Personality: Takaya is a man who lives for the moment, having little care for the people around him. He would sacrifice even those close to them in order to achieve his goals, which he preaches like a new religion to all who would listen. He yearns for death but lives each moment to the fullest, knowing any moment could be his last. He is also quite nihilistic.
Bio: Having been taken in off the streets by the Kirijo Group when he was young and forced to awaken to a Persona, Takaya became jaded early in his life and after escaping the lab, began to live in the moment, forming a group out of the only three survivors of the experiment called 'Strega'. With this group he operated a revenge request website and became enamored with the power of Persona, so much that he fought against SEES who sought to eliminate the Dark Hour and rid the world of shadows. Later, he learned the purpose of Nyx and Tartarus to bring death to the entire world and embraced this idea, seeing nothing left in the world worth saving. However he was defeated just before the SEES crew met Nyx in battle, and watched as Minato Arisato rose and fought against Death itself, witnessing the miracle of 'The World'.

Knowing that he likely didn't have long to live, Takaya could only return to the base he and Jin had left behind before entering Tartarus, and though his memories of the Dark Hour disappeared temporarily, he was reminded of his past by reading the notes left behind on Jin's computer. And when it all came back to him, he found on Jin's computer one final gift from the only person he might have ever deigned to call friend. Jin, the skilled hacker that he was, had gifted Takaya with his own identity, erasing all traces of Takaya's former self from the internet and databases from around the world. And with in his research, came upon a drug in the Kirijo Database which could slow for a few years, at least, [though not stop] the deterioration of a body by those forced to take the Persona suppressants. With Jin's legacy, Takaya would be able to move on and pursue his goals again with a new team, in a new place, whenever the opportunity arose. And so Takaya waited in the darkness, watching the country for the time when shadows would reappear...when man's desire for death gave rise to the darkness again. Then, and there, he would stake his claim, and begin his quest anew to rid the world of the humanity that plagued it. A quest which lead him, at long last, to the rural town of Inaba...

Personality: Surprisingly charming and charismatic, sweet on the eyes and ears, but rotten to the core. Takes an almost perverse enjoyment in dismantling enemies, having his way with them before putting them to sleep for good.
Bio: Elke is someone whose life until now has been either mostly forgotten, or mostly erased by his current associates. What is known is that Elke likely came from money, likely resulting in his impressive education, style, charm, and multiple semi-practical skills [such as fencing, martial arts, formal ceremony, etc.].

Also known [to some] is that at some point Elke was brought into contact with Takaya and Jin through the Nyxist revolution, though was not aware of the Dark Hour at the time of Nyx's Fall. Since then, however, he has come into contact again with the mysterious 'messiah' and relocated to the town of Inaba along with him. And after his coming to Inaba, Elke literally seemed to disappear...only reappearing lately, with no real explanation as to why and/or where he had been. He is someone who answers to no one and dances to nobody's beat but his own...but by some force he seems to be interested in and loyal to the ideals of Takaya. Hence his participation in his newest 'revolution'.

Personality: Streetwise and more intelligent than he looks, he's got a sour attitude but surprisingly isn't easy to put over the edge. Though that doesn't mean he won't still kick your a** at the drop of a hat. Simply put, Ban doesn't like people and has a particular loathing for stupid and weak people...which he perceives to be the vast majority. He takes no pity on these types and feels no qualms about mocking or taking his displeasure out on then when the urge arises. When it comes to women, he's a glutton for punishment...but is known to have a surprisingly soft touch with them in lighter moments.
Bio: Raised in a relatively normal home in the Residential District of Inaba, Ban's mother was a rough, tough woman who ruled the home with an iron fist [despite the meek objections of his father]. Not particularly well-off, his family broke up when his father left his mother in the middle of the night during Junior High and his mother, who had actually quite loved her husband, devolved into a sniveling mass who nearly lost the will to care for herself afterward, forcing the young Ban to watch her degrading condition...until the woman finally died during Ban's last year of middle school. Left alone, Ban skipped out of his home and began living on the streets, going to school on his own and avoiding attempts to pair him with some lame-a** foster home [as he would put it]. It was a tough life, but one he lived with his head held high...unwilling to show the same weakness that had killed his family.

Perhaps that is part of why Ban ended up a bully in school, picking on many of the weaker and more pathetic-looking outcasts...and even some of the bullies themselves who found their strength only in numbers. He was particularly vicious to a green-haired kid named Faust, who seemed even meeker and weaker than most...to the point that it made Ban nauseous. For a few years he continued with this trend of living on the streets, picking on the weak, but it wasn't until a man named 'Jin' came to the town and proclaimed his plan to bring Salvation to Inaba that he found something that he actually wanted to do. Here they were, finally...strong people standing tall together to actually do something in this miserable town! His calling had arrived...and so he sought out the man called 'Jin Shirato', being brought into the quest for salvation of his own free will.

