It was time for yet another attempt at a Firani Dragon. It had been a few weeks since her last and it was time that she took the initiative to kill again. She wanted that soul to prove that she was a strong dragon battler and that fear wasn't the running factor as to why she was losing. She didn't want to be known as a scaredy cat.
Finally, she made her way back to the same mountainside. Kaiatasel was large and loomed over her as she looked up at its majesty. She saw a few dragons leaving their roosts overhead, apparently they hadn't caught wind of her quite yet. She made her way up the mountainside like she had the time before. Her fears of fighting a Firani were growing stronger with every step she took. It was very nerve wracking going into a fight she knew wasn't going to come out in a likely win, but she knew she had to try.
That same roost came into view as her eyes narrowed and fists clenched. It was time to do this, only this time, the babies seemed to be gone and it was just the sleeping mother that had attacked her last time from above.
Kav crept up as quietly as she could and then suddenly summoned her vines, luckily not waking the sleeping dragon. Finally, a shrill scream came from her mouth as she whipped down as hard as she could upon the Firani, waking it instantly in an angry frenzy. The dragon instantly fired off a few balls of flame right for Kav's face. She dodged them all, realizing that her powerful whip didn't do as much damage as she initially thought it would.
It was time to run, once again, she couldn't take it. She was just too fearful of death to continue on. Maybe next time? Who knew...with that, she successfully ran away, even more down on herself than the first time she had.
