SPLASH.
Frigid ice water, dark, numbing to the touch assaulted everyone's senses seconds later, followed by a strange whoosh. It would take a second longer for them to realize that they were treading in moving water, and a second too late to realize what the loud thunderous noise was coming from below -
- Seconds later all minipets hurtled, forced by several tonnes of water, down what seemed like an infinite waterfall, pushed under the torrent, the only sound other than their odd little Fear heartbeats the rapid churning of water.
And yet, it did not hurt. In fact, the water felt natural: it did not suffocate nor drown, as if moving and breathing in it was second nature. There, hovering beneath the strange, glassy back water, below them, was a what seemed a glowing fortress, a castle made entirely out of white marble and stone. Red flags decorated the top of each tower, and the highest post of the tower glimmered in a brilliant yellow light.
The distance was however, still reasonably far, the path blocked by strange excuses of aquatic life: coral reeds shaped like distorted minipet skeletons, half-shaped bodies turning around to stare blankly at the intruders as they passed. There were some rock formations oddly resembling traffic lights, a skellovision kelp forest flickered oddly in the distance, singular eyeball fishes that blinked a certain neon colour swam past in this strange distorted reality.
And yet, no matter how far they swam, they did not seem to be getting any closer to the glimmering tower. OOC WELCOME TO THE VOID ZONE- It turned out you opened the door, which lead straight into a booby trap. Looks like that was the wrong combination after all... All status effects still CARRY OVER, except for the floating effect. There are also fragments here. Fragments, that is scattered everywhere in this area are crystal fragments. - If you KO during this area you just reappear back in this zone again at full health, but not without feeling unusual, as if someone had taken some part of you away, making you incomplete. Obtaining a fragment: You may try to grab a fragment, perhaps it is the only clue now. They hover by random objects, seemingly waiting for someone to claim them. - Roll a 100-sided dice IF trying for a fragment and match your dice roll below. You can only TRY three times. 1-20: A fragment hovers above a television set but as you half-hover, half-walk close to it, it sparkles and comes to life, electrocuting you. The fragment itself fades and disappears. 21- 40: A fragment seems to be half-merging with one of the oddly malformed minipets just floating in space. You make a grab for it, but not before the minipet's eyes snap to life and grabs you, attempting you drag you away. It gnashes unusual teeth at you, chatters in a strange and high shriek, and only with the greatest amount of effort do you finally extract the fragment from the minipet. You obtain ONE fragment. 41 - 60: You see a fragment surrounded by a patch of flower-liek coral, but upon nearing closer, the flowers emit a strange, toxic gas. You feel strange, lightheaded. And suddenly, everything makes sense. A voice calls to you whispering to you to remember your task a quest given to you and only you spanning centuries. You remember something else, hatred and betrayal: how someone you had trusted simply ignored your every word and plunged your world into further anarchy, bloodshed and confusion. A hatred consumes you and you pull away from the others. They would just betray you like they did in the past, you cannot put your trust in them. No, the fragments tell you so, they whisper to you, and understand you. They call to you, so tantalizingly close and yet... where are they? ((OOC: Anyone in this status effect can still engage in battle)) 61 - 80: A fragment blinks to life and you quickly grab on to it. Is it just your imagination or is it making a shrill screeching noise? 81 - 100: A fragment blinks to life and as you reach towards it, you the last thing you hear is a skull-rattling shriek as you dissipate.

Crashing down with a splash, Deryk took a few moments to recover from what just happened. When he did, he realized he was underwater. But he could still breathe. He knew it. He had ascended. He really was the one to save all of humanity, not that they really deserved it. Furthermore, he saw the fragments all over the place. "Robert!" he barked out, "The fragments. Bring me them. Gather up as many as you can."Nevermind the fact that he and Candace were bickering over him just now. He was going to correct Robert on calling him Dr. H but he had forgotten about that. Oh, he - she! - did not like this at all.