Despite his joining, Ban isn't necessarily committed to the people of the group...only the cause. Ban's the type who believes every person stands on their own, and has to be strong on their own. He even likes his women to be strong, and suffers duly for it when he's around them.

Personality: Brashly joyous and skeptical, Zazi thinks things are much more fun...when they're dead. Actually quite manipulative and sarcastic when he has the upperhand, Zazi tends to become infuriated quite easily and bear strong grudges when things don't go his way, throwing tantrums instead. Behind what appears to be a short-fuse however, he actually boils everything down through calculations and analysis that far surpass people's expectations, though he sacrifices his feelings for this flare of existence.
Bio: Once a scientist during the hay-day of the Kirijo, Zazi was a part of the original team working on the plan to manipulate time via Shadows. When they began to perform experiments with these creatures, the extreme power they possessed forced him to realize the emptiness of human ambition, and it's believed that somewhere in the project his mind skewed towards nihilism, forsaking anything called Divine Guidance. Before the disaster that ruined the staff occurred however, he was removed from the project by Mitsuru Kirijo's grandfather when his experiments began to take an extreme turn, involving the Shadow's effects when "subjects" were fed to it. Though his ample data made a powerful testament to his continuation on the staff, he showed no sign of second guessing his actions and even insisted that more researchers be sacrificed in the endeavor, his words wiggling their way into the Director's mind. In the end however his sheer animosity towards his "incompetent" coworkers proved that he was too much of a risk, and he was not only exiled by the Kirijo, he was even deported due to their influence, ruining all attachments to the man he once was, the Director's cold influence killing off (figuratively, though rumors spoke of it being literally) his loved ones, finances, and all the experimental data he'd collected from the Dark Hour, severing him from Japan permanently.

Or at least, so everyone thought, but as the Dark Hour showed time was a fickle and malleable thing, and the future of "Zazi Pazzia", the alias he took on to replace his broken name, fell into place like the shifting puzzles of Tartarus. The truth of the experiments turned to ash, and the Director died, freeing him of a possible lifetime of pursuits. Instead he was offered the opportunity with the creation of Tartarus and the Dark Hour the chance to expand human potential, realizing that only technology and human evolution lay before them, the Dark Hour swallowing any belief in False Gods or human life in the pitch blackness of Nyx; everything infinitesimally pointless if the Mother of Shadows was but to reach out it's hand. The researcher used what he'd learned in the past mistakes of his experiments to reach out to Shadows, and was swallowed by their nothingness, experimenting with subjects and his own body wherever possible, learning about the exponential power of despair and Transmogrification. Looking back on it all, the greatest hindrance would have to be his unawareness of Personas, the sleeping power of individuals that could be drawn out, and even his research only produced sparse results telling of the power of Shadows within Humans, never solving the mystery itself.

In the end he found his way back into the hands of evil though, over a decade after he abandoned his home. A caste-less murderer, bereft of home or worldly desire but filled with tainted knowledge that no ordinary human could possibly understand, fell at last into the hands of Takaya Sakaki. Introduced via the rise of Shadows once again, the research that might have been fruitless after Nyx's defeat became fertile for the grand schemes of Takaya, and the empty soul of the brilliant mastermind joined with those who wished to rid the world of it's inhabitants with Nyx, rather than let humans stumble on with their repugnant existences. Zazi wants only the destruction of humans, using the power of Shadows he's obtained to put an end to the "pointless" universe, the only regret perhaps left in his life that all existence should be so meaningless, love, life, hatred, demise, all to be washed away in the essence of time. Still, a sadistic pleasure lasts that he should be he one allowed to end it, and experimenting on people on the brink of oblivion only gives rise to a new casual meaning in the man's existence, his very body warped by research with Shadows and time, his mind snapped by his attempt at godlike ascendancy to the Shadow's level.

Personality: Though charismatic and genuine-looking in public (as is necessary for his role as a prophet), behind closed-doors he is deadpan and nihilistic, though he takes pleasure in his work herding sheep towards the fulfillment of Takaya's ambition. He has four siblings who care for him and have sworn to defend him, but it is quite debatable if that love goes both ways...as he rarely speaks to them other than to give orders, despite being the youngest. Loves to act mature and enjoys berating those who deserve it. Has a little bit of a complex due to his size (he is quite short and thin for his age). Despite being consciously aware of his mature image, he unwittingly makes some decisions and likes some things that may be deemed 'childish'. For example, he drinks coffee, but only with milk and sugar. Likes tea, but only with a lot of sweetener. Likes shirts with wide sleeves (that engulf his hands) because he likes the 'swishy' feel of them. Likes Kira because...she's pretty. And so on...catch him and call him on one of these things, though...

