Since the day she had listened in on Amphi, she had felt....awkward. And confused, and in desperate need of answers without asking the two she had listened on.
It wasn't like she could go up to Shun and..Freya? Hel's sister and question them on it! She didn't know Freya and Shun was more of a new friend! That...
and some of the things they discussed...She was curious. Most had to do with a ghoul's body, like her own.
It was only natural for her to go to Roch to ask questions. She would've gone to Thana, but....something said Roch might give her more straight forward answers.
Er....So she stood at the door of the boil's room and knocked.

The door opened, and Riff held out her hands, demanding her usual toll of spookie to pass. "Riff," Roch said. "This ain't Halloween, quit askin' for treats." He was lounging on his bed, playing on his phone. "Sup, Amphi?" he asked with a grin. As long as there wasn't frosting, he figured he was good. He hoped.

Amphi instantly smiled at the small fairy, taking out a spooky from her small back she deemed necessary to bring with her to Roch's room.
"Hello Riff, and nonsense! Tis Halloween everyday and a pretty minipet derves a treat..." Amphi handed the spooky over, letting the fairy take it and disappear.
Then she hesitated before coming over to Roch, smiling at him. "Hello Roch." She cocked her head as he played with his phone and then just said what she needed to say. "Roch I need to ask you some questions...if You don't mind?"

He hesitated, then turned off his phone. "Yeah, alright," he said slowly. "C'mon and siddown," he added, moving so he was using the papasan as a couch. It was sort of made, at least. "What about?" he asked bluntly.

He blinked. He blinked again. He replayed the sentence in his head a couple of times. That term seemed funny, he decided. Waaaait--
Roch's face turned red. "Y'--um--y'mean like, um... sex?" he asked. "Cuz uh--"
Wait. "Where they jack did you hear that term, anyway?" he asked her, looking at her closely. "Y'been watchin' cheesy ScreeVee shows or somethin?"

She cocked her head, another word to test.
"Se..Sex?" She blinked, "What is that?" and what did it have to do with pleasuring a ghoul? "I heard it when listening to Freya and Shun! They said a lot of other things but....Do you know how to pleasure a ghoul Roch? What do you have to do? Can you show me?"
She beamed innocently at him. Expectant of all of the explanations...
Somewhere though, she remember a brief lesson about exploding pumpkins, one she never got finish cause well...she didn't pay much attention in the class.

He groaned. "Sex is where two people that love each other--not just as friends--like, serious boilfriend, ghoulfriend, or better yet, married--um, well, they do a lot of touchin' and kissin' and um... more," he said finally. "I guess you could call it pleasuring a ghoul, but Amphi, this is somethin' that you don't just ask people to do t'you--"
She'd just asked him to--jack, don't think about it, do NOT think about it.

"Oh." was all Amphi added. Intimacy, and it was for couples who were serious about each other?
That made sense! Shun and Mitsu were super close after all, and then er...she didn't know about Freya...but she assumed such a pretty ghoul would have a handsome boil! Maybe....
"Pleasuring a ghoul is kissing and touching?" She pursued her lips, "Is that why Shun said he was able to do it with his mouth and his fingers...and his...P...Pen..." She broke off, flushing at him.
"Kisses are very special!" Amphi nodded, beaming at him again. "Oh but...yes..." She wouldn't mention that she wouldn't mind kissing him...

.......... He'd kill the jacker. If Shun had blatantly talked about that-- "Amphi, were you in the bushes again?" he asked. Still, the candlewaxer had talked about stuff like that OUTSIDE-- His jaw tightened for a second before he forced himself to calm down.
"Yeah, okay, now take the specialness of kisses and multiply it by a hundred, or something," he told her. "Um..." He pondered how to put it. "Think about the most precious thing in the world to you," he started out finally. "It's so important that if it got hurt, or broke, or even used wrong, you'd be seriously heartbroken--or pissed over it. You got anything like that?"

