Just called up to see what my results were for my Math Placement and i got into MA110! woop woop
it's just college algebra haha, but i'm glad i didn't get into MA085 since it's remedial and a waste of money.
now just gotta take the english placements on thursday and i think i'll be freeeee.
i'm not too sure about how it goes in the mainland but discuss:
- Entry Exams
- Math/English placement tests?

Took mine a couple years ago. I did fine with English. Failed the math horribly. xD
I failed the math class since I couldn't get help, and then I couldn't take the final because my mother died the day before.
I'm taking both classes I took that year again though, plus an English Comp class.

Got any tips with essay writing since there's like a 2 page essay in the english placement? blaugh

i'm just hoping the 3 essay choices are easy....
we only have like 30 minutes on that essay portion crying

Jesus, I hate math placement tests. I get all freaked out, and always screw up. My first placement test in college barely landed me in algebra...then after having to take algebra and trig (both were mind numbingly easy), I had to take another placement test because I scored so low on the first one, and placed in Calc 2 at the minimum. Pisses me off.
Standardized tests can kiss my a**.
Also, didn't have to take any placement tests for English because of AP credits. I had my pick from any English class I wanted.

I'm nervous to find out how i did on that essay....after finished mine i read it and i was not impressed and i looked at the other topic option and was like ffffffffffffffffffffffu i should have taken that one. but what can we do now crying
