Her breathing was stable. Calm. Not using up as much air from her lungs. Which allowed her stamina to last a little longer. She was getting better at remaining in her feline form longer without losing herself or getting dizzy. If her mental clock was correct, she'd been prowling through the ruins for a few hours now. Probably pushing it, but she felt she could last a little longer.

Something caught her attention, ears swiveling to follow the sound. Shaden sniffed at the air, not finding anything too out of place. Her nails dug into the stone she stood on, cyan eyes narrowing as she looked around. Nothing. But she definitely heard something.

Crouching down, she lunged, scaling up the side of the building next to her. Now at a higher advantage point, the snow leopard padded along silently to see what had disturbed the evening. If she was lucky, maybe she'd find something interesting or amusing to toy with.

Or someone that she'd regret screwing around with. Again.

Ruins that were ever so silent, save for the melodious chirping of birds and rustling of leaves revoked their vow of silence when master and student stepped foot into them. It was unusual to see a frightening looking man keeping the company of a girl who barely went up to his chest in height, with loose, light twin tails following behind her, and even more unusual to see what appeared to be a happy companionship suddenly turn into violence.

Sibelius was lifting large pieces of rubble that had been shed by the ruins, tossing the large boulder-like pieces with ease at Ruria, whose job it was to dodge or deflect the pieces. She did...decently, though several times she was forced to the ground in a rather painful demeanor, though she got back up every time.

"Don't give me those eyes," sibelius told her, lifting another large, child-sized chunk. "Would you rather get hit by my balls instead?" Of course, he meant his two ball-maces that he often wielded, knowing Ruria would take it that way and no other, being as innuendo-deaf as she was.

"...dumbass!" she cried, throwing a rock back at him. It hit him dully in the shoulder, flopping to the ground.

"Dumb...a**? Where did you pick that up? I'm offended!" sibelius looked gruff, though it was obvious by the small little glimmer in his usually cold eyes that he was fond of the girl, though in what way, he wasn't sure himself. Ruria saw him as her mentor, well..one of them. Most of her teaching had come from a mixture of Sibelius and Cruor, though not yet together, and her physical fighting style reflected it, to an extent.

"Dodging is boring. Besides, boulders, Sibelius. Boulders. Who throws...boulders?! You know they'll be testing me on my physical skills as well as magical, and just showing them I can break things and dodge bulbous rocks is not going to appeal to anybody." she said, looking at him glumly.

Sibelius frowned, approaching her, and laid his hands on both of Ruria's shoulders, looking down at her seriously, his mouth curving into a slight smirk. "Well then... There's always....something else we could do in the privacy of these ruins." He ran a digit along her jawline, down her neck and shoulder, pausing reluctantly as it went from smooth flesh to healing scar; her last encounter with a witch eater.

Ruria looked at him bluntly, used to these half-assed advances. "And that would be?"

With a quick grab and heave, Sibelius had picked the girl up above his head, as if she weighed practically nothing, and tossed her like a spear into the underbrush. "Learn to fly!" he laughed boastfully, always pleased to harass the girl.

Sticks and leaves littered Ruria's hair from where she fell somewhere deeper in the brush, and she grumbled to herself darkly as she sat up, placing her hand on what she thought was a dark colored stump to help herself stand.

Wait..stumps didn't have fur, did they? Her gaze fell to the "stump" (shaden) and she let out a yeep, withdrawing her hand quickly. "You are a felled wood!" she cried, leaping to her feet. Rather than be afraid of the predatorial creature, she brushed off any debris, a softly concerned look in her eyes. "I didn't fall on you, did I, creature? You are not hurt, are you? It wasn't me who threw myself, but the bumbling oaf, please don't harbor any ill will towards me."

Sibelius emerged into the shade of the trees, eyeing the feline. He could recognize the scent vaguely from afar, but his puzzle on who was there became answered as he saw Shaden's mononoke form. "Ah, surprised to see you out on the prowl. Preying on the ladies, are we, Shaden?" he smirked, though there was nothing sinister behind it.

She'd settled herself down, out of the way, to observe the two combatants. It wasn't very unusual to see those that called Poena Privus home training with one another. And was probably half the reason why the place had so many ruins. What was unusual was this particular pair. Shaden tilted her head curiously at them.

Sibelius training with a younger girl? One that she was fairly certain she'd met once before. Her scent registered in the mononoke's mind, but not with familiarity. And of course, leave it ti Sib to treat a woman - even a young one - so charmingly.