"Well...Yes, It seemed a odd time to join the conversation so I just stayed in the bushes." Yes was all Amphi should've offered.
She didn't understand why his jaw clenched so tightly or why it mattered what Shun had said? She was just so curious.
"But that makes it...." Impossible to comprehend! she didn't have anything she treasured like that, save for friends. Oh but she did have her star pendant, something Undine had given her as a child that she had never taken off. The thought of losing it was dreadful.
"But...Why would...Sex be so special? Especially...Oh but what about Organisms? What are those?" Amphi continued to stare at Roch. "How come a girl does it when you touch a spot? does that mean I can do it? Does a guy do it to?"

"Organi--" He stopped, turning bright red as he realized what she was talking about. "Oh... um... those," he said. "Okay, lemme think for a moment," he told her, then after a moment of thought he reached out, summoning his guitar.
"Sex is um... well Gramps explained it like this," he told her slowly. "It's like playin' a guitar. You give me ANY type of guitar and I can play it. From the most expensive to the cheapest, bass, acoustic, electric, all the guitars. I can get some good music out of it no matter what it is, it feels good to me, feels good to the guitar, understand? But--" he said before she could interrupt, "then there's MY guitar."
He tuned it, then played a riff on the guitar that seemed to sneak right into the soul. It was surreal, and seemed to pulse in the air for a moment before fading away.
"That's cuz I know it better than I know any other guitar. Cuz I LOVE my guitar. I even celebrate it's birthday, I keep it sharp, I keep it tuned, everything you can do for a guitar, I do for it. Hell, she's even got a name." Then he paused, scratching the back of his head. "And what you're askin' about... think of that like the music," he said, still bright red. "Does that... make any sense?"

Oh Roch....he was turning super red? Should she be turning red? She wondered briefly if her faces wasn't already red.
"Okay..." She waited at he summoned Desiree, strumming her. Somehow, through his explanation, she got that guitars were ghouls. Symbolically right? She could catch that, books had a lot of symbolism. She blinked as Desiree sent a note that made her toes tingle, causing that blush to finally rise.
"So a ghoul...because she's been with her boilfriend long enough....Her boilfriend knows her well enough to...um...strum a spot that um....makes her happy. Just like...um..." Amphi blinked, "Maybe....Would it be better...to um...show me?" She frowned, "I'm still confused. I promise to stay super still if you find it?"
"I'm sorry, It just seems so...fascinating and I'd like to understand...." Perhaps Amphi thought, it hadn't been smart to ask a boil she liked so much. Somewhere, she briefly wondered if these questions should be reserved for adults or....or boilfriends...

He stared at her. Then he ran a hand over his face, before realizing something. "I'm gonna show you this book," he said, getting up and heading for his desk. He dug a thick textbook type book out of his desk. "Cuz I can't find the spot on you, Amphi, I can't even kiss you yet, not with how things are right now. But this is gonna show you the... technical stuff, okay?"
Then he stopped. "But before I show you that, I'm gonna say one thing. When you have sex, you're usin' your FEAR on one another. When you're two different species--say a monster and a reaper, y'gotta be SERIOUSLY careful, otherwise the reaper can mess up the monster's FEAR level. We're talkin' imbalance, possible infections, and even possible explosions, understand? THAT is one reason it's gotta be taken serious. There's stuff you can use to keep it from happening, but still," he said, sitting down on the bed next to her again. "It ain't just about feelin' good, okay?"

"A book???" Amphi blinked and then smiled, A book would be much better! She always understood things better when it was read or shown to her. Explantions almost helped...sometimes. "Oh..." She seemed a bit sad again, clearly by the fact that they couldn't do anything. And she had to respect Roch for that because he was being so strong while she was so indecisive. her heart beat fast in her chest, then slowly faded to an ache and she nodded at him. Curious about that feeling.
"Like when you eat another halloween creature, You can't do that after all." Thana had explained that too, it seemed that even attempting to share FEAR was dangerous. "It seems....scary." Amphi sat back, "Especially if it is causing explosions..." Suddenly she was very off put on the thought of Sex.
"I understand." She smiled up at him again, leaning over to study the book.
