 This is the south island of Nagi Island. Filled with marshes and very damp earth. One can get easily lost in the swamps, and even more lost on land if they aren't careful.

I failed in securing my options for this choice for myself, but I succeeded in verifying the Dark Age is still with us. ❞ Rain sighed when his feet went from solid ground to wet, damp, and murky ground. 'Tch... You gotta be kidding.' He thought. The air was thicker here which translated into the humidity of the air. Sighing, Rain found that closest to dry area he could find and took shelter underneath one of the trees. "So... " Rain said as he placed his hands into his intricate belted lab looking coat and began to kick the tree. Thinking about not wasting this time in simply sitting down when he could train a little before sleep. "What are your abilities?" He had a deduction, though it was more like a hypothesis about what the young woman had. But the young man, Rain didn't know much about other than his inability to speak.
As Rain waited for their abilities to be announced... or not announced, Rain decided to take his kicking to the next level. Walking back a little, Rain got himself some distance between himself and the tree before taking a couple steps forwards and launching into the air after tilting his leading foot. With an extra twist with his upper torso, head, hips, and the chakra control to increase the power, Rain smacked the tree with enough force that more than a few leaves began to fall from it's branches upon connection. 'Hm... That would send a few flying but... Not enough to snap a limb entirely.' He thought to himself shaking his head.

I failed in securing my options for this choice for myself, but I succeeded in verifying the Dark Age is still with us. ❞ As he continued to wait, Rain decided he'd continue his training so that he can continue to be of benefit for his team mates. Sticking with the style he was already working one, Rain wondered if with the strength he has now, if he can utilize his hands to amplify the methods of his kicking usage. Pulling his hands out of his pockets, Rain decided to put the strength he gained in the sparring grounds to the test. Taking a breather to prepare himself, Rain took a step forward and flipped onto his right hand and utilized the momentum and his hips to create the heavy 'thud' that now smacked up against the tree. After the kick, he used the same leg to push off from the tree and put him to be standing upright. 'If I can add this to being a combo... It would be very difficult for someone to combat me with my skill of flexibility. Or at least, with my range of it.' He thought to himself.

 Savos Hajime ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄ [Genin] [Bloodline: Meiton] [Konohagakure] Savos headed up behind Rain watching the forest intently and doing his best to create a map in his head for when he would have to navigate it. This swamp..it would be so easy to get lost in here perfect off in the distance he could make out odd beasts crawling along the trees. When Rain's question brought Savos's attention back back to him, Savos wondered whether or not he should actually say since these teammates could very easily become his enemies in a later test. Ehh I better just..it will make us more effective pulling out his notebook he wrote down: I am primarily a ninjutsu user with some knowledge of kenjutsu, and I posses the blood limit Meiton as well. While his team mates settled, gathered firewood or what have you, Rain would sit down and begin to meditate. Why not relapse on the current events and work on chakra? Not a bad combinations if you ask me!
First thing Rain thought about as he manipulated his delicate and accurate chakra reserves, was about the exam. He knew just about seven or ten of the artifacts could possibly be found. But if that seven or ten could be added with his team mates own knowledge then that should definitely help! But going throughout the entire world to find artifacts... That must be troublesome. Shaking his head, Rain would begin to work on the twelve hand-signs of jutsu making. As he did so, he reflected on each seal and what it did based on his memory of the teachings in the Academy. 'Rat. The first of the hand-seals taught to us. Utilized by some clans for specific jutsu. Ox. Usually utilized as a combinations in flux with other hand-seals. Tiger. Usually, associated with Katon jutsus. Rabbit and Dragon similar to Ox. Snake. Representing the possible usage of the Doton element or the usage of the products of earth. Horse, Bird, Boar, Dog all are similar to Dragon, Rabbit, and Ox. But, Ram is sometimes used for Clan specific jutsus. Opening his eyes, Rain felt less likely to be worn out. As if he has expanded reserves a little more.

I failed in securing my options for this choice for myself, but I succeeded in verifying the Dark Age is still with us. ❞ Looking up as the airplane was tossed to him, Rain smiled underneath the bandages and high rimmed coat. 'Smart boy. He doesn't just speak of his abilities. But his Kekkei Genkai. Meiton. That means dark release? What... abilities does it offer?' He thought to himself before speaking, "I am a Medic," Rain started off as, just like Savos, he didn't say what type of medic he was. "If you need help or are injured during our journey. I would advise you to come to me." Rain said as he looked to the pale pointy toothed woman for her... truthful lie to them as to what she was.

