Abilities/Jutsus:
Immortality | Hidan's main advantage in battle is the inability to die, meaning he is pretty much Immortal. He can survive even the most fatal injuries, but strangely is in love with the pain he feels, which makes him Masochistic. It isn't truly a Type of Jutsu, but more of an Long-Life-Lasting ability.
Taijutsu | Hidan's structure causes him to be very skilled in the art of Taijutsu. He wields, of course, a Giant three-bladed scythe, which he carries among his back. He controls his scythe both by hand and by a long metal cord coming from a coil around his waist area. Even with tremendous and dangerous size and shape of it, Hidan is still very agile. Even still so agile, however, he is considered the slowest attacker in the Akatsuki. Nevertheless, Hidan is extremely agile, having tremendous acrobatic prowess and dexterity in avoiding attacks. He could evade a massive fire ball fired at him at point-blank range, which destroyed the building he was standing in, and could be capable of dodging a chakra blade aimed at him in mid-air, by thrusting his scythe into the trunk of a tree and using it as a stand, halting his fall and making the blade miss him by a margin.
Jashin Ritual and Curse | This is a technique where Hidan must collect his opponents blood for a Ritual, known as the Jashin ritual. This process or ritual somehow 'links' his body with his opponent's. Once this link is connected, Hidan takes on a Grim Reaper-like appearance, with black skin and white bone-like markings. In this form or state, he is essentially a living voodoo doll for his opponent; any damage that is done to him is also done to his opponent. He calls this his curse and likes to toy with his opponent before truly killing them, finding it fun. His curse's main power is the symbol he creates with his own blood, a circle with an upside down triangle inside. The only way to prematurely cut the link is to remove him from the symbol, but it can always be connected again by him returning to the symbol once more.

Ehehe! Well, I really do like Hidan, and no one seemed to have taken him yet. I was wondering if I could get him, since my response to join the guild was kind of a give away that I really did like Hidan a lot.
Bio:
After Yugakure deteriorated from a shinobi village to a tourist site, Hidan became infuriated with how things were turning out. He believed that the shinobi that resided there were meant to kill, and thus slaughtered his neighbours before leaving Yugakure, and joining the cult-like faith known as Jashin, a religion that worshipped a deity of the same name. The primary teaching of this faith appears to be outright slaughter, where anything less than utter destruction is considered a sin. Through experiments with Jashin's secret technique, Hidan was granted with immortality.
Personality:
Hidan is one of the most foul-mouthed and disrespectful people in Akatsuki. He is also called the most insane person in Akatsuki as well, due to the fact in battle he would laugh manically, or shriek in his joy. However, he would frequently sware and complained at allies and opponents alike, contrary to him being a very "religious" person. He was the only member of Akatsuki who did not respect their leader, Pain, and openly declared his willingness to kill him around others. The only respect he ever seemed to give was to his god, and, even then, he was quite willing to use his name as an insult. He openly held his partner, Kakuzu, in contempt for his habit of blasphemy, love of money, and Kakuzu's frequent ridicule of Hidan's religion and battle style. Despite this, whenever Hidan was in the mood to kill, the two worked together flawlessly in battle, and one can infer that he did care somewhat for his partner, from his panicked reaction when he almost killed Kakuzu one time from a possession Jutsu. Hidan is also cold hearted, meaning he has no remorse for anyone he is about to kill, meaning no sort of guilt or a bad feeling. He is all lawful to Jashin, his god.