It was a rush, really; a sickening, heart-pounding rush, and Senga tried not to panic every single moment of it without ever accomplishing said task. After the waterfall spat them out, the wet dog surfaced, and quickly found that dog-paddling was not as hard as it looked. In fact, he seemed to float if he just stayed still. For a few minutes, that was all he did. Breathing through his snout, Senga stared with an owlish expression as one by one, the rest of the minipets tumbled down into the - was there a fortress underneath the water? Senga paddled around in a circle, whining in a high-pitched, feminine voice before curling his body forward and diving beneath the waves to get what he hoped was a closer look.
All that bobbed on the surface now was his waterlogged tail.
Yes, it was definitely a glowing fortress. Which begged the question, what the hell was it doing down there? Surfacing again, Senga sputtered and pounded the water with his paws uselessly for a few moments before realizing that he probably looked like a drowning dog and stopped, once again assuming his motionless, floating stature, only paddling once in awhile while he waited to see if any of his clan-members appeared again. Oh, Senga thought after a long moment of watching the waterfall, oh, Eris will not like this at ********!" The gender-swapped minipet nearly shouted in once-in-a-moon frustration (which was quite un-lady like), trying to shake himself out again, even though it was a useless attempt. Simmering, the wolf kicked his paws feebly and floated in the direction of the general crowd. "Hello? ... What the hell just happened?" Senga attempted skeptically to the other minipets falling down the waterfall now, his voice a tinkling and flighty feminine sort of sound which he decided was not very nice at all.
His eyes drifted to the strange, glowing shards and coral reeds that lined the area around them. Maybe he would explore them. Maybe. And then he remembered the flask and how well that had gone, and decided to wait until curiosity overtook him - herrr - again.Menu > Stats Senga : War ClanFaction: Horsemen.

Candace flailed, she twisted, she turned, she flipped and flopped until finally things calmed down. She looked frazzled, confused, and kind of really ******** annoyed. But at least things had settled down. She still didn't look too happy even by the lovely sight of all the fragments floating around. Even by the sight of 'the Doctor' being okay. She instinctively shook herself as if trying to rid her fur of the water, only getting more aggravated by the fact that she couldn't dry off..because she was still underwater. "I'm surprised you're counting on Robert, H." Candace purred, eyeing a one-eyed fish not too far off. Weird.But the pretty tower definitely had her attention. The trip to this new place was..disconcerting, to say the least. When Robert finally regained his bearings, he started searching frantically for Dr. H - and when he heard that glorious distorted voice that sounded nothing like the doctor but most definitely was the doctor, he sighed in relief. Then he was given an order, and he leapt at the chance to please the fox. "Yes, sir, anything you say, sir!" Maybe if he found the fragments, H would finally kiss him... yes, he would refuse to give H the fragments unless they got some alone time together. He grabbed a shard greedily and grinned. Robert was excited after his first find. This was going to be easy! He reached out for yet another shard, but instead of being able to collect it, he managed to get a lovely jolt of pain running through his canine body. All the fur stood up on end, and when the shard finally faded, Robert looked more like a pomeranian than a golden retriever. His hair was puffed up so huge, he just kind of floated off in a ball for a while. Robert was not going to let some weird, half-mutated minipet keep him from collecting shards for his luvr. He grabbed for the shard lodged in the face of a floating minipet, and yelped when it came to life and attacked him. The puff of canine wrestled with the mutant for quite some time, before a glorious pop was heard, and Robert skittered away victorious, with the shard in his paw. He was going to get TWO kisses from his beloved Dr. H. Or maybe one kiss.. and something more. Robert looked delightfully devious at the thought. "Oh daaaarling..." He was not exactly pleased about what exactly was going on.
He did not like being wet and he did not like this absurd floating business. Especially considering that no sooner than Gale had managed to wrap his head around what had just happened, making a leap for one of the fragments, than he realized that it was, in fact, half merged with some sort of...creature.

He didn't like this.
He didn't like this at all.
