As these reflections use the exact same techniques as the enemy regardless of its type, they counter their respective target's attack completely, while repelling them in the process. However, upon impact, the reflections disperse back into water.

Though growing up she was considered a "tom-boy" playing with the boys her age, she was the kind of girl that would not only mind getting dirty, but prefer it over being clean. Bio: Kanji loved being silent in his life. Before he moved to the Hidden Mist, silence was his guardian at the Hidden Cloud silence was an enjoyment, but noises, screams, and other loud sounds made him angered until he thought death is silence.. In his home everyday, living in the Hidden Mist, there were menacing noises from two people in a house beside him for years, yells and bickering all the time. Finally when Kanji was 11 at night, taking a white cloth from his drawer covering his mouth, he sneaked into the stranger's home and murdered the two inside with a bloody kunai. In the process he took his cloth and placed it into his pocket as he battled also receiving a scar from his cheek to his jawbone on the other side(hidden). Once accomplished, he stashed the kunai inside his 15 year old brother's pillow. Kanji even took the time to put his brother's fingerprints on the handle. Living long without consequences, he enjoyed the peace for years and mourning from Kanji's parents of the older brother stole the silence for a month. Kanji's scar was never noticed by the covering on his mouth, but his emotion towards others became much different. He never liked publicity or being annoyed. So instead of being around anyone he started walking over to libraries, researching weapons, history, and scrolls. At the age of 15, he created two swords that would make no sound when he cut or pierced through objects. After practicing with the sword for so long he became fond of the weapon and its ability that he could bring the weapons with him wherever he goes. 17 years of age became strange to Kanji as he followed life when he obtained a scroll from a dark, peaceful forest under a root that was out of the ground. Clueless, he opened the scroll from a distance noticing an art picture of a white tiger. To be as careful as possible, Kanji took his sword out from his sheath and moved the blade over the scroll just in case of any traps. Unnaturally, the picture of that tiger shot into his blade traveling to Kanji's arm, to the rest of his body, back into the scroll. In shock, he grabbed the scroll, and tossed it back at the tree, walking away without letting his emotion come from his eyes. Once nighttime moved the day inside Kanji's home, he heard knocking on the window in his room. Trying to ignore moving to his bed the same tiger scroll shot out into his window towards his chest, phased through, and never left, changing him and his clothing with black marks. Feeling this, he pretended to forget everything that happened to him and rested for the night then living his life afterwards.

Description Of Sub-Main Weapon: Scorpion was the puppet body of Sasori when he was alive. When he inhabited it, it contained his 'core of living flesh' (生身の核, namami no kaku) in the left compartment in its chest.

On the right side of his chest compartment was a mechanism that could spin numerous chakra threads, which allowed Sasori to use his Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets. Its stomach contained a thick cable coiled around a pole (which was coated in Sasori's poison before his death), allowing the puppeteer to use it as a stinger and retract it if necessary. Attached to its back was a scroll holder, containing four scrolls that seem to serve as "ammunition", one of which Sasori used to store his puppets. Scorpion also has a pair of poles to the back of its hips, each equipped with five large blades (also drenched in poison) that could spin like propellers, and pipes running through each of its hands that could spew out intense fire or powerful jets of water.

After Sasori's death, Kankurō retrieved the puppet and made several modifications on it. During Kankurō's usage of the puppet, it was shown to have a Mechanical Light Shield Block installed into it. The left arm of the puppet is also able to extend. With this puppet, Kankurō can as well use the Red Secret Technique Machinery Triangles.

Name: Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets

By using the chakra threads on Scorpion to create hundreds more. To begin this technique, Sasori removes one summoning scroll from his back. He then opens his right chest compartment to emit more than a hundred chakra strings, which reach into the scroll. From the scroll, more than a hundred puppets wearing red cloaks emerge.