Bio: Intelligent and analytical all his life, Nuri's upbringing was fairly unremarkable save for his large family, though much of it was done outside of the town of Inaba where his family was originally from. Every so often they would return to the small town for a few months at a time, continuing this trend even after his parents were gone. He was always fairly well cared for, particularly by his siblings, but he didn't think much of his parents and cared very little when they passed on due to illness at ages 7 and 11 respectively. Inheriting quite a large sum of money and assets at the death of his parents (he had always been tabbed as the favorite, despite being the youngest of 5), he had very little direct access to it for a while because of his age. Eventually ousting all his handlers but his most loyal one, he and his sisters bypassed this problem and allowed Televaldi Nuri to become the complete master of his familial estate. Locked outside of the town during Inaba's Locked Down period, however, his family was only able to finally return home after it was lifted by Masamune Date.

He was always a rather gloomy child, his intelligence making him into something of a loner amongst what few peers he ever had (which made his siblings rather protective of him, in a way), and when the word began to spread about the Messiah named Takaya and his Nyxist Religion which grew inside of the Lockdown, he was quite dubious. However he was curious, and in his curiosity sought to discredit the Messiah for his own amusement. The night the two met there are two general schools of thought as to what happened...some believe that Nuri judged Takaya to be a liar and left the base that night, only to have his own vision (in a dream) in which he saw the 'glory' of the Fall of Nyx. This is the predominantly-believed version of Nuri's recruitment into the Strega Organization, and because of his vision, he became known as something of a child prophet, even though he was old enough to be at least considered adolescent or young adult instead of a child (as he would insist himself). Following his footsteps to continue their promise to protect their baby brother, his siblings soon joined him and became something of a 'Papal Guard' to their new Prophet, throwing themselves into this new 'religion' as best they could.

Intrigued by his vision, many began to follow his lead within the organization. Takaya picked up on this and saw opportunity in the young benefactor to his organization, bringing him and his family into the inner circle of Strega. Whether this was the plan all along from the night they met and they are both in on it, or if Nuri is simply being lead on a string by Takaya and/or his 'vision' is unknown. Whatever the case, when the main force of Strega relocated to Port Island, Takaya chose Nuri as the Prophet to continue spreading the word in the town of Inaba, assigning Malka Devorah and Kagemusha as his 'divine protectors' to keep him from harm. With a few others staying to help Nuri and his family further the cause, he has proven to be a very effective and charismatic leader at times, convincing many to join them...though whatever he receives out of his participation in another man's dreams remains to be seen.

Personality: Very meek and quiet, but also childlike. Kawa is very happy, but tends to end up wracked by saddness at several prompts. Very hard to get close to.
Bio: Kawa used to be a good, normal child. However, after some experiments involving an unknown lab researching personae, Kawa started to become a bit unstable. Kawa's Persona was birthed, and rampaged. Luckily, Kawa survived, but several others didn't. Kawa's parents treated Kawa with care, and tried to make Kawa happy. After a while though, Mephistocoles started to rampage again, and both parents were Lost. Kawa moved from house to house, the murders being unknown for quite some time before Kawa ran away, not wanting to lose more parents.
Kawa was picked up by Takaya, who offered 'candy' that would keep Mephistocoles under control, and allow Kawa to live a somewhat normal life. Grateful, Kawa now looks to Takaya, as if he was a long lost father. If Kawa doesn't take the pills regularly though, then Mephistocoles comes out to play.
And he doesn't play nice.

Personality: Emilia is a really snobby and pompous attitude, believing that she is entitled to anything she can get her grasp on, and many things she can’t too. When most others try to interact with her, if she isn’t able to understand them or sometimes when she can, she blatantly ignores them and lets her butler to speak on her behalf or translate their words for them to her if he believes necessary. She does have a musical ear for classical music, being quite talented in the piano and the instruments that often accompany it. Typically, she prefers to be alone and self-sufficient in her endeavors, but she doesn’t mind the fact that her loyal servants help her out when needed.
Bio: Having been born to the Tsumuya conglomerate, Emilia was surrounded by money and lived in luxury. But as a kid, she was diagnosed with a debilitating disease that had rendered her not able to stand the sunlight for extended amounts of times exceeding 30 minutes, as well as the fact that her lifespan would be incredibly lucky if she could live past her 20th birthday. Living with the knowledge that she would die, she was only accompanied by two of the maids rather than all of them. But even still, the two that she had were all that Emilia needed, and with the education that her family had given her was well appreciated. Having gotten the request accepted that she could stay in Japan for the last few years of her life, she moved from Styria to Japan to live out the last few years of her life, and hopefully experience more fun things.