Shaden snorted softly, merely turning her head to glance at the girl when she crashed into the brush and used the snow leopard to help her stand up. Her tail twitched and an amused glint entered her gaze. Stretching as she stood, Shaden moved with a feline's grace to gently rub her head along the girl's side. Then she crouched down and swiftly pounced on Sibelius. Obnoxiously rubbing her head against him, like a cat wanting a good scratching.

Clearly, it was not the ladies she preyed on.

"H-hey!" he let out a muffled cry as the furball tackled him. Grumbling, he picked her up by the scruff, holding her high off the ground as he stood, as if she was nothing more than a mere kitten. "You're up to something. I thought you didn't trust me, but now you're purring? Definitely suspicious."

Ruria tumbled out of the underbrush, an amused look on her face at Sibelius being caught off-guard and pounced on. "No, no, go for the jugular! There is more spitterspatter, that way." Sibelius glanced at her grimly, before returning his gaze to the Shaden.

"Oh. You two haven't met yet. This is Ruria, my precious little daughter --"

Ruria fumed immediately, crossing her arms over her chest and gazing at Sibelius coldly. "I am not your daughter!"

Sibelius ignored her. "She'll uh, be joining us at Poena Privus in the near future. Cruor and I have been training her. We'd love any extra help in case you've had a bad day and want to knock around a little witch." he grinned softly, releasing the scruff as he put the predatorial cat down.

Ruria gave him a dull look, before swiveling her back to him and kneeling by Shaden, fluffing her ears with girlish admiration. "Cruor trains better, you just throw things at me." It wasn't entirely true, but she knew telling him Cruor bested him at anything would ruffle his feathers, which, to Ruria, meant a job well done.

Sibelius growled, slumping onto the grass in a laid back position. "BREAK TIME. Speaking of break, perhaps I ought to break his other leg, now.... That aside, what brings you out here anyways, Shaden? Following the trail of a real man, and not some bag of scales?" He couldn't help but to jest at Cruor, even though the dragon was nowhere to be seen. How dare anything be insinuated that he did something...better.

He got quite the glare when she was scruffed, everything going limp to create as much 'dead' weight as possible. Not that it would have mattered since this was Sibelius. She just purred right back at him, tail batting against his leg while the purely innocent kitty look flashed across her features. Her? Up to something? Why, she should be flattered that he'd think her that suspicious!

Then again she was sitting there spying on the man, getting to know him a little better - sort of - while trying to understand why Cruor trusted him so. She couldn't help that her feline half adored attention more than her human half.

Shaden glanced towards Ruria, blinking at her with mild surprise. Her words were true, though it was almost unnerving to hear them coming from such a young one as her. An ear flicked back towards Sibelius as he spoke, though she kept her eyes on Ruria. His daughter? This was interesting. Especially the cold look sent the Blackheart's way.

Oh she liked this one. She had spirit.

And she gave scritches and attention and...yep. She'd won this kitty over in a matter of seconds. Shaden purred, leaning into Ruria's hands followed by a snicker at the jest thrown back at Sibelius. Who got a hissed snort at mention of breaking Cruor's other leg. b*****d.

Rubbing against Ruria one last time, the feline moved over to put her face right in Sibelius's, holding his gaze for a moment, before a slow shimmer rippled along her body and within one blink and the next, there was a woman in the leopards place. A very naked woman. Almost literally sitting in his lap. Shaden smacked him in the head.

"I hope Cruor's large dragon butt crushes you in the near future." She informed Sibelius dryly. "And trust me, if there was a real man around...I wouldn't be watching you abuse a child, now would I?" She smiled oh so sweetly, clearly not bothered by her lack of clothes at the moment.

"I'm Shaden, by the way. Since darling Sib here was not gentlemanly enough to say so." She said with a glance over her shoulder towards Ruria. "Pleasure to meet you, Ruria."

As Shaden turned her gaze towards Ruria, she would have discovered Ruria standing with both hands over her eyes. "Not looking!" she cried. /")_(" "And I am not a child, I am legally an adult. Don't let my bust size fool you...they're pressed, because otherwise my tops don't fit."

Sibelius, on the other hand, kept his eyes wide open, partially out of shock, partially out of never being one to miss an opportunity of voyeurism. When Shaden had materialized practically on top of him, his hands instinctively ended up on her hips, one brow raising at the sudden change of pace. "Well, now," he said, a smirk curving on his lips. "I didn't know you had it in you, Shaden. It's a shame I'm a partial gentleman and only willing to look." he gave her a once over - as much as he could from his position. "Not bad."

Ruria flustered, ashamed, and practically leapt towards Shaden, grappling her from behind, and actually clutching her bosom with both hands, fuming angrily at Sibelius. "How uncouth, don't stare at those! She is a lady, you you....deviant!"

