Custom: Full
Character Name: Dorenelic Maldor (Doren)
Race: Dovaa
Gender: Male
Clan: Aiskala
Class:N/A
Appearance: Pale, with long, somewhat messy platinum blonde hair (later to turn offwhite/lightblue). Light/medium blue scales by eyes, pointed ears that have silver hoop earrings with dangling purple beads/gems. Horns are antler like with pointed ends, blue with white cracking 'veins' hanging off the end of one are a string of silver bells.. Long dark blue nails, small scale patches on shoulders and hips.
Outfit is a fur lined vest, (black) and the vest itself has a silver chain clasp. Black choker with a silver key hanging from it, and tanned leather bracers and knee high boots also trimmed with fur. Light tan pants, (tuck into boots), and a black fox pelt around the waist.
Personality:

Sarcastic: In actions and words, Doren likes and enjoys being a d**k. From mocking someone's actions to their words, he is an a** more often then not. There are two ways he does this, one is when he likes or is familiar as a person and only aims to tease. The other time is when he genuinely does not like a person, at which he is flat out rude and disrespectful. The only time he refrains from being sarcastic is when it's actual business and he must be professional in order to get work done. Often not caring about feelings, he tends to assume if people get overly offended they simply take it too personally.

Perverted: Admiring the physical form is something favored for Doren, who happily will flirt with just about anyone or anything. Race doesn't matter to him that much, and if pushed away he tends to just press harder. He's stubborn and only relents if he begins causing actual distress. It's harmful to others if they take him seriously, as often enough he's joking about his determination, but when he does state his interest it's honest, as are the compliments he'll slather on.

Arrogant: Bold, brash, and a bit stubborn, Doren tends to think he is untouchable, as untrue as it maybe. He knows very well his place and the boundaries of his rank and position, but he aims for better and thinks himself better and worth more than what he is. He'll boast about his accomplishments and downplay others, all while ignoring his failures. He'd call himself perfect if only he had better manners, (which he well knows he lacks).

Logical/Practical: As far as being a perverted, rude, d**k is concerned, Doren is still practical and logical. He's not about to mouth off at employers, or, at those he needs to ally himself with. He's not going to make an uninformed decision. He won't pick something wasteful, nor will he go out of his way to be wasteful. He manages his time, his skills, and plans ahead and for things unexpected. He is not a risk taker, aside from flirting. For that he thinks you have to take risks.

Critical: When Doren works, he aims to be the best and prove he's the best. This includes giving work all his effort and being a perfectionist. It can make him a bit cynical at times, but he does think he can get things don and done right. He does pick on mistakes by others as well as himself, and he also tends to notice small things, such as lose threads, spelling errors, misplaced items in general.

Non confrontational: Not a ******** was given, he couldn't give two shakes of a s**t, Doren does not care about the world's troubles so much as he cares about his own. If he can avoid conflict and confrontation he will, because he really does not care for it. He might make conflict with his attitude, but he won't actively look for a fight or follow up with a fight. If it's needed, he'll do it reluctantly, but overall he simply does not care for it and prefers to avoid it

Biography/Background: He's the last son in a long line of sons and daughters and as such, has been pretty much left to his own devices from an early age. His folks died when he was about 10 and Doren just kind of went floating from elder sibling to elder sibling. He's got a bit of a mixed expectation on which clan to join because of it, not to mention each of his 16 siblings want something different for him or from him. To just 'deal' with it, Doren has emotionally semi-cut himself off from them as a result, and tends to respond to them with crass. They still love him, and he them, but they all understand that he's not going to bend to any one of them. His education has not been lacking so much as it's been scattered, and Doren tends to go 'ehhhh' at most forms of formal training. He likes doing things on his own. He likes his freedoms.
Sadly he doesn't get them. Currently, his siblings are looking to find a more 'permanent ' home for him. AKA: who gets to deal with the baby of the family.
Thoughts on the Great Engagement: Why can't the gods stop acting like children and everyone actually do something productive. That isn't fighting. He really thinks if everyone chilled a bit, they could work it out. Maybe. Or maybe the God Abronaxus beat his sisters up a bit maybe they would realize how dumb they are and stop this s**t. Or just get rid of them. That is kind of appealing too.
Thoughts on the Dragons: Doren looks at them and goes. 'Yeah. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.' He understands the whole 'fight the dragons for dragon souls' deal but to be frank he thinks it's rather sad given the Dovaa connection to dragons. Doren thinks they deserve their own and really, didn't ask to kind of get stuck with a bunch of bickering gods and their creations. They do have to fight, and Doren will do so if somewhat reluctantly. His pity for dragons doesn't mean he's willing to throw away his own life, but he's not going to go greatly out of his way to fight them. If they fight they fight, if he's invited to go hunting one? He'll need more reason than, 'getting a dragon soul'. If it appeals to his ego sure. If it's got other bonuses sure. If someone needs help and can't be persuaded to be lazy or more relaxed when it comes to fighting? He'll go, if to watch or just make sure they don't die. It pretty much depends on the situation.

