This is the Raikage's office, where all ranks of shinobi come to report for their missions. Genin report here after leaving the Academy for their headband before they are allowed to go do any more training. The new Raikage has turned the office into a Library to fulfill her love of reading.
Koneko sat in her office filing papers for the day waiting for anything exciting to happen. While going through her paperwork she kept looking out the large window behind her. After a moment more of repeating herself over and over she finally gave up on trying to stay studious and got up from her chair and stood looking out the large window. The warmth of the sun that beamed into the room made her feel so at ease. She stood almost military like with her hands behind her back as she took in a deep breath scanning the village from the window.
She enjoyed the fact that she could keep an eye on her entire village from up here it made her feel like a mother in a sense to her entire village. Turning from the window for only a moment she looked at her long friend and family member Kurai. He was laying on his large soft pillow off to the far left of her office he looked so peaceful. Laughing slightly to herself he looked like a normal dog would just lounging around. Only if, she thought to herself, but then again why would she want her best friend to be anything other then what he was. He was one of her fellow shinobi and she enjoyed the fact that he had always been there for her through thick and thin.
Making her way back over to her desk she looked around the office, it all still felt so new with everything that happened before she was still getting used to being the Kage now. Placing her hand on the desk she felt the cool wood below her palm, it felt so good to be the Kage but it also was a bit scary. Shaking her head of the thought she remembered she had her husband to lean on now since he was her appointed adviser so it wasn't all that bad. Letting her mind wander she hadn't realized she was now fiddling with papers and apparently were folding the edges of the papers. She finally came back from her dream world after another few moments as she nervously began to flatten the pages hoping nobody would notice. Sitting back in her chair she pulled out a notebook from inside her desk and began to jot down notes and ideas that came to her mind as she sat and continued to organize her paperwork.
Kurai lay at the farthest left of the office on the giant pillow that Koneko had gotten him so he could just lounge about in the office. His eyes were closed but he could still hear the movement about the office. Hearing Koneko laugh to herself all he could do was twitch his ears a few time in a bit of annoyance. He loved Koneko like a brother loves his older sister. To him that is what she was and nothing was going to change that. As he lay there he listened to Koneko move about the office opening drawers and fiddling with the paperwork that needed to be done for the day.
His tail twitched a few times as he lay there. As he heard Koneko finally settle back down at her desk he perked his head up opening his eyes as he watched her pull a notebook out and began jotting down more things. Scoffing under his breath he stood up and stretched out yawning really big showing off his canine teeth. Stretching a bit more he finally stood up and began trotting around the office to get his daily exercise of trotting around the office a few times before going back to his pillow where he sat proud watching the front door to the office.

Aiden took in a breath as he stood outside the door of the raikage's office. His body seemed to be in constant motion as he shook with both excitement and his natural shyness towards anyone he hasn't met causing him to shiver in fear. He took in a deep breath and calmed himself before looking around the hallway. "okay don't worry" he told himself as Balto came up in his shirt. Aiden smiled and rubbed his partners head as knocked on the door of the raikages office, awaiting his chance to train with the raikage.

Koneko looked up from her paperwork after hearing a knock on her door. Looking over at Kurai she smiled excitedly thinking to herself that finally someone has come to visit her. She started to fidget in her seat waiting for the person to enter and then realized she had to tell them it was okay to enter. Giggling to herself she sat up in her seat clearing her throat. She didn't want to look like she had never had this job before she wanted to kinda pull of the all knowing vibe. she then decided to look a little more studious grabbing some paperwork she started fumbling with it as she then gave up and spoke keeping her eyes on the door. "Enter when ready."
She started to fidget in her seat some more as she started looking around. She then decided to stand up from her seat making her way over to the window. She really couldn't sit still for this she was excited and yet scared to mess up. After hearing what Kurai had to say she realized there wasn't much to worry about it was just a young boy and his pup. taking a deep breath she waited his entry standing next to the window looking towards the door.
Kurai sat staring at the door only to take his eyes off it to look at Koneko for a mere second. As he made eye contact with the door again he heard Koneko fidget with things on her desk, she had a lot on her mind it seemed like and that she probably was worried about making the wrong moves in front of this new person. His tail twitched a few times as he waited for the young child to enter. He could smell the pup he had tucked away in his jacket so knew that he was somewhat like Koneko that she would probably get along quite well with this one.
Kurai looked over at Koneko again Speaking through his mind since their bond was so strong that they were able to talk to each other with ease. 'This ones got a pup with him be gentle. hes a young one.' Kurai looked back at the door after saying that and watched and waited. He couldn't help but wonder what this child was like in person.