The Reaper Mononoke just stared blankly at Ruria, a slow curl to her lips turning sly. Clearly, she was still young enough to have modesty. Something Shaden grew to lack thanks to the fact she was unclothed every time she changed back. But Ruria's defense of her age had Shaden busting out in laughter.

"Dear, you and I need to go shopping and find you tops that work with your bust size." She giggled, those same sly eyes shifting to stare at the hands on her hips. Well, now indeed.

Shaden matched Sibelius's look. "Well at the rate you were asking questions I didn't have much of a choice, did I? I can't exactly speak in my other form. Not that there aren't advantages to that." There may have been a slight bit of rose tinting her cheeks as he gave her a once over. She leaned forward slightly, ears flattening against her skull as that devious look flashed in her gaze.

"Best get a good look, Sibelius. This is the only naked anything you'll see for a long while."

Of course, she also hadn't been expecting to be groped from behind by Ruria, out of the two of them. There was a clear look of surprise and a flush to the Reaper's face as the other girls hands clutched at her bosom. Well, she had just told Sibelius to get a good look. Apparently, she just hadn't realized how good of a look.

"What are they teaching the young, these days?" She muttered at Sibelius, flicking her tail up to 'cover' herself. And why, by all the stars in the sky, did it have to feel good having her breasts squeezed, goddamnit! Maybe she was safer in her other form after all.

"...." was all Sibelius could muster as he stared at Shaden being seemingly groped by Ruria. The sudden onslaught of lesbian fantasies suddenly played out in his mind, projected onto the scene in front of him. Where in reality it was a clothed Ruria clutching Shaden's breasts to hide them from his view, his mind had replaced the image with a barely clothed Ruria massaging Shaden's ample breasts, both of them moaning and whimpering and---- "T..that..." He cleared his throat, edging his face away slightly. "If you'll excuse...me." he stood up abruptly, his dominating strength making it easy, even with two women practically on top of him, sliding off as he erected himself to promptly hide his uh....aherm. "Life is cruel." he moaned.

Ruria stared after him, then her face gloomed, her voice darkening to match her expression. "...He was having...perhaps it's best you don't know." She spat her tongue out as if disgusted at Sibelius. Since his back was turned, Ruria took the oppurtunity to release Shaden's breasts, striding to Sib and planting her heel in the small of his back with a fierce and direct kick, sending him tumbling face foward on the ground. "Deviant!" she cried. Turning back to Shaden, Ruria took the outer layer of her top off, leaving a sarashi-like binding underneath that hid her breasts and part of her tummy, and poofy under-shorts that were usually visible from her shorter dress anyways. "You can wear this, for now, to help cover." She offered it to Shaden.

The girl had a surprising amoung of scars that were usually kept hidden by her top, though most were small, with some centering along her backside, save for one large and nasty one that mirrored itself from her chest and out her back shoulderblade - an ugly reminder of her first encounter with a witch eater.

Oh she didn't need Ruria to explain it at all to her! She'd been around enough of the poor lonely men of Poena Privus to put two and two together very quickly. And, well, there was the fact she'd almost been sitting on top of him too. It would probably have been better for all of them had the Reaper had some small ounce of modesty in her currently. But no, she failed that class.

Finally released and no longer afraid of what sort of...sounds might have come out of her own mouth, Shaden found herself sputtering in laughter at Sibelius. Which only got worse as Ruria sent him sprawling on the ground. Ohgod. Her stomach was hurting from the laughing.

"S-Such...a t-terrible...man." She managed to gasp out, arms crossing against her chest to partially conceal them. Since she did feel bad for being so exposed with Ruria right there too. It wasn't fair to the other girl.

And speaking of 'fair', somewhere in the back of her mind she was positive this was going to come back and bite her in the a**. SIGH!

She offered Ruria a grateful smile, slipping on the clothing items carefully. "Thanks." She murmured, eyes roaming along the scars scattering the girls body. Damn. Shaden didn't dare ask about them, though she had a feeling they might have something to do with why Cruor and Sibelius were training the girl as they were. Though she wasn't able to completely hide the wince as she stared at the worst of them. A tiny spark of anger flashing through her eyes before disappearing.

Clearing her throat and now clothed, Shaden grinned at Ruria. "Much better. So the boys have been training you, have they?" She asked casually, walking over to kick Sibelius in the side. "Don't think I won't hold this one against you." Shaden purred at him, wrinkling her nose. "Geez, you do realize this puts you up there with Ashkii on my list right now, don't you?" No wonder she only trusted Cruor so far!

