Bio: Once upon a time, Tatsuya Suoh, the leader of the Seven Sisters Persona-User squad was possessed by shadows force-fed to him by his former partner (Simon Kongo aka Naoya Todo) and the resulting fusion of a Fool-persona-user and shadows spawned the wretched being known as Hetero the Despondent One. Unable to master his new power and all the voices inside of his head, his mind broke and a dominant personality emerged from amongst this gathered shadows...this being that of former Yasogami High Student Hajime Maekawa. Believing himself to have once been Hajime, he played the role for some time, but when Hajime's goals proved to contradict those of Simon Kongo and their master, his Black Messengers became opposed to their efforts, kidnapping those who would soon be drawn into the TV to ensure their shadows were not defeated by the Investigation Team. When their efforts failed, Hetero was forced to confront Soji Seta and his squad directly, and though he managed to kill each and every one of them, Soji awoke to his fused power with Izanagi and revived his friends, then banished the dark influence and shadows from the body of Tatsuya Suoh.

Hetero as he had existed died that day...

...But when the shadows which had possessed the body of Tatsuya Suoh were cast out of his body and the dark influence destroyed, the shadows themselves endured. Crawling back together, they gathered strength and all the shadows of the Data Dungeon World were innately drawn to them...forming together, mingling, becoming something far more sinister, something of the shadows themselves. Stronger, inhuman, its dominant personality is an incarnation of malice and the ambitions of Hetero without the conscience and humanity that limited his form. He is something new...something wicked...and with his hatred renewed, he sets out to wreak his vengeance upon those who thwarted him the first...

Personality: Suigetsu is loud, proud, and in charge with his life. He's usually fairly cheery, smiling most of the time. However, underneath his friendly demeanour lies a fountain of agression, and if someone challenges him to a fight, he's more than happy to oblige. Easygoing enough as a person, but god help you if you try to fight him. Surprisingly optimistic in otherwise grim situations.
Bio: Suigetsu had a rather...unpleasant life. His father was Abusive, and went through several different wives over a long course of time. He was the younger of two boys, though he was only half-related to his other brother. Growing up, his older brother taught him a lot of things over the years, and acted much more like a father than his real dad ever did. However, one day his father and his brother got in a big argument, and it lead to...less than favorable resolutions. His father got too riled up, and his brother ended up in the hospital with serious injuries. However, there was Karma in the situation, as his father was imprisoned for his actions, and he was sent to live with his mother in a small town called Inaba. However, as his brother was transferred, and close to recovering, a certain little incident with an unknown supernaturally powered figure caused his brother to be killed in the chaos of the hospital. However, despite his brothers untimely passing, Suigetsu didn't seem to be too bothered by the scenario, merely grinning and taking on a 's**t happens' kind of feel to it. I mean, it's not like it could have been stopped.

After a while from his brother's demise though, during one particular late night excursion, Suigetsu found himself in the Dark hour. As he moved about though a thug in his confusion tried to mug him, but then a mysterious light came over Suigetsu, from an unknown source. With the light came power, and with it, the thug was defeated almost immediately, and messily. Suigetsu was rather impressed at his newfound power, if not bothered. He grew curious, and to this day wonders both what has given him this power....and what he would do with it.. Be a Hero of Justice? Try to get revenge on his brother's killer? Just have fun? Eh. He'd figure it out.

Personality: Itachi is an avid sportsman, and enjoys competition and challenges. He hates those who act superior based on status, yet has a strong appreciation for people who have superior talent. Thus, to most people he just seems like an energetic working man, though perhaps with a chip on his shoulder towards the privileged.
Bio: 'Bullshit'. It was that thought that marked Itachi's change from ordinary high school student, to someone who'd been cast off by the discord of society. The student of Okina Middle School had always maintained average grades, and he was fairly well liked, but more than anything he was the well known captain of the Basketball team. For a few years he'd gathered together some guys with real talent, and their team had made it to the national tournament, earning the local schools prestige. With a real possibility of being scouted by a High School with a strong team, he had his eyes set on the school of his dreams. A potential scholarship, and matching grades, allowed him to feel easy as the end of his childhood approached.

However, the end was much more jarring than he thought. When he was finally contacted by the school, they revealed that they were near capacity, and there was one other student he had to compete with; their exam scores were nearly identical, but while he would be able to come if they offered him the scholarship, the other guy was the son of a PTA board member, or some such nonsense. Deciding to appease their own circle of parents and teachers, the school rescinded the thought of a scholarship and any chance of creating their own large basketball team, and Itachi was unanimously shut out. Pissed off at the way he'd been passed over for someone with connections, Itachi fell back to Okina High School, but the resentment he had didn't ebb away with time; and although he hated the people involved, he did his best to join the team in Okina, and quickly became a staple of their low-caliber team. His only joy was beating down the local Yasogami team whenever they worked up the guts to challenge them, and the occasional tough victories that made them seem like a mid-level team. His teammates, who were so happy, only caused him to become more bitter when he thought about his old teammates and the way they seemed weak by comparison. Fed up with it all, Itachi began to study relentlessly and his grades improved drastically, as he aimed to graduate early to leave the disgusting place.

