Roll a Seven: Forest Field: Thick trees, some small while others greatly exceed double your own height, sprout at random places throughout the field. Giant roots provide easy excuses for pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG and GRASS type attacks. This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Leto excitedly traversed one length of the field, making her way above and below the roots that filled the stage. Her trainer had told her to stay close to the trainer platform while they waited for their opponent, and although she had squeaked her complaint at this, she found her annoyance quickly draining away while she amused herself by attempting to climb a broad, tall tree.

Entering the field, Kytti had a smile on her face. "A forest arena this time, should be interesting to say the least. Though lots of hiding spots for the other trainer's pokemon." she happily thought.
Her Deerling trotted happily about, ready for a battle in the forested area. Felt a little like home to her.

Leto looked up when she heard someone approach, her eyes lighting up cheerfully. She'd been looking forward to a battle!

Without waiting any longer, she leapt down from her tree and rushed at the Deerling to strike her with a debilitating Rock Smash.

Willow felt a little weaker from the Rock Smash attack, but regained her footing and charged.
"That's my girl! Jump Kick!" Kytti urged cheerfully.
Willow ran towards the opposing pokemon, then leaped high into the air and came down with her hind legs fully extended.

Leto squealed when she was struck, and she struggled to release herself from under the hard and imposing hooves. Her tail arched over her back angrily, and she shot an Ice Beam at her opponent.

Feeling the ice encase her, Willow couldn't move for a short time frame.
"Think warm thoughts Willow, you can thaw out of the ice!" Kytti called to her Deerling.

Glad for her success, Leto used Rock Smash once again, breaking off the ice but harming the Deerling, too. When she thought she had done sufficient work, she skittered back and hissed again.

Willow got crushed by the rock attack and fell to the ground with a small bleat.
""Come on Willow, I believe in you girl!" cheered Kytti, "Hit it again with Jump Kick!"
The Deerling again ran towards the opponent and leaped high into the air and aimed with her hind legs.

Leto screamed angrily when she was kicked by the Deerling's strong hooves, twisting to try and release herself. Tail lashing wildly, she aimed at the Deerling's ankle with a Rock Smash to try and persuade the Pokémon to remove its foot.

Leto was struck again, but at least she wasn't stuck under the accursed foot! Darting between its hooves, she tried to hit the same ankle again in hopes of limping it for the remainder of their battle.