You should indicate if it's a Full Custom or Semi-Custom.

Also...everyone has to start at apprentice stage, no one can jump to Adept stage right away. Unless Brolis changed his policy >>;

Hmm...wrong spelling on the Antler part XD Just wanted to point that out.

Ah, since everyone has to start at Apprentice these are ages: 10-13yo. So making a HUGE part of his personality to be a flirtatious dude and being a d**k is kind of...I don't know. I have a hard time thinking of 13 year olds as highly sexed up individuals. >>; Yeah. They're kids...need to grow and all.

Another issue for me is that fact that he's so accepting of all the races. One really has to take in the fact that WoM is a war-torn world with the races fighting each other pretty much constantly. It's not Us vs Dragons. It's more US vs Them and to grow vs Dragons.

So you have to explain his philosophies why he's so accepting despite WoM being very War Like.

And...I think you forgot to put in a Background History. O__o

Also place of dwelling, family and such?
Clan backgrounds are very important especially when it comes to Dovaas.

Considering the forms themselves are different I would assume that the type of custom didn't need to be stated?

And I can't find where it says that @ having to start at apprentice. It was no where in the quest sticky, and I checked all other information threads. If you can cite this then yes I'll take your word for it, but as it's not stated and the custom form even includes the Expert stage it does lead to the idea that one could get a custom at the expert stage. If this is a rule, I honestly can't find it, which has... kind of been my problem with most of the information here OTL

Background was not included in the custom form, nor was any of the other information, so it's not that it was forgotten, so much as not included because it's not needed.

I just want to say that the questing sticky needs updating baaaadly. Sorry for any confusion. But yes, all customs and semi customs need to be at Apprentice stage. It's not fair that one would start any later and get all those
Benefits. Only reason Ig is that way is because he's an NPC

Be sure to use the new form when creating characters. ^-^ The thread was updated after your quest was started, it's just a matter of copy/pasting the information you already have there and adding in some extras! ^-^

Though the character himself seems very interesting. Enjoying his 'bad side' is going to make him a fun person to interact with, though I don't expect him to make many friends. xDD

I really do want to see what he does with the Great Engagement and his thoughts on the Dragons. >:3 Will he fight them only if need be, because he doesn't like conflict, though he will definitely be causing some major conflict with his personality. XD

As for his looks, the only thing that is getting to me is his hair color. In a Dovaa, their hair is more of a natural human-like hair, which then dyes as he is changed from his pre-clan choosing to his actual clan. So, maybe his first stage could be a more natural hair color (like blond or even platinum blond) and when he grows up, choosing Aiskala will actually make his hair change permanently anyways to that blue/off white color you want. :3 Like Kav, she has blonde hair originally, but with the addition of the Ysali orb, she now has a streak of lime green. And Samril now has golden tips at the end of his brown hair in reflection with the Kiandri. So it just all depends. Sometimes Dovaa's hair reacts slightly or majorly, and sometimes it doesn't really react whatsoever. So in your case, it could react majorly. Other than that, he is perfectly fine with his looks. :3

As far as the Statistics go, all that is required is the INT, DEF, and ATK points. The rest is really just all done already. Like LP and ENG will both start at 50 ALWAYS, and LUK is always at 1. So when I say statistics in the thread, all I really mean is the three you put the points into. Yours look good though. :3

This looks like it is a very promising quest! <33 I'm excited to see what else stems from him. :3

Very nice and detailed biggrin I get the vibe from him that he's all talk no action. Though his "who care's, I don't want to fight if it's only for their soul" attitude towards dragons does mean it'll be difficult leveling up. Or he could just spar with others a lot... which given how you wrote him up, that might happen XD