Two years later, in the Fall of 2011, Itachi was deeply rooted in his final exams when the biggest shock came; thanks to the recent arrest of Mitsuo Kubo, the school was sanctioned for "Being an environment where students were corrupted into criminals", and lost a lot of money. The first target of school cutbacks ended up being clubs, and their lackluster club, the one that Itachi had single handedly put together, met it's unfortunate end. Once again he felt his hatred seething inside of him, and this time he pointed his daggers of agony at plenty around him; Tea Clubs for privileged young girls to sit on their asses, and anything else that remained while his hard working crew was torn apart. Although he managed to graduate early just as planned, Itachi had been irreparably damaged by the experience. He entered the Police Academy, which required the better part of a year to complete, and received his badge recently. Despite his exemplary skills however, he watched several officers who had family in the force graduate early, cops who couldn't compare to him at the job. With very little to support his spirit...basketball, his job...Itachi felt an emptiness that continued to egg at him, a fear that he might never fight off. He feared that no matter what, his life would be ruined again by those who were given free passes in life, and desired to ruin them so that he could protect his own precious things.

Although he lacked the honor of being anyone's elder, or the respect of being a great talent, Itachi was at last given a chance by the strangest of places; his television, where Orochi-Hetero drew him in, and ensnared his heart with promises of a world where you could do what you want, and talent would overrule society. He joined the Messengers, who gave him a way to escape his fear through turning it against those he viewed as enemies, and in return offered them another member of their growing little network. To strike his foes, and watch them bark and threaten, never realizing that every strike killed them twice...that a poison, like his own talent, was something they couldn't see surpassing their own defenses, until it was too late. For those reasons he received his monicker, and has since adapted to it as if it were always his personality...when perhaps in truth, it's been the Messenger's poison that was slowly flowing into his veins.

Bio: Joshua has rarely been a normal kid, having been rather forward with his way of being. From junior high on, the boy has been a rather sharp contrast to several of the others, openly doing things most of which feared to tread. Knitting, hair styling, cheerleading, taking pictures of the boys in the locker rooms and making a collection to show off, the usual. Joshua's parents seem to have accepted his outright fabulousness. What exactly his ambitions or intentions are at any given time is a secret known only to his own mind...and to some degree, his master's.
Bio: Little is known about the history of Kabuto prior to his sudden appearance as a member of the New Black Messengers. Whether he was once a human or like his master, was forged out of the shadows of the Data Dungeon World themselves, he is unique in his ability to curry the favor of and provoke the intense scrutiny of his master. Still, what is known about him is that he is a brilliant fighter but an even more talented user of medical spells. He can destroy and heal with a single touch...and prefers to do both as often as possible.

Currently, he serves as a confidant and the left hand of his master. More than that will have to be discovered at a later time...if there is really any true history there to be discovered...

Personality: Reisuke is cheery, energetic and...a tad unnerving. Reisuke's rarely seen without at least one Hand puppet, and usually with two. He's great with his hands, and is constantly seen making more and more puppets. Of Friends, Family, and the like. He's also got a competitive streak, and is always looking to improve on his skills.
Bio: Reisuke used to belong to a rather bad family, always arguing and snapping at one another. Reisuke himself always holed himself up in his room and curled up in the corner, trying to avoid the crossfire. However, one day his school was putting on a play with little hand puppets. In no time, Reisuke fell for the little puppets, playing with them at every possible instance. The teacher pulled a few strings and let him keep them, giving him the inspiration to make more. Day in, and out, he'd make puppets. Of friends, Family, and even just people he wanted to meet. He'd found himself a new hobby, and whenever his parents would argue, he'd have his puppets to keep him company. One day though, Reisuke came home from school to find his parents dead, having been killed by an empowered individual that Reisuke only caught a glimpse of. Shortly thereafter, a mysterious figure came to him, and tempted him with an offer. He could obtain power..and avenge his parents deaths. Not only that, but he could make the whole world his puppets too, if he wanted. Reisuke accepted, but surprisingly stated how he had no intentions of avenging his parent's deaths. Rather, he wanted to find the killer and thank him....in his own way. After the murder, he was adopted by a family friend and teacher at Yasogami High, along with an older sister. Despite living with them for a good portion of time, neither of them know anything about his contact with the mysterious individual...Or the power he awakened to after a he went missing for a few nights, by accepting his innermost desires and feelings. His Persona...And more importantly, his Shadow.....

