(disguised as a mortal; just take away all the extra hair/wings, jewelry will still be there) Talayeh was bored. She was ready to find a little action for herself, and strayed along the border of a pride she hadn't visited before. It was easy enough, as silly mortals seemed to have so many prides to keep themselves bound to. It was only convenient for her when she wanted some male attention or to drop off unwanted cubs. As much as she didn't like cubs, she wasn't cruel enough to leave them abandoned to die. Being a goddess meant she could disguise herself as an old hag, pretend she only found them, and pass them off to some unsuspecting lonely female.
But for now, she wanted the company that only a male could offer, and it was always easy to find one. Being mated to another female never seemed to stop them. Tala was good at getting what she wanted. For now, she just had to gain some attention, and gauge the males around here.
She paused her casual walking, her white coat perfectly clean. Narrowing her golden eyes, she noticed a few males. Now to see if any would notice her, and feel the urge to approach her. As confident as she was with herself, some males were wary of strangers and avoided her.

Once again Yareha thanked the Great Lion that Latitare now had chicks of his own to spend time with. And that the lion's kids were juveniles and so much less dependent than they had been as cubs. Being able to get out onto the border on his own with some frequency made the white lion very very happy. And, amazingly enough, allowed him to be much more relaxed. Though he'd never tell any pride member why exactly that was. It was remarkable how many single, rogue lionesses passed near the Mwezi'Johari lands. He was merely...a handsome stranger to them. Speak of the devil, there was a simply stunning white lioness walking not too far off! She had a few accent colors and wore jewelry - something Yareha had seen rarely and only on other passing rogues. On those he hadn't really seen the point, but on this one it added...a majesty to an already lovely creature. Shaking his head to make his mane fall more into place, Yareha approached the stranger. "I don't believe I've seen you around here before," he offered suavely.

Ohohoho. When Talayeh turned her attention to a male that had approached her, she got the vibe that he had done this before. Playing with relatively young males was something she always enjoyed, but there was always a thrill to flirt with the more experienced ones. He'd know just what to say to make her happy, and she'll be more than content to give him what he wanted.
"Your eyes don't lie," she said with a content grin. Her tail flicked behind her playfully, her forepaw stretching out in front of her in his general direction. "I guessed that there was a pride nearby, what with the marking of the border. And so many males hinted at that as well."

Aha, a female who knew the game as well! Not that he had any objections to that. There was, after all, something to be said for experience. And Yareha like just about every lioness out there.
"Yes, the Mwezi'Johari," he answered the not-quite-question. "But...I don't see any othe rmales around at the moment," the white lion went on after a long look around. Thank the God for that. They were far enough out that he shouldn't have to worry too much about being observed. Especially since the damned bird wasn't here.
Blue eyes met gold. "I don't think that we need any others here at the moment though...wouldn't you say?"

"I was walking around for a little bit," she said, shaking her head just a little bit to shift the little bit of hair that was visible out of her eyes. The mortal disguise was a bit inconvenient, but she would rather prefer males think they bedded one like them, rather than a goddess. She was not something like a trophy, not to be bragged about. They should be flattered that she chose them, but she had run into too many males that figured it was the other way around. Hmph.
"I'm glad you chose me," she said with a light chuckle. "You've quite the looks on you. No other eyes need to be around."
Yes, he was very...experienced.

His eyes widened slightly. She was glad he'd...chosen her? Yareha had absolutely no idea how to respond to that one. Telling the female that he'd be happy to spend the night with just about any lioness was, of course, purest idiocy. So he'd just have to ignore the comment and complement her in return.
"Thank you, but it's your appearance that is far more...engaging," he told the stranger. "I don't believe I've ever seen a lioness as regal as you are."
She had definitely played this game before. And that was probably the most exciting thing about this whole meeting. There weren't too many lionesses he'd encountered who knew exactly what they were getting into with him.

She decided to take a little intiative, and circled him, if slowly. She let her eyes linger around, pleased that he was fit, confident, and ready to have a little fun. It was hard to lie to a lioness who had done this so many times before. Perhaps she should stop finding those young, inexperienced ones...males like the one before here were much more interesting.
"More than my appearance is engaging," she laughed. "You can call me Tala," she purred. "And every single compliment you feed me only makes me like you more." Her tail curled a bit as she came to stop just in front of her, drawing her chin a bit in to peer up at him. That golden mane was just too nice on the eyes!

The lion sat back on his haunches, relaxing as she examined him. He had no objections whatsoever to the event. It gave him a chance to study her as well. And she'd given him a name - that wasn't always the case in a meeting like that. He owed her the courtesy of his own in return.
"Tala," he mused aloud. "Simply yet...sexy," the lion purred. "I am Yareha Afaer."
He never saw any reason to be less than honest with the lionesses he met. Which was, he hoped, part of his charm, the fact that when he told them they were the loveliest creature he'd ever set eyes on, it was true because he believed it to be at the moment he gave voice to the words.
"Liking what you see?" the male asked seductively.

Tala never thought it was necessary to give her whole name. A little nickname of sorts was good enough for her. "I do like what I see, Yareha," she giggled. She sat back for juuuust a moment, enjoying the electricity that was bouncing between the two of them. It wouldn't last forever. Hell, it wouldn't even be too much longer until they started enjoying each other. There was no chase in this encounter, but it was a very fulfilling, flirtatious dance.
"I do, and I think I will enjoy it as well," she smiled sweetly. "You've already said I'm regal. I'm sure you'd like to find out more."
Passingly she wondered if he was mated, but that never, ever stopped her. With how experience he was...he certainly couldn't keep himself to one lioness, as pretty as he claimed she was at the moment!

He smiled back. "Somehow, I get the impression that you're always right," he replied. There was just...an aura about her that made him believe it. Not that he objected. He had a feeling that this was going to be an encounter to savor and remember.
"That being the case...shall we set to proving it?" After all, they'd both proven that they could use pretty words and hold in their inner carnal beast fairly well. Now...why not set it loose for a bit and have some real fun?
It was, he was now admitting to himself, a good thing that it hadn't worked out with Laelia. He missed her, a bit, but he'd have hated missing this opportunity even more. And now it came without the guilt of betraying someone he'd sworn to be loyal to!
Things would be a bit more convenient if he didn't have the pride's regard breathing down his back, but you couldnt' have everything in this life. Might as well make the best of what you got. And right now, there was a beautiful lioness in front of him, waiting for him to make the first move.
