Tika had unpacked her small satchel and had successfully set her self back up. The bright blue tarp was a little tasteless but the life of a hunter wasn't supposed to be a luxurious one. The Canadian teen knew this and tried her best to accept it. It would be nice when the dorms were fixed up back to how they were. It would also be nice when she could find out who looted some of her furniture. At least she still had a warm bed to lay in. Needless to say the teen rather not spend much time in her dorm room. Instead the teen found her self aimlessly wandering through the island. Of course she was careful knowing there were new threats to keep in mind after talking to Bix. She treaded lightly and let her head phones pump out various songs by the avalanches.Even her music wasn't enough to keep her mind off of how much things had changed. She couldn't help but think what would have happened if she stayed and helped protect this island. Her heart sank a little. Really she wasn't that special but it made her feel guilty. Tikaanis found her self with her back pressed up to the wall and arms firmly folded across her chest deep in thought. It was only when Atti called did she lift her head a little. Don't be so gloom.Tikaanis actually smiled at that.

A soft thump thump thump would have been heard by the other woman had she not had music pumping in her ears, well maybe not even then. Even if she couldn't hear the sound though, in the distance she would soon make out the form of a woman wearing a bright blue sports bra and black sweat pants. She was panting but keeping up a pretty normal pace, jogging with invisible music in her own ears. (She forgot her music player)
Ceres had decided that she really need to work more at staying in shape, so she tried to take a afternoon jog once every day... usually ended up being every other day.
She was so out of shape.
By the time she reached the other woman, she had to stop close by and grab her breath. Hands on her legs, she bent towards the ground panting a little. Perhaps pressed herself a bit too hard?
No such thing.
She didnt even bother to argue.

Tikaanis did not hear Ceres jogging. It wasn't until she was close enough that the tan teen actually noticed her. Amused and a little concerned at the same the teen offered a small smile. She was not sure if Ceres had yet noticed her standing there so Tika spoke up. "You look out of breath. Maybe you could do with a drink of water? Do you have a bottle on you?" Tikaanis sincerely hoped that this woman had a bottle on her because she certainly did not. Her outing was not to get in shape but to explore. Taking water seemed counter productive until now. "My names Tikaanis by the way. Mist division trainee at your service." She took a breath, "I'm afraid we've not met before."

"Holycrap!" She cried out, jumping to the side while her head turned so fast that it's a wonder she did not get a crick. The other had just scared her THAT much.
Holding her arms up, preparing for some sort of sneak attack, her eyes finally settled on the others form. She felt her shoulders lower slightly as she saw it was another hunter and not something that had somehow wormed its way into deus. Maybe Ceres was just jumpy?
Or she was concentrating so hard on jogging that she totally was not paying attention to anything else.
Lowering her stance she stood there feeling her face turn warm. Oh yeah she just embarrassed herself to this mist huntress. "Nice to meet you Tikaanis, i dont think we have met before, no." Racing heart or not that did not stop her from taking that last step forward and offer a hand to the other. "Ceres, Moon trainee. I do have a water bottle hooked on to my belt." Yes she put a belt on while running, Takeru was in belt buckle form and this pair of pants did not have pockets... so she improvised. She was not going for fashion anyways. Shifting a little one would see the little black case hanging off her hip, holding a filled bottle.
She did make a grab at it, suddenly thirsty.

The other hunter jumped to the side which actually made Tikaanis look to her own side and jump a little. There was nothing there which made the teen chuckle a little. "Don't blame you for being jumpy with what I've heard whats been going around here." Atti had some how become summoned to her hands in the process of her jumping. The teen smiled and unsummoned him back to his charm form on her head phones. You shouldn't be so quick to summon me. Jumpy humans.Atti was ignored. Seeing Ceres go for the water pleased Tikaanis. She'd hate to see the girl get dehydrated like she'd seen some runners get. Being well hydrated was important if one was going to exercise, at least to Tikaanis it was. "Moon hunter hmm ? Thats pretty nifty." Small talk was small. Tikaanis tapped her figure to her chin trying to strike up some more conversation, " Would you mind maybe if I was to run with you? I think I can manage in this." She motioned to her outfit. Tikaanis wasn't really wearing something that could be deemed as exercise clothing but it wasn't something overly fancy either. She could jog just fine.

"As long as you don't mind messing up that outfit, i don't see why not!" She gave a friendly smile and took a step off the pathway to give the other girl some room. Ceres was friendly to everyone she just meets... as long as they returned the favor. If not, well she could be cranky like the rest of them.
"Though i only have one water bottle, unless you have no qualms sharing? We could pause and find somewhere to fill it if it runs out." Warning Tika, Ceres was working on building up her stamina. So while she did not run that fast, she could run for a while even if she complained.

Tikaanis beamed.
"I don't think it matters. Not like theres any place to be to be seen in it any ways." Her tone was matter of fact.
She was reminded of water. Ironic since she'd been concerned about Ceres health with water earlier. Tikaanis had no water on her but she was happy to hear that Ceres didn't mind sharing.
"I don't mind sharing at all. I mean as long as you dont. As far as I know I'm healthy. No itchy throat I mean."

The woman felt a smile creep up at the mention of not being ill. Nice of the other to be concerned about such things. "Dont worry i dont have any mysterious diseases that i know of at the moment." She shook the water bottle, almost mockingly. "Its not even Joy infused, cross my heart on that."
Was Tika around for the incident in december? Where they were all pretty much high constantly due to the water systems?
Nodding once she started to jog again, waiting to make sure the other woman was with her too. Ceres did not want her muscles to start to seize up from stopping, they already felt a little stiff. "So.. Tikaanis, i hate to be forward but do you possibly have a nickname?" Her name was sort of a mouthful.

Lilwolfpard IAMSOSORRY! Please feel free to beat me over the head next time I take for ever to tag back "Joy fused?" Tikaanis couldn't help but semi smile at that. She wasn't sure what Ceres meant but she smiled all the same. Tikaanis had missed the events at Christmas. By then, she'd already been else where. The teen took a sip of water. "OH. Yeah. Sorry bout that. Yeah uh. Tika is what a lot of people call me," She rubbed the back of her head. Honestly, she wasn't sure what her parents were thinking giving her such a name like Tikaanis. Her brother had gotten the more normal name. Victor. Part of Tika was jealous over that. "Y-yeah Tika is just fine. Any ways ready to run?" She gave Ceres a friendly but competitive smile.

"Tika then." She nodded at the other girl a few times, instinctively switching her pace to match the speed that the other was going, She did not want to be too fast or too slow you know! "Tikaanis is a pretty name at least, if a mouthful." She grinned broadly, her words becoming labored as she tried to save her breath for the paces they were currently going through. Though the prospect of a challenge REALLY brought a skip to her step. Oh ho? The raven haired woman looked towards the other for a moment, before mentally settling on something. "Catch me IF you can." She bolted forward. Chobi_Chocobo HEY did you want to roll dice to see this work? XD to see who wins like. We each roll 1 d10 for three rounds, and at the end the highest total wins?