Malakai walked briskly into the room past the genin. "Parden young one, Pay me no mind." Finding the nearest comfortable chair he lounged in it resting his head against the back of it. "Not a damn thing, not a trace, complaint or even disturbance."Malakai had been hunting for the Saiketsu for nearly a week now, nonstop. Lifting his head some to his wife Koneko. "How went your week, love?"He spoke at a low tone knowing the Genin had business. Making sure that they all knew that his business took precedence over his own. He waited patiently for his lady to deal with her duties before acknowledging him.

Aiden turned to see the man walking past him as the raikage gave him the all good to walk in. He scanned the man to get a feel if he should be worried or just calm. As he heard him call the raikage "love" he couldn't help but chuckle silently realizing that this man was the mate of the raikage. He looked down at Balto whom crawled to the top of his head before entering the office he noted the large window behind her that make him break in a smile. Seeing the village that he called his home from this point made him happy that his clan was moved to kumogakure, Aiden would pull up a chair opposite to the man and said "Lady raikage i came to ask to be assigned to a jounin for training".

Looking to Malakai as he entered the office she smiled feeling a bit more calm knowing that he was here. She turned to the Genin and nodded a hello as she turned her attention back to Malakai for a moment hearing his words and nodding to them. After hearing him ask how her day was she gave the look of what do you think. She shook her head slightly as she looked at the Genin, she still didn't know the Genin's name and calling him kid was probably the worst idea. Turning her attention to her desk she began rummaging for his files. Finding the file in mere minutes, since the photo matched the child's face pretty spot on, she turned back to the Genin holding the file in hand. "I understand that." As she then looked down at the file reading the name clearly printed on the file. "My husband here is a Jounin, and I think if you asked nicely you could possibly have him be your teacher or mentor." She then turned to Kurai who had made his way over to the Genin and began to sniff him over.
She watched him as he circled him a few times then stopped and looked at her talking to her like he usually did. Nodding she spoke again. "As my friend here put it, you are of Lightning and Fire chakra elements. And since neither I nor my husband have said elements but Kurai here has at least one element and could possibly help you out when you need it. Just would have to go with him since you are still young and unable to hear him like i do." She then turned and placed the file back on the desk looking over to Malakai. "If there is nothing else that is needed of me as of right now you are free to go." She was still talking to the Genin but her eyes were on Malakai.
Kurai listened to Malakai as he entered the room flopping back into a nearby chair. Shaking his head he stood up looking the Genin over he stepped down off his large fluffy pillow walking slowly yet almost majestically over to the child sniffing him all over. Looking to Koneko he sneezed and then spoke to her throught their connection. 'He seems to be of the chakra elements of Fire and Lightning, nothing that you nor Malakai posses. I can train with him but This link we share I ain't as good talking to him so it would be more of a translator.' He then sat down next to the Genin his tail twitching a few times watching the room waiting to see what would happen if anything. He kinda hated the fact that he would need a way to talk to thiis boy some how. instead of always having to rely on Koneko to relay messages.

Hearing what she had to say caused his eyes to dart over to the boy. I hadn't put much thought into him as he passed by. But a student, he had only instructed medical practice before. Perhaps he would be able to take him to help track down the saiketsu. It was a thought, smelling them out using his blood might actually work. Thinking more on the matter he thought it best that he should learn some things before they would embark on such a journey. Looking over to the boy he nodded in his direction. "I would be happy to take you on. I may have some greater missions for you later. If you would give us a moment, I can catch up at the academy or dojo if you are eager to learn some techniques. Just let me know which." Turning his attention to Koneko with a slightly irritated look being volenteered for such things. He waited patiently for his new student to leave the room.
Leaving the room would prove to be impossible for the moment as a hooded figure stood in the doorway. Dark and looming her chakra presence strong she strode into the room. When she stepped into the light the face of a very pleased looking girl was to be seen. There was a dead bird in her mouth and her ears twitched. She would drop said bird on the desk bleeding onto a stack of paperwork and then smile brightly at the Raikage, continuing to look pleased with herself and her "gift"

Aiden would look over to the man and smile as if he was an innocent child despite the fact that he was going to make training interesting and fun. He looked over to the raikage and said to her "thank you" and introduced himself to the jounin. "i'm Aiden dracul". As he spoke about the training and about accepting him Aiden noticed Kurai and couldn't help but pet him as Balto jumped upon his back and barked happily before noticing the strange woman. As she walked across Aiden would stare at the bird and feel his stomach growl. "can i eat that"

