Ezio had been making his way across the plains, glad to be done with the job he had been sent on. He knew better than to think of his job as enjoyable, but then he could feel a satisfaction in a mission well executed, and unlike some he at least granted a swift and relatively painless end, well as painless as he could. He had stopped though and found himself watching a winged soquili swooping and diving, looping and soaring over the planes. He had stood and watched till they had settled to the ground ahead of him. Shaking his head, having a pang of respect and envy at the areal acrobatics, wings would make his job so much simpler...
Having nothing more to watch he carried on walking, not knowing where she had landed beyond that it was in the general direction that he was walking in. He had no idea if he would run into her, but then he was returning home after a job so he wasn't as inclined to go and find the areal acrobat as he might usually have been. Then again as he walked his mind kept on replaying the scene over in his mind and without even realising it he had shifted direction just a little. Not a big change, small enough that he didn't even notice that he had done it, but now instead of passing near where the flyer had landed he was heading directly for it.
