When the wherhandlers had announced their intention to overthrow the weyrs and their unfair raking system, S'ton leaped at the chance to join them. FInally, someone who saw the sense of raking people based on ability, not the color of their companion's hide! His dragon had been looked down on far too long for being "just" a black. He would show the weyrs just what a black could do! So he and Revoth prowled through the weyr, looking for someone to take down. There weren't many dragons on the side of the revolution, so chances are any dragon he found would be fair game.

A young fourteen year old rider was telling adventerous stories to his frolicing silver dragon as it hopped around him playfully. "Noith, I'm glad we found each other," A'krun said to his dragon, pausing in his play to hug Noith about the neck. He'd been told by the higher ups in the Weyr to be careful with riders revolting against them, So he knew he might end up having to fight eventually.

Noith nudged his rider back and turned his head, crouching.
Someone's coming. he warned. A'krun went silent, stepping back so his silver could make himself a little more threatening. Who are you? Noith asked.

Soon S'ton and Revoth came across a young rider and his silver dragon. The revolutionist pair didn't recognize the others on their side, and were inclined to attack right away. But they were spotted before they got close enough, so the element of surprise was lost. Instead they strolled towards the silver and rider. S'ton was riding, but he shifted in his seat so he was ready to leap down at a moment's notice.
We're S'ton and Revoth, the black informed the silver, buying for time. Who are you?

Revoth snorted. Stuck-up youngster of a silver, thinking he knew everything. He didn't stop approaching, though he was careful not to look noticeably hostile. Why would we have no right? I'm a Malvren dragon and we're in a public place in Malvren. I have as much right as you to be here.

"You fancy metallics and your shiny hides always looks down on the littler dragons. The whers have the right idea!" he growled as he swung a punch at the other rider.