As even the most elite of puppeteers cannot control more than ten puppets a time (one per finger), this technique is proof of Sasori's superiority with regard to the Puppet Technique. Also, normally a puppet's movement is dependent on the will of the user, and as such there will be a time lag between the user's commands and the puppet's response. However, since these hundred puppets are directly connected to Sasori's core, there is no time lag between Sasori's will and the puppets' movements.

Sasori claimed that he had brought down an entire country with this technique. Many of the puppets however, were destroyed during Sasori's battle with Chiyo and Sakura Haruno, although they did manage to destroy some of Chiyo's White Secret Technique: The Chikamatsu Collection of Ten Puppets. While these one hundred puppets lacked teamwork, they apparently used sheer attrition and numbers to overwhelm their opponents. Even when they decrease in numbers they do not become less dangerous as it merely allows Sasori to focus more on the remaining puppets.

As with all of Sasori's puppets, all the weapons wielded are coated in his special poison, which would kill the victims after three days of painful paralysis.

Name: Puppet Performance: Skilful Achievement with a Human Body

Description: A puppet performance technique where chakra threads are attached to various spots on a person's body; the head, torso, both arms, and both legs. The person being manipulated gains the ability to not only use their own techniques, but the skills of the puppeteer as well.

The origins of this technique lie on the battlefield. When a puppeteer's puppets were all destroyed, they would begin using corpses. To perform this technique with a living person would normally require both parties to cooperate with each other. However, a highly skilled user can control the target by force if the person is severely weakened or damaged rendering them unable to resist.

Name: White Secret Technique: The Chikamatsu Collection of Ten Puppets

Description: These ten puppets were created by the inventor of the Puppet Technique, Monzaemon Chikamatsu. They later came into Chiyo's possession. To use the puppets, Chiyo first released them from their carrying scroll and then controlled each with a chakra string connected to one of her ten fingers. This ability to control ten puppets at once earned Chiyo great fame. They all wear matching white cloaks with high collars, and have Monzaemon's crest on their foreheads.

These puppets are very powerful, as Sasori claimed that there were rumours that Chiyo had taken down an entire castle with them. With this puppet collection it is literally possible to use "one puppet with each finger", each of them boasting a great amount of power. However, using all of their secret mechanisms demands extremely high class expertise and skill. The Chikamatsu Collection has terrifying prowess in taijutsu, ninjutsu, projectile weapons, and so on. Furthermore, as they can change their numbers by combining, the number of abilities they can show becomes even greater.

Description: It is a gunshot-like attack which uses Iron Sand hardened into minuscule grains, to attack simultaneously across a vast range. The bullets are so fast, that they are difficult to see. The moment the user has finished preparing the attack, evading it becomes extremely difficult. Using the repellent force of magnetism, the speed of the bullets is rapidly increased after they are shot. Furthermore, the user can also use an attack pattern where the Iron Sand bullets are shaped into sharp needles, increasing their ability to wound or kill the enemy. Since the Iron Sand has a magnetic force and is also drenched in poison, defending against this technique is almost impossible. This technique is especially threatening to puppet users, since the puppets can be rendered immobile if the sand gets lodged into their joints.

Description: A technique made by Kisuke from scratch entirely used only for Widow. With the chakra threads, Kisuke uses Widow's tail to wrap around his target and squeeze tightly injecting small amounts of poison from time to time. While keeping the target in one spot, Widow summons a large amount of Iron Sand from its mouth into the air as it takes its form into a large spear. Widow's mouth grabs the end of the spear and slams the other end into the ground as thousands of iron sand spears filled with poison rise from the ground immediately towards his target. When hitting target, the iron sand pierces the vital organs of the target with the poison which results in killing the target within minutes.

Description: This chakra shield can be installed in any puppet. A mechanism inside the puppet opens its arms into a couple of segments, through which the user radiates their chakra. The chakra spreads out like a thin film and turns into a protective sheet, blocking all physical attacks and some techniques. While the shield does block Iron Sand, it does not prevent it from seeping into the joints of the puppets, which leads them to being disabled. Chiyo installed one into her own arm and into the puppets of Sasori's parents. Kankurō later installed one into Sasori's puppet body.

