Cotton Lilly's life away from her mother's den was an odd one. It felt really lonely. She visited her mom often, yes, but a lot of her siblings didn't. The blue eyed female was left with something missing after she left. Inquiring about it, she realized that it was normal. Every new grown rabbit went through this when they left their mothers for the first time. She supposed, however, it made her feel a bit better knowing she wasn't alone in this.
Soaking up in a sun patch on a rock, she stretched out and yawned, ears flopped beside her as she looked fully relaxed. She was going to try to not think about her mother today. That would help her out a great deal. Maybe she'd meet someone interesting to talk to. Too bad she was being so lazy.

A buck just happened to leap right over Cotton Lilly just a moment later, he was that one rabbit, the one that ran a circle about the down before settling for silflay. Though he never bothered to explain himself, Valerian thought his routine was essential for him to settle down at silflay.
He wouldn't be able to sit still long enough to eat otherwise. Though he thought himself rather odd in comparison to normal rabbits, he probably wasn't the strangest around. Valerian loved investigating things.
He hopped back over toward the doe and sat up on his hind legs. "Sorry about that... habit of mine."

She jumped when something thumped beside her and kind of bounded off. Her blue eyes opened wise as she stared at the buck and then let his herself relax. "Geeze, scare the life right out of me, why don't you?" She said with a laugh, not wanting to come off rude. She sat up on her back legs and pulled an ear forward for cleaning. He'd gotten dust on her! She Cotton Lilly wasn't vain, but she didn't like to be dirty. At least.. Not unless she absolutely had to be.
"I've seen you before, haven't I? Running about wildly.." Honestly, the name slipped her mind. But his coat certainly was memorable. "Sorry, manners. I'm Cotton Lilly." Her cheeks puffed up as she smiled, showing off that she definitely wasn't the thinnest rabbit about. She wasn't huge either, but somewhere in the middle.

Valerian bowed to her. "Apologies, I tend to like investigating my surroundings every morning." He sat up and twitched an ear. "To familiarize myself with the changes about the down and discover what could use more investigating. I didn't mean to startle you miss." He sat up then. "Oh where are my manners? Valerian, at your service, mam," he added with another 'bow'.