Koneko looked to Malakai realizing that he was a bit annoyed at being dropped and told that he was going to have a student right after a long trip. She smirked slightly knowing that she was able to just tell him he had to do things and he would have to do as she said only cause she was the Raikage. Her thoughts were quickly changed when a young girl entered and dropped a bird onto the desk on top of papers. she placed her hand to her forehead rubbing her temples with her middle finger and thumb as she began to speak. "Thank you." As she picked up the bird not really sure what to do with it. She then pushed her chakra into the bird causing the bird to turn into a crystallized bird made out of blood. She then heard the Genin speak up about wanting to eat the bird. Tossing the bird to Malakai she laughed. "You really should eat something. A growing child needs his nutritional meals to grow up and become stronger. Can you take care of this, and put it with the rest of my gifts." She then looked to Kurai who had made his way back to the giant pillow in the farthest left corner of the office and laid back down without another word.
Kurai watched all the commotion and sniffed at the new girl in the room then trotted off back to the pillow where he laid back down curling up covering himself with his tail. Flattening his ears to the back of his head he almost disappeared behind the fluffiness of his tail. Kurai was already getting bored of the people in the room so he decided a nice snooze would do some good.

º• The young kunoichi was eager to begin her training. Still, it meant that a slight detour was in order to first procure her headband; to "officiate" matters, so to speak. Naturally, she found herself walking up those winding stairs to the Raikage's office, and gently rapped her knuckles against the door before entering. Her eyes immediately scanned the room, observing the succinct details of each individual. She took note of the young blonde who seemed to be in the same boat as she; a genin freshly plucked from the academy and thrust into the shinobi world. Of course, she was only speculating.
The young woman stood, hands folded neatly in front of her. She didn't want to drain too much time of what she assumed to be the elite of the village, so she would simply take what she needed and be on her merry way. In her usual fashion, Kasumi lowered her head as a sign of respect to her higher authority, and remained in such a way as she spoke. "Excuse me, Lady Raikage?" she asked calmly, eyes flickering up, "I'm sorry for interrupting, but I'm here to collect my headband so I may begin my training. If it's not too much of a bother, of course, I can always come back." She raised her head and looked to the Raikage with a warm, yet confident smile, patiently awaiting her response.
He sighed to himself as more people entered the office. It seemed as though he would not get a word with his wife this evening. No matter duty calls. Feeling a bit odd from this new girl who entered the room. She had an odd aura about her but at the same time seemed harmless enough. After seeing that she brought Koneko a dead creature as a gift he understood the custom. It was a bit more wild and untamed of a custom but she seemed to be sincere Hearing the young ones words he felt a bit worried. This new girl who entered gave that as a gift and no matter how messy or worthless it might have been, It was still a custom. Seeing Koneko turn it into a crystallized crimson bird and toss it to him he caught it but just barely. Going over to her desk he placed it on her stack of profiles."Would make a good paper weight." Opening one of the drawers he pulled out a headband for his new student. Looking over at the new students as well he simply grabbed two more. Walking out with the new student he looked at him for a moment before telling him. "Don't worry about it. We'll get you some food." Giving him his headband. Passing by the other two new students that entered the room he passed the two girls their headbands but paused for a moment noticing the one with a katana."Beautiful blade, Hope to see it used sometime soon." With that he took his leave from the office. Turning before he left facing Koneko giving a bit of a quick smirk.

The girls eyes lit up like a little girls, inquisitive and happy like she had been shown magic. For all intents and purposes, she in fact had! Easy to please she giggled, clapped her hands together and bounced as it was make into a blood crystal. "That will be more yummy now!" She said happily. It seemed she still had trouble articulating her thoughts a bit but she conveyed the message just fine. She could smell the blood in the crystal and all it did was make her hungry. So hungry that when she was given her headband by the red haired man, she bit at the plate a few times, the metal clinking on her canine teeth, showing off they were definitely that of a predators. She noticed one of the people were leaving and looked up to the nice lady that she had come to know was in charge. She marked in her mind that she did things with blood. "Do I get teacher too or do I hang out with you? People are busy busy, but you seem fun to be around. Sept doggy. Doggy sniffed me and I don't like doggies so much. They bite and chase. That one good doggy though. Didn't chase, but take nap. Can get behind naps. We should sleep together!" she said nodding sage-like despite the way her words came out. Though it was obvious she had no idea what she had just suggested in the presence of other people. '
