out the rainbow and follow it.

[Order Roll]

[Iris Rainbow Slicer - Iris summons a ribbon of light from her hand which she uses in a manner like a lasso. It emits colored light, and has the potential to burn things it touches with intense heat from the colored light. Super ranked attack and brightly colored (compared to her basic attack which is more pastel).]]

Before the whole room broke out with agents of Chaos streaming in, Kailash's attention was momentarily taken from Nysa's introductions and the impending doom that the presence of Sailor Iris - and companions - would bring upon him to the sweet beautiful smell of cigarette smoke. Someone was lighting one up in the room and it a wonderful smell indeed - and why he never thought to try and sneak a pack into his costume was beyond him really, though his usual managed to disappear magically when he transformed.

But he was unable to locate where the blissful scent emanated from when a really not enjoyable smoke filled the room, building up like a wall that hit him square in the chest. Even with him already against the wall, his body slammed against it further, knocking out the remaining breathe he had and filling it vile smoke. Kailash's eyes watered, tears beginning to stream down his cheeks as the vapors stung his eyes and his lungs, causing him to go into a coughing fit. Hunching over, his body slide diagonally off the wall until his side rested against the cool ground. The new lower position helped a little to ease the intruding smoke but with enough of it already in his lungs he still suffered from the effects from the amount he had initially inhaled.

"Holy.. ********..." He mumbled, eyes shut tightly as he rolled over so his forehead could rest on the floor. There were voices everywhere, new ones and screams - though out of pain or attack he couldn't really figure out. Some of them he wasn't sure if they were real with how distorted they sounded and inhuman. Either way, Kailash stayed on the floor, face against the ground and his arms around his middle from the pain that was already forming from coughing so much.

Years of smoking were not paying off right now.

Man, he hated this new job thing. Getting attacked? Not fun.

(She is in her kitty form.)

It all happened too sudden. At one moment the guardian cat was enjoying her time with other senshi and knights. Then suddenly, there was a flash of bright light and smoke everywhere. Cora couldn't do anything but couch and try to stay still, afraid of falling of the stage if tried to move. She tried to, she wanted to call out for her friends but she couldn't. She tried to offer helpful advices but this was impossible for her. The feline felt helpless. She felt guilty.

If only I would had focused better on the task that was given to me in the first place. This is my fault...

User ImageRemarque had yet to question Ares’ motives on this attack.

He had been silent when the plan had been explained and, despite his addiction to adrenaline, he was not particularly thrilled with the attack in general. He had a vague idea of what they were getting themselves into, and while he had no fear for himself, there were certain members he would have recommended stay behind. Not to mention how much more difficult this was going to make sweet talking all those Senshi into how wrong they were. He’d come up with some excuse to justify this attack later. Maybe after he figured out who was under that mask.

Remarque, arrogant as he was, assumed he knew everyone in the Dark Mirror Senshi, though to be met with a stranger—he assumed she must have been, unless someone had grown a few cup sizes and swapped out their old outfit just for this special occasion. He’d have been disappointed if some newbie had been dragged into this whole thing, but even through the smoke he could see she wasn’t entirely helpless.

Which meant he didn’t have to keep his eye on her. Mimistrobell, on the other hand…

He looked at the Senshi behind him even as he was cracking his knuckles. Though they had done some training, he was not in any way confident that she had picked up on the lessons, and wasn’t willing to let his hard work go to waste. It was, in a way, both painful and comforting when he decided that he’d rather keep his eye on her—which was hard enough to do given the apparatus he was now wearing, never mind the smoke.

As the sound of battle picked up, the fighter in him long to partake, even if that meant sabotaging whatever fickle relations he’d made with Senshi of the White Moon. Hell, maybe they’d be so disoriented by the smoke and mask that they wouldn’t even recognize him.

Not all hope was lost.

He refrained from charging right into the battle, but it wasn’t like he had to wait very long for it to come to him. A man was running towards him, some knight, either in an attempt to escape or strike one of their weaker links, but Remarque supposed it didn’t really matter. He couldn’t tell what power level he was with all the energy in the room, but he pulled his arm back and hurled a powerful blow at the man’s temple.

It was by no means lethal, though he’d never seen someone drop so fast. It didn’t take long for him to get the adrenaline rush he craved, though even through it all he managed to glance back at Mimistrobell to make sure she wasn't getting overwhelmed. He didn't say anything, unsure if she'd be able to hear him over the fighting, though gestured for her to stay close to him.

User ImageWolframite hadn't been on the scene as much as he used to, but he was on patrol with Bismuthite, and they had noticed the call when it came in. There was a meeting going on, and any Negaverse with a sense of duty was game for such a task. Blood was the best way to keep blades from getting rust, and in no time he materialized in the group, glaring about at the many faces of senshi he came across before, and countless others who would come to know the name of General Wolframite.

Grinning, he watched the world get swallowed in light and smoke, and soon took off, swinging massive, detailed blades that hacked and caught skin with their jagged edges. This was not a weapon designed to give pity or mercy. Wolframite lost that in the dark days of his capture.

[ ORDER ]

Okay, that was just rude.

The Squire of Chronos been sitting quietly for the majority of the meeting (unusual) and had spent the past several minutes entertaining himself observing the rest of the Order (not so unusual), but the last thing Celsus had really wanted was for the entirety to be interrupted by the arrival of...

...well, everyone, it seemed.

Not that it wasn't to be expected. Or, at least, Celsus amended, as he coughed and wheezed, holding a hand up to his face and staggering to the side, one fist clenched against a wall of the warehouse, it was to be expected of the Negaverse.

Trust them to want to invade their party and bring their own.

Celsus struggled to get the air back into his lungs, wondering if he was going to hack up a lung in the process, and blinked rapidly, attempting to get rid of the watery sensation that stemmed from the General-King's first attack. The Negaverse were all - conveniently - ensconced in gas masks, preventing them from the rather adverse effects of the smoke bombs, and barring downing a large glass of water, Celsus doubted his throat would feel much better anytime soon.

How inconvenient. Well, he thought, as he shook his head, trying to clear it (and not really being all that successful in the process), at least this would give him a chance to get his muscles moving, since for the past few weeks he'd been somewhat incognito, stuck in an endless loop of unproductiveness. It was unlike him, but it had been unavoidable in this case, what with the situation with Tolliver and everything. Celsus felt stiff and ill practiced, but he leapt forward with vigor all the same, a light grin on his face as he advanced towards the first member of Chaos he could get to.

"That's not very nice, you know," he admonished, and his voice came out a wheezing, hoarse sound that had him pause momentarily, hacking again. He swung around with a roundhouse kick to the Lieutenant's head, sending him staggering backwards (except he'd mostly missed in his attack, wobbling unsteadily) and Celsus danced back a few steps himself, coughing. He dropped to one knee, attempting to get air back into his lungs, and his vision swayed in and out, blackness swimming in front of him unpleasantly as nausea rose in his throat.

"We were having a nice little soiree here, and really, crashing it isn't all that polite."