Sibelius groaned when Shaden's foot connected with his side, immediately leaping to his feet in a defensive, serious posture, a violence flickering somewhere in his eyes at being compared to Ashkii. "How dare you compare me to that...that.... I'll have you know, I have had sex with one woman! One! Why is this my fault, when your naked self came toppling onto my erec---my poor, defenseless pelvic area!?" he fumed, crossing his arms over his chest.

Ruria nodded, ignoring his tirade, plopping down on the grass. It was one of those days that she was more 'herself' than she usually was lately...probably due to being able to use her magic and satiate the need for destruction. "They are. I've learned a lot from both of them, but sadly not the answer I needed the most." she sighed softly, looking toward Sib's fuming tantrum. There was something momentarily distant in her eyes as she seemed to look past him. "They are both...very important to me." she murmured. "Maybe I'll be able to repay their kindness someday." She drew her eyes back to Shaden, smiling softly.

"Wait, Cruor is...important...to...you? Then..it's true.....he's...fathered your...child...It wasn't a farce!?" His face was pale, eyes widened and terrifying. Ruria gazed at him gloomily. "You...are still caught up on that pathetic joke? Do I look like I'm pregnant!?" She threw a rock in her angst, which smacked him directly in the head, though he seemed unphased. "That's it!" he roared. "No more training with Cruor! None! Shaden, take Cruor's place! That way if I have to think about filthy things transpiring, it will be more enjoyable, and I won't feel like I want to break his other leg even more."

Clearly, she was not phased by the tantrum, cyan eyes glittering with mischief. And maybe something else, though that was impossible to figure out. Shaden jabbed a finger into his chest, below his crossed arms. "Oh shove it and stop acting like a child who just lost their favorite toy to their nemesis." She too, crossed her arms, turning her back on him to give all her attention to Ruria.

"I'm glad you've at least had some decent teachers." She said with a softer smile - which she hid from Sibelius. "I'd say maybe I could help you find that answer, unfortunately if neither of them could help you there...." Shaden sighed. Then no one probably could. She watched the girl, feeling a softer side of herself meet the smile directed her way. Hearing how Ruria spoke of both Sibelius and Cruor made Shaden think of Athir. Which also made her smile fall a little. "You're lucky to have them both." She said quietly with a wink.

And then the moment was ruined by the sputtering that came from behind her. Although what the idiot actually said did make Shaden give Ruria a puzzled look. That quickly cleared and had her smacking her hand to her forehead.

"Really, Sib? Don't you think you're overreacting just a tiny bit?" Shaden said dryly, trying not to smile. "Wait." She hooked him with a scowl. "You have filthy thoughts regarding Cruor too?!" Of course she understood what he actually meant. But really, the man was setting himself up way too easily.

Ruria gave Shaden a wry shrug, a mischievous glimmer in her eyes. "He takes strange things seriously sometimes, but he's not a bad guy, even if he is a ...." her eyes narrowed somewhat. "...a deviant."

Her eyes flitted up to Shaden's, then back to the ground. "Is it..." her fingers wrung at the hem of her poofy shorts nervously. "...happy, at Poena Privus?"

Sibeilus didn't give Shaden the chance to answer before barging back to them, huffing and puffing. "I do not......" he growled, lifting the woman up above his head by her hips, like one scolding a small creature. "....have those kind of thoughts about flaming dicks like Cruor! The man is good on the battlefield, but what else he's good at in the private quarters ain't my business...and you better not make it yours, Ruria!" he scowled at her, staring daggers at the poor girl, before returning Shaden to the ground.

Ruria waved her arms in front of her protectively. "You already ruined my last relationship, you ...fathead." she grumbled. It was easy for her to feign that it was light, though the memory of it still dwelled heavy on her heart. She grumbled something incoherent, before standing in an offensive posture. "I'm going home, and locking my door and eating all my pastries, and you can't have any! Not one!" she cried at him, just as tempermental. She turned her face toward Shaden once more, giving her a polite gesture of a nod. "It was good to meet you," she said. "Perhaps we will see each other again in the future."

Before she could reply to her, the girl had turned on her heel and ran off, the sound of her steps echoing through the trees for a short distance before fading into ********> sibelius grumbled, scratching the back of his head. "Seems she's still a bit sore at me afterall."

"So I keep being told..." Shaden murmured, now having two people tell her that Sibelius was actually not bad. "Although the childish tantrums are not doing his image any good." She added with a grin for Ruria, snickering. Deviant. That was one way to put it. Shaden just would have flat out called him a pervert herself.