Personality: Mithos is typically a bit shy around others at first, not being all that trusting of them. He does open up a bit more once he feels he can give at least a fragment of trust to the specific person but its not easy to obtain. He tends to behave like a brat sometimes, such as making snippy or rude comments towards others. Though he is quick to apologize shortly after, writing it off as a slip of the tongue or a misunderstanding. Mithos can also be a very emotional person and slip into depression or fits of rage.. When it comes to Yggdrasill, the other being within him, it is a very different story. He views himself as a higher being and everyone else is inferior. Despite that view, keeping Mithos safe is his top priority. So he tends to take the reins whenever he thinks Mithos is in physical danger or emotional strife. He isn't one to take orders from others, at least not easily. Yggdrasill also has a tendency to be rather cocky and is very confident in his abilities. This doesn't mean he is entirely unfriendly. If one knows what to say then there is a chance you could gain him as an ally. An easy way to tell who is speaking is to look at his eyes. If its blue, then it's Mithos. Green is for Yggdrasill. Eyes are the window to the soul after all.
Bio: Mithos never had the typical family life, his earliest memories where of him and his older sister. There were no parents around to care for him, only her. Though it didn't bother the boy at all, the world seemed perfectly fine as long as his sister was there for him. This was thanks to her constant smile and positive outlook on life, no matter how hard times got for them both. So the boy was able to enjoy many years with a smile on his face, going to school, making a few friends here and there, life was good.. At least it was supposed to be that way for many more years. Unfortunately, even in a small country town like Inaba there was always darkness lurking somewhere.

In the middle of his first year at Yasogami, Mithos was heading home from school only to see his world crumble around him. Police cars and people filled the usually uncrowded street, the uneasy glances his way didn't make the unusual setting any less troubling. So the teen rushed over only to see his worst fear turn into reality. His sister was laying dead on the street, the victim of some vicious animal. That was the only thing Mithos could see doing something like this to such a wonderful person. Only a brutal, ugly beast could do such a thing like this..

Mithos was soon placed in the care of a kind woman that had befriended him and his departed sister over the years. It brought him a little comfort but the damage was already done. This world had lost the light he loved so dearly, now it was much more dull and disgusting. It didn't help that the police had no leads at all and had no answers to offer him. To Mithos it was as if they weren't trying at all, like they didn't care that his family was slain so horribly in the middle of the day. So the boy's attitude drastically changed as he became more distant and cold, closing himself off to even his closest friends..

Things changed one night though, much to his surprise. Mithos heard about some show that sold oddities and decided to see what the craze was all about. His attention was captured right away when a very unique item was put up for sale. A Plume of Dusk. Maybe with that he could gain the strength to find the killer on his own? So Mithos ordered the item without further hesitation and awaited for the item for be delivered. It was strange to see that the plume looked a black and deep royal purple chip that was soft to the touch yet durable. The mysterious chip became embedded in his chest and that was when the changes happened. Another being, another existence came to be after that one simple action. He introduced himself as Yggdrasill and promised to fulfill his wish to provide him with the power and protection Mithos sought. It wasn't long after that night that a man named Orochi approached them to offer them a place in a group called the Black Messengers. He offered them more power and much more that convinced both Mithos and Yggdrasill to join his cause.

Bio: Miyata Ito was born the younger son of his two parents, Michio and Kagura Ito, the CEO and Vice-Executive of their family's business. Descended from a famous line of the Ito Family dating back to the days of the Sengoku Era, his own ancestors fought in Sekigahara and maintained their lands through the Meiji Era and the Restoration in old Hyuga Province in Kyushu. But as the 19th Century turned into the 20th Century and the 21st Century began to dawn, the prosperity and fortunes of their family began to wane. Unlike other families which adapted to the changing times such as the Amagai of Chugoku, the Ito struggled to find their place in the new world. And so it was that a generation prior, Miyata's father relinquished his place among the familial holdings in Hyuga to move elsewhere, settling near to a little growing metropolis on the water of the mainland known as Port Island. There, the family cast aside the traditional values that had long sustained them and embraced a new age mindset...they became vicious as Michio entered into the world of business acquisitions and foreclosures, their fortunes once again on the upswing at the expense of the less fortunate. And in that time, their children were raised upon these newfound values...maintaining a public face while ruthlessly working behind the scenes to climb over those who are in your way and reach the top...casting aside the traditional values that had allowed their family to maintain a respectable status in Kyushu for so many generations.

They were rich in this new place, but in a way, the success had cost them their souls. It had cost them their traditions. And soon, their misplaced values would come back to haunt them....