Description: This technique gathers a great volume of Iron Sand and compresses it into a high-density shape. This greatly increases the hardness, creating a gigantic steel-like weapon in an instant. The weight and size of these shapes are so great, they can easily shatter bedrock and break through most defences with one hit.

Because the weapon is made out of Iron Sand, the shape can be whatever the user wants, and can even be changed during the fight. This allows the user to create the best weapon for the fight, by taking into account the opponent's abilities and the surrounding environment. The Giant Spear (巨大槍, Kyodaisō): by forming the Iron Sand into a triangular, spindle-shaped object (much like a pyramid) and tapering it into a sharp point at one end, the user creates a giant spear, which can extend rapidly to pierce an opponent or spin like a giant top.
The Giant Hammer (巨大鉄槌, Kyodai Tettsui): by forming the Iron Sand into a large rectangular shape, the area of contact is increased greatly, creating a giant, hard-to-evade hammer.

Description: This technique uses Iron Sand to create a gigantic sphere of branching spikes. The user first creates two masses of Iron Sand of opposing magnetic fields and then merges them together. This causes the magnetic forces to instantly increase and the repellent force created by the two opposing magnetic fields scatters the Iron Sand across a vast area.

The Iron Sand spreads in spikes that branch off irregularly, making it almost impossible to get a clear overview of what is happening. This also makes evading the spikes nearly impossible. Even if the opponent has managed to evade getting hit, the Iron Sand spikes will have filled the entire surroundings, cutting off any escape routes. With the opponent trapped, the user is free to attack in person.

With Sasori soaking the Iron Sand in his lethal poison, the technique is even deadlier, as one nick will bring fatal repercussions.

Description: The Puppet Technique is a unique ninjutsu fighting style; this technique uses chakra threads to control puppets like marionettes. Any number of chakra threads can be used to control a puppet, but users with more skill can use fewer strings per puppet. Both Chiyo and Sasori demonstrated the ability to control entire puppets perfectly using just one thread. While most puppeteers (傀儡使い, kugutsutsukai) would normally be able to control ten puppets at most (one per finger), Sasori's self-modification allowed him to control up to one hundred puppets at a time.

This technique has few weaknesses: according to Shino Aburame's observations during his fight against Kankurō, the Puppet Technique is a long range style, meaning that the puppeteers are weak against close range fighters. Since most puppeteer use his or her hands to manipulate the puppets, if their hands are disabled, then the technique can be neutralised. And because the puppet's movements are based on the mechanisms that were installed inside, interfering with said mechanisms can stall the puppet entirely.

This was demonstrated by Shino during his fight against Kankurō, where he used his bugs to infiltrate Crow's joints, rendering the puppet immobile, and then again by Sasori, who used the Third Kazekage's Iron Sand to stall Chiyo's mechanical Chakra shields. Also, while controlling the puppet, the user is wide open if the opponent bypasses the puppet. For this reason, puppeteers avoid hand to hand battle, relying almost exclusively on their puppets instead.

Another weakness is that a puppet's movement is dependent on the will of the user, and as such there will be a time lag between the user's commands and the puppet's response.

Sasori has managed to create innovative methods that can bypass such weaknesses, such as Hiruko, which is worn like a disguise, serving as armour and defending himself from attacks, and converting himself into a puppet, he can fight at close range without worrying about leaving himself wide open for a counter attack.

Kunai- long with the shuriken, is one of the most common ninja tools in the Naruto series. It is a black dagger designed for thrusting and stabbing, though it can still do some damage if thrown despite not being designed for it, and is about the length of one's hand.

Paper Bomb- Explosive tags are scraps of paper inscribed with a special writing, centring around the kanji for "explode" (爆, baku). Infused with chakra, they will explode after a set amount of time, remotely, or after being ignited by flame. Summoning: Ibuse (イブセ, Ibuse) is a venomous salamander and Kyou's signature summon. It was large enough for its summoner to stand on top of its head and when battling.