Ruria's question surprised the Reaper. She blinked at the girl, a strange look crossing her features. That was not a question she had expected at all. And at the moment, she wasn't sure about the answer. Thankfully, she was saved from attempting one.

An indignant squeak escaped Shaden as she was lifted off the ground, followed quickly by a hiss as her hands flew down to clutch at his arms. Her ears flattened against her skull and her tail lashed behind her. It might have hit Sibelius in the head once or twice too. And the glare she sent down at the man was one of her more impressive ones. Though her eyes did flicker over to Ruria as he involved her in this little show of 'manliness'. However once she was back on the ground, Shaden didn't do anything other than cross her arms under her chest and give Sibelius a blank look.

Which morphed into a sympathetic one as she looked to Ruria. Inwardly, Shaden groaned. If Sib acted like this when he was being teased, how did he act when it was something more serious like....Ruria's relationships with guys? Or girls. Whatever her tastes were.

Shaden waved, smiling. "And you as well. I sincerely look forward to meeting with you again." She called, and added softly, "And perhaps I'll have a partial answer for your question the next time."

She watched in the direction Ruria ran off until she couldn't hear the girls footsteps any longer, turning her head to look up at Sibelius.

"Y'know....that tends to happen when you step on toes and make life living hell for a girl that found a lover." Not that she really had room to speak. She'd never had anything quite like that. Flings, yes. But nothing serious. Shaden shrugged. "She'll forgive you. Eventually." Then she smacked him in the chest. "Just keep your fingers out of places they don't belong!"

The Reaper grew quiet for a minute, staring off at the ruins. No. She didn't think there was a good answer for Ruria's question. Though she was reminded of something else. Looking at the Blackheart again, Shaden stepped up to him, raising up on her toes and placed a soft kiss to his cheek.

"Thank you. From before. For protecting the kids." She paused, looking towards the trees. "For protecting Athir. He's the only one I have."

Sibelius remained silent, listening to her talk. "Heh," he scoffed slightly, though something distant hinted something else in his eyes. "You can't answer her question, Shaden." he said rather seriously. "It's not a simple one. It's not a question of, what should I wear today? Do I look pretty? But more like, what is this magic inside me? Is it going to kill me? Is it going to take me? How can I accept it so it doesn't eat me." he laughed a little. "Sounds stupid, but what can you do? You cough up hairballs, she thinks she's going to turn into a monster, and probably will if she can't figure it out. Cruor and I both haven't been able to yet, though we've tried."

He scowled at the mention of the relationship. "She was givin' herself to a Majin, Shaden. In more ways than one..." his face darkened, and he sighed. "I just sort of...yelled at the boy. At her. She's becoming a Blackheart, and something like that is asking for her to get killed, get her heart snatched, used, etc. I had to say something. You would have said something. After that, the boy just kind of...left her, I guess. I don't know why he did, but he did. It certainly wasn't because he was scared of me. Damn kid even hit me, hah!"

And after that, gloom and despair took her, and her happy days seemed so few in number, and it was all his fault, he wanted to believe. His momentary brooding was distracted by the quick feeling of warm, soft lips pressing against his cheek, and he turned questioning blue-grey eyes towards her at her gratitude. "That...? Feh. I hate kids." he waved his hand almost dismissively. "I'm sure that's not true, though. You and dragonbreath seem good. You may not trust me, but I'll still look after you. It's my duty and honor as a blackheart." He quickly ruffled the top of her head and ears, wishing as hard as he could to incite the mysterious static frizz shock.

Shaden glowered at him, though there was an equally serious look to her eyes. She knew very well there was no way to truly answer that question. Though she did file away the information Sibelius had given her for later consideration. It sure explained some of the....oddness about Ruria she had begun to pick up on. She felt that grim sadness again, thinking one what could happen to the girl if she couldn't find her answer.

"Some things...we just aren't meant to be able to help with." She said quietly and sighed.

All teasing and playful banter quickly left the Reaper. "She what?" In more ways than one? That meant.... She shook her head, running a hand through her hair. "Yes." She admitted. "I would have said something. And it just makes it harder that she's someone close to you too." It also explained why poor Ruria probably felt betrayed by Sibelius.

Shaden just snickered at the man. A hint of something lurked in her gaze. Maybe the beginnings of trust? "Oh I bet you'll 'look' at me alright." She teased, a cheshire smile spreading along her lips. "Just like you 'looked' before. Such a terrible terrible man!" A finger rose to tap against her chin. "Maybe Cruor is the better man." She mused, unable to resist taunting him.

"And she'll forgive you, Sib. She cares too much about you to not."