Just quick enough to hear Rain talking about himself being a medic. She assumed that they had got to the part already where they talked about their abilities. She eyed them both carefully. Rain didn't seem like one who was much of a fighter. His pale complexion made her think that he spent most of his time indoors. But then again, she also was very pale and she was all for fighting. So looks could be deceiving. But then he mentioned that he was a medic. So she was at the very least partly right. Even if she didn't know what kind of medic he was in specific. She smirked at the mention of healing and emerged from some bushes almost like she had come literally out of nowhere. " Having a medic on the team is always a good thing. But you won't need to worry about me. Nothing short of complete disembowelment or something of that nature will slow me down for long." She didn't explain how or why that was. The power of the white snake was just another one of those things she liked to keep to herself. A trump card if you will. She decided she could share at least a little bit of what she could do. Because while these people were her team mates right now, they could be her enemies in the next round for all she knew. " I'm primarily a Taijutsu type. But I also know some very powerful ninjutsu and also a little genjutsu. So, any idea where these artefacts might be?" She gave another toothy smile. Her unnaturally long and sharp fangs showing once more. Keeping a close eye on her sensor abilities. Because after all, the rules had mentioned that other teams may try to fight you and take your artefacts.

In truth Savos hadn't given them too much thought until now. Well it's obvious some of them are in water..ocean or maybe lakes.. but those are the easier ones and will most likely have a lot competition. What interests me is that some of the clues couldn't possible be on the island.. hmm Savos's back fell against a tree trunk from his face it was obvious he was lost in thought I wonder when they are going to tell us when we can start.. Pulling out his notebook Savos wrote down: I have some ideas but do either of you have any artifacts you want to go after in particular? and turned it for them to read. Such fun this team was going to be with. Each telling a the truth, yet deceitfully keeping them blind. He wondered though, how long that would last during a battle. Sure, they could keep holding back throughout the entire mission. But if they get in a heated battle, he wondered if they... or even he... will be able to keep his abilities from being shown.
When the question as to where they should shoot for first, Rain spoke, "Knowing human kind, we like taking the easy routes to victory. At the same time, there are those small percent of individuals who like to take the hard route. Those are actually the ones we need to be wary of and need to be taken care of. Because if these artifacts give us power, should our foes get more power, we may have some difficulties defeating them in the future."'Then again, that is if they figure out how to use the artifacts as well.'
Removing his satchel and fishing in it for a moment, he procured a small Academy book he had taken earlier. Showing the frontal page, Rain would point to the map and specifically to the Fire Country, "Since you both are from the Fire Country, it would probably be best to tackle the clues that speak about it and the area. With two heads knowing difference aspects of your village, maybe we can cover that area quicker, than going to the ones that may insinuate the water country. But... This is only thoughts." Rain said, as it was only an opinion in the matter. But with the rest of his team mates older, they may not wish to listen to a child; let alone one from a different country.

While pulling out his notebook he wrote down: Well as far as my village two seem obvious to me..number eight and number twelve. Personally I am intrigued by number eight if none of you have any you want to go after first. Pausing for a moment to crack his wrist Savos continued ..what about you Rika? Any ideas? he then turned the notebook around in a position so that both of them could read it. I hope we can head out soon I want to get a head start on the others.. She sighed softly and shrugged once asked what she thought on the matter. " I don't really mind where we go as long as you guys are pretty sure you know what the answer to the riddle is so we aren't just wasting time. That way we can be in and out as quickly as possible and avoid conflict with the other teams." Really she didn't mind fighting. In fact she loved it. But she was hesitant in case she came across Kreya's team. Nothing and no one could make her fight Kreya. She would slaughter each and every last Genin in these exams just to keep her safe if she had to.

He wrote: Well since the race seems to have begun to konoha it is then! My theory is number 12 is hidden in the sakura trees, and number eight is in the scared grounds of konoha. I'll be heading there first if you want to follow. After turning it around for them both to read Savos closed it, and slipped it back in his belt before trodding off back to the main part of the island. One seemed quite easy, but the second one didn't seem easy to him. In fact, he knows he isn't going to be of much help. Purity? Rain had utilized souls to gain the power he has gotten now. There is no way anything of purity will enable him to enter into it's depths to retain the strength it holds. Hopefully, the other two would have a better time at doing this particular clue.