As the 17th birthday of Miyata Ito came, the talk of succession of the family businesses for the first time became truly heated between the younger son Miyata and his older brother Ken. While his brother was indeed three years older and the rightful heir to the family's businesses and money, it had become clear over the years that the second son was far more capable than the first. While Ken excelled in pole-vaulting with his track club and little else in life, Miyata had always been exceptionally talented in a variety of areas. He was charismatic, athletic (a wizard on the Gekkoukan High School Kendo Club under Kazushi-sensei), and he had a mind for business and numbers that far outstripped his brother. And yet, in an act that Miyata could only view as intensely, almost hypocritical to a suicidal degree, his father clung to the old world values...and stated his intention to the rest of the family to have Ken inherit the family business instead of Miyata. This went counter to everything their family had done over the past 15 years...from losing everything by clinging to their older ways to regaining everything but embracing the ruthless, new age business mentality...only to cling to a tradition at the very end that would only do more damage to their family than good?

Miyata was more than frustrated...he was jilted, indignant, angry. It was a wound to their family name. It was an insult to his own capabilities. And though he stewed for a while, in the end, he was tempted and he knew...this would not stand. Bio: Inaba has been an... interesting... town to live in. Over the last year or so, Yui has seen a LOT of horrible things happen in Inaba - from the great Fog and all the Midnight Channel incidents (which she watched almost religiously) to the Lockdown and the entire town constantly going on edge... there's been no shortage of things that have made normal people just want to sit down and hide.

This was especially true with the return of the Dark Hour, because Yui did have latent potential... and so she found herself all alone in a strange world each night, seeing weird things on the television and generally finding her energy drained. For the most part, though, Yui simply stayed in her room, hoping that it would be safe enough.

That lasted right up until when she was kidnapped by Zazi as part of a hostage-taking situation, and as she was being dragged back and forth, Yui came face-to-face with one of his most powerful Shadow servants. That was the last straw for her.

All the darkness in the world was dangerous, but most people seemed content to hide their heads in the sand and hope it would all go away. The more time went on, the harder it was to keep pretending that nothing was happening and life would just go on as normal, and with an icy feeling gripping her heart, Yui realized someone had to wake them up and get them to start paying attention. It wasn't going to be nice or fun, but the alternative was worse.

Those were the emotions that started to kick her powers into gear, and served as the catalyst of things to come...

And as friends of the Ito family, when the latter began to lose their grip on the lands in Hyuga, a business arrangement was proposed between the two of them. With the Urakami as the lead partners and the Ito backing them, the two families went into business and made a spectacular profit. Everything was going quite well, the two families having even gone so far as to make a marriage pact between their only daughter and son respectively...
But in recent years, the partnership became strained...and the struggle to turn a profit came to hinge on whether or not the Urakami could continue splitting their business with the Ito. For the richer Urakami family, it was no question...cruel though it might have seemed, the marriage was called off and the business relationship between the families was dissolved.
But the bond between the son of the Ito and the daughter of the Urakami was not yet severed.
From an early age, Chiaki had always been spoiled...the daughter of a rich and important family, she had access and privilege to anything that she desired...so long as she remained peaceful under the yoke of her demanding father. But as a young girl, little was asked of her that she wouldn't give, and she enjoyed life...dreamed of growing older and one day living the life of luxury with a man of her choosing, having the whole world beneath her boot to do with as she pleased. And when her family engaged her to the son of the Ito, a remarkably handsome young man with the wit and good sense to make her both happy and rich, she believed she was on her way...
And then the news came of their families' falling out, the rumors of their marriage pact called off, and the whispers amongst her parents of the search for a new match...with this Amagai boy from the Inaba family...and it angered her. It put her future in jeopardy.
She argued with her father, tried to plead her case, but he was more stern and strict with her than he had ever been. And yet she persisted...until a lightning crack of the back of his hand silenced her at last...and left a dark mark upon her heart and memory that would never quite fade.

Personality: One should be smiling at all times, even when they are seething mad. That is one philosophy that Sentaku follows by, consciously and unconsciously. Grinning at everything that comes his way, it makes it especially hard to tell when he is mad or when he his happy besides the words that come directly out of his mouth, and even then those can only be taken so far. But even with his dedication to grinning, you should always be wary when he doesn’t wear a grin. Sentaku is a frequent motor mouth, talking before he even thinks sometimes. But then again, maybe he does so on purpose, to lead others to the wrong conclusion.
Bio: Sentaku used to live in a very large family, with 4 sisters and 2 brothers, both his mother and his father, and aunts and uncles galore. But for some reason that was beyond him, his family began to shrink one by one. At first, Sentaku felt a little sad, and may of even frowned. But after the third death, all that was just the everyday smile that was on his face. And after the deaths grew closer and closer, what was left was just himself. Normally, one would be left in sadness, but all that Sentaku felt was his typical face. And then, he was visited by Raiden, and given an invitation to join them and he wouldn’t have to feel lonely. Of course, he joined them, but not only for the company, but also the opportunity to have more fun and share his smile with others.
