Poke was so intent on her current task, that she almost didn't see the other minipet approach her. She saw movement out of the corner of her eye, head turning to see another shark scareon. Eyes widened momentarily, as it looked like a mirror image of herself, but there was something that wasn't there...it didn't move right. Nevertheless, the other scareon flashed her teeth and growled. "Give me those shards" She demanded. That got her full attention, and she bared her own fangs in turn. "Never!" She snarled. "They are mine, and no one else's!" "Are you that ******** stupid?!" The clone shouted back. "Those fragments wont make you any stronger, they'll just destroy you in the end. Turn you against everyone and everything you've ever hold dear. "SHUT UP!" She was on her feet, paws carrying her towards the other, teeth sinking into the clones ear as she bit down hard on the soft appendage. "Ack!" Poke felt her chin pushed upwards, her body falling backwards, and then pushed into the ground when the other jumped ontop of her. Snarling in her anger, her paws scratched at the clones forearms. This..clone of hers. It didn't understand a thing. It may of looked like her, but it was nothing like her. It knew nothing of her quest. "Don't get in my way! I must complete my quest, it's mine alone, and I wont let anyone stop me!" Before the clone could finish, her tail was being bitten, so she thrashed around managing to get her tail free, then slapped Poke again with it. Poke did not like getting bitchslapped, not one bit. In her anger she jumped at the other, trying to pin the clone and fasten her teeth around it's neck. This latest attack had sent Poke flying backwards, hitting the ground hard and momentarily stunning her. "I'm..not going to go..down so easily..." Gritting her teeth, she got up and stumbled back to her opponent. "I don't care what you say, I will kill you before you take my shards!" "I'm afraid you are" The clone said slowly, knowing that she had just about defeated Poke. With a grin, she stepped to the side, suddenly gripping the original scareon by her neck and biting down harshly. Poke struggled as much as she could, but she was tired..so weak. She could feel her conscious slipping away... Dimly she was aware of a scene, were two people held weapons and were fighting each other.