Anger seeped into him, fierce and overwhelming, and Gale gave a feral sort of snarl, snapping his teeth together. He pushed himself away from the rest of the group, despite the fact that he hadn't even been talking with anyone in the first place, and curled up on his own, rage roiling in his stomach.
It didn't matter, anyway. They didn't matter, since they were just going to stab him in the back as it was. Wasn't that what it was all about? Betrayal. They would betray him. Everyone did, eventually.

Azure was flushed, floating and following the moving water. Where are we going? I feel a bit dizzy already.....He could see there were another minis floating in the water as well, but no sign of familiar faces in them. They were transported by the water to an unknown direction, it was a long journey and Azure didn't know how long they had been in the water, he fall asleep without able to do anything. Well before he went to sleep, a thunderstorm like sound was heard, from the direction the water was moving towards. The sound got louder and louder as the they floated closer......... WATERFALLLLLLLLLLL!The Sunekosuri was surprised that the sound was actually come from a waterfall, the next moment, they were falling down. Azure didn't know how long it took in between, but finally he found the water become calm, once again. He looked around and realized that he is in water. It's interesting that he was able to breath without any difficulties, as if he was in the ground. COOL!From his position, he could see there was a sparkling building well beneath the water. TREASURE! "Silver Fox," he corrected Candace this time around. He wasn't H. He was the Silver Fox. In any case, he could see that Robert was well on his way to gathering up the fragments. Yes. Good. This was very good. "That sounds lovely," Deryk said in reply to the mist hunter while he began to swim towards the tower. He noticed they were apparently able to breathe underwater as well. Hm.. Well maybe he just exuded an aura that allowed such a thing. Yeah, that had to be it. He was the goddamn chosen one. He didn't care that his aura happened to also include other minis he wasn't quite as familiar with. Deryk's ears flicked towards Robert as he heard him speak up once more. The path to the castle was blocked by many interesting aquatic lives, as Azure commented. It was another brand-new experience for the curious little thing! Everything was new to him, he never visit underwater, since he can't breathe in water to begin with. He wandered in the path in a leisure manner, looking left and right as if he was amused by everything he saw in his blue eyes. Oh! There's a one-eye fish! It's looking at me!Azure tried to touch the fish with his paws while the fish turned around and swam away. He even chasedswam after the fish. "Hey! Wait for me! Where are you going?" Without the distraction of the fish, he could now see that this place was full of shinning crystal fragments. The fragments were as lovely as his eyes. He couldn't help but grab one of them...... GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!Azure immediately dropped the fragment and covered its ears. It was such a deafening shriek! Silver...fox? Candace blinked. "..Well...yes, I suppose you're definitely a silver fox all things considered." What the hell did him being a silver fox have to do with anything? And now that she listened...was he okay? His voice sounded off. That wasn't the same voice that whispered in her ear in ways that made her shudder and squirm. It was close..ish...but.. ...Maybe it was the fact that he was a minipet. But her voice was the same. And Robert's. And Bix's.. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she watched 'the Doctor', swimming closely alongside him. "I'm glad you agree.." He acted properly, except for the random declaration of being a silver fox. Yes, H. You like to bang younger women. Everyone knows that. Darling? Candace raised a brow, looking Robert's way as he returned with two shards. She snorted. "What a good puppy playing fetch." She muttered, rolling her eyes a bit. Two fragments. Way to go. Candace looked around, spotting a glittering fragment in a very lovely bed of coral. "Oh look!" Candace swam away to approach the fragment and grab it up only to meet with a surprise once she was close enough. She coughed and gagged, stumbling a bit in the water and shaking her head. The world spun and she felt like curling up until it stopped. What the hell...? A...a task.. Candace looked up again, eyes wide. Her gaze was set on 'the Doctor' and Robert. N..no. The doctor would never betray her. He..he'd never... Would he?She looked down at the fragment and then at the pair again. He would. He totally w--no don't ever doubt him he said not to ever dou--no.
