It was a pretty normal Tuesday: well, as far as normal for being held some-what captive at your own will inside a magical facility that defeated monsters that came out of the imagination of Humans that really just only propagated the problem being Humans and not monsters could be. Perfectly normal.
A certain Death Hunter lead was taking the exceptionally good weather - sunlight with a smattering of Insanity fog - to spend his time working an office that overlooked unfortunately a good portion of the training fields - though most Hunters by now knew never to do anything in that particular line of sight. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping - until they hit the barrier of the Island with a sharp BZZTTT - and-
- A cellphone on a particular Death Hunter lead's table buzzed loudly. Once, twice, and and then three times.
Silence as said solo occupant in the room picked up the cell phone and took a few moments longer to stare at the content: a few simple photo snapshots.
The cell phone went flying out the window.
*
Thanks to a few spare cell phones, the supply continuously being replenished on almost a daily basis, a few moments later would see a text message to most trainees, a smattering of Hunters, and really whomever was <******** available: recently with the onslaught of Insanity and the renewed actions of the Horsemen, pickings were becoming thinner and thinner. TEXT FROM CAELIUS 11:15 am. Room 201B. Mandatory debriefing for all non-dispatched Hunters. It was very possible that Caelius hated his life, but it was also very possible that he hated trainees a little more. And assuming that one was trying to be a smartass and explain that hatred was just a form of love, it meant that he really loved to see Hunters digging their own graves. OOC - All trainees/ new Hunters/ anyone not "on a mission already" are expected to arrive for the debriefing! Also it is currently 11:10 am - The sickness status effect has WORN OFF. Hunters are feeling much better today! The sun is shining, the skies are blue and everything is going perfect- oh s**t a cell phone text. sad

Sasha strolled into the room at approximately 11:12.
She took a seat and promptly started fussing with her cellphone. The less she had to interact with anyone, the better.

Deryk got the call. Well. Text. These mandatory meetings always had him a little wary. They never really ended up good. Ever. Fidgeting a bit, the made his way into room 201B at the designated time. It was right after he got better from that awful sickness too.
No time to rest.
There never really was.
Once he was in the classroom, he shot Caelius a nervous grin, then seated himself while he waited for things to begin.

Ami got the text and quietly slipped into the room. Not like she was doing anything anyways. She was close to the main building, so she slipped in two minutes before the proposed arrival time. She wouldn't dare be late.
She didn't say anything, just sat down in a chair and began reading through a rune log, comparing it to photos she'd taken of Junpei. Might as well have something to do.

The fear effects were gone by now but Saya couldn't forget the sensation quite yet. She had a bottle of water in her hand, nervousness also helping in her suddenly parched throat.
What was going on today?
She buried her face in her hands, telling herself to shape up before the meeting started. With a renewed expression, she reminded herself that she should get pumped up for missions. After all, it was a mission. Stepping into the room was a false smile pasted on her face, wondering if she'd see a familiar hunter or two. Not that they weren't all familiar but perhaps, a mission was easier with someone she talked to.

Rep checked his phone expecting something possibly interesting on twitter and instead found the text to attend a mandatory debriefing.
He may have sworn rather loudly.
Three and a half minutes later he arrived at the room, the backpack Allan gave him last time in tow, looking about as dismal as it was possible to look.
He sat down resignedly at his usual place at the table and waited for whatever doom lay ahead to materialise.

Harrison remembered how well the last mission had gone. He shut the cell phone silently, and went to change his shoes, get his jacket, and find Rep.
His stomach dropped out a little when he entered the room.
Allan was nowhere in sight. Sasha, however... Harrison's nails bit into his skin as he wrapped both hands into fists. He stayed glued to Rep's side, sitting down beside him in near-unison.

Bix had a very red nose. Very red. Flu symptoms equaled a lot of tissues and his schnoz was now chapped and tender. He cast a glance around the room but most people seemed quiet.
With a few acknowledging nods, he was taking a seat.

Ceres stares down at her cellphone as it made a familiar jingle, sighing once before snapping it shut. Oh yay a mission already? The last one sent the whole complex back a few years in their tissue and medical supplies.
Or so it felt.
She geared up though, quickly making her way into the meeting place. She had bags under her eyes from the sleepless nights of coughing fits, no fun at all. Thankfully it seemed she only coughed now and then, and last night she actually got a good nights sleep.
She nodded a hello to the other hunters, not knowing a majority of them, but she was naturally friendly so they got hellos anyways. She took a seat next, crossing her arms as she waited for whatever it was they were to be briefed on.

Clerise read the text, and hauled a**. Thankfully, she was feeling better this morning, so that damned flu thing had passed. Hopefully, she wouldn't be a ******** minipet this time. Who would have thought being a cat would be so strenuous? Clerise grinned as she grabbed Balthazar off the night stand, thinking that she wouldn't mind some honkin' huge knockers again, though. {[ Those came with cramps, sheila, remember? ]}But they also came with a lady Dwight. She just got a sigh in return. -- Konstantin dreaded the missions. They turned him into cats that never stopped partying, or into a girl, or some other fate. But he had signed up for this, and now he had to face the music.

It felt so good to be up and about again. Walking down the hall and not wishing the world would just hurry up and end? Priceless. Matter of fact--
Her phone buzzed. She checked it. Then she closed the cursed thing and ran. She might not have ran super fast, seeing as she had spent what seemed like forever rolling around in bed not dying, but she ran.
Sherry slipped into the room and took a seat.

A short, blonde teenager shuffled into the room a few seconds after Bix and took a seat beside him, his scarf pulled up over the lower half of his face. Looking rather tired, Gale idly twisted the cell phone in his gloved hands and remained just as silent as everyone else.

Sydney slipped into the room, headed for one of the chairs, and sat down, bringing out her phone to check the time. She wasn't late--at least that much was going her way.

With notifications still set to 'silent' as a result of the sickness and its accompanying headache, Mimsy very nearly missed the message. It was by chance that she caught the blinking notice out of the corner of her eye, and through begrudging resignation that this was her life now that she pulled herself out of bed to meet at their designated room. She took a place near Kostya, but didn't speak, busying herself with readjusting her phone notifications.

Michael, looking a bit annoyed and still fiddling with his phone, strolled into the room before glancing up briefly and deciding to sit down next to Sydney. He had been actually planning to get some training done today, to see if he could beat Princess Tower and get permission for the daggers, but well missions came first.
He tucked his phone away into his pocket, staring at the front for whenever they where going to start.
