He'd been following her for a few blocks now. Jarosite recognized her from school, though only in passing as she was a few years younger than him. He had been looking around the school for weeks now, looking to see if there were any who looked like good potential for the Negaverse. He himself couldn't turn them, but he'd decided to bring the matter up with Painite or another General if he found someone worthy of the task.
Now he'd found someone who looked like they'd be good, or at least fit in somewhere among the ranks. So he was tailing her, to learn more about her and observe. Jarosite wasn't one to just go up and impress his will on another; he was very much an informant and infilitrater type and worked as quietly as possible. The quieter he worked, the longer it took people to notice him, and the longer he stayed un-bruised. It had worked so far, so he was going to keep it up.
Granted... she was bound to notice eventually, even if he tried to stay a good half block behind her. Let's see how long it takes, shall we? he said to himself and smiled very briefly as he shifted his headphones on his head and continued to follow her.

Chiku hummed happily as she walked for home, headphones on and techno music filling her ears. For the moment, she didn't worry about the fact the books in her bag weren't for pleasure...they were for the paper caused by her Mom going 'you should do a report over the summer to keep your mind sharp!'. And she didn't notice that she was being followed. At least...not for a few blocks. After a bit, that odd feeling of being watched became too nagging to ignore, and she looked around, confused. Weird. Really weird.
She pulled her headphones down, keeping up her humming, though. Maybe whoever was hanging around would come and say hi? She continued on for the moment, hoping whoever it was made themselves known somehow so she could say 'hi'. A new acquaintance would be nice!

Jaro picked up his pace and slipped down an alley to arch around her and catch her from the front or side. The idea would be to ‘accidently’ run into her, and throw her off that he’d been tailing her. He executed it almost perfectly, though somehow ended up tripping over a trash can lid to do the running into. He stumbled out into the sidewalk in front of her and turned to glare at the trashcan. Someone put that stupid thing there just for this. He brushed off his coat and looked at her with an apologetic smile (even though he’d only stumbled into her path and not actually into her).
“Sorry about that, miss. I was chasing my cat through the alley back there and tripped over that infernal trash can lid,” he said to her, his voice more formal than his usual word cutting and teen slang. “Haven’t seen an oddly colored cat, sort of… blue and green and white, running through here, have you? With folded ears and no tail? Don’t worry if you haven’t; I’m sure she’s here somewhere…”
Okay the kitty!Albireo description was a very… long stretch, but it was a way to start the conversation at least. And maybe he’d put the white moon cats in a bad light by doing this too. He made a show of looking around for the cat, then ran a hand through his hair. Well, contact successful. Next stage, conversation.

Chiku startled, a bit surprised at the blue-haired young man that stumbled out onto the sidewalk in front of her. Well...whoever had been following her, she'd just have to say hi to later. "It's not a problem!" She smiled brightly. "I haven't seen a kitty like that, but I can help look for her!" Her smile metled into a more worried expression. "A missing kitty is no fun. And the poor girl might be scared!"
Chiku understood being worried about a pet...She knew she'd be worried if her snake went missing! Despite what so many others thought, pets were just as much a part of a person's family as humans were!
