Kyrielle had enjoyed the Festival and meeting new friends. She had just known Aila and Thalanir for the longest time that it was nice to meet new people. Before departing the festival, they had all agreed to meet once again, but perhaps in a place that was...less crowded as to suit every one's likings. The plain just outside the castle had been decided upon, where everyone would be safe and that everyone could find. Making sure that she was early, she sat down in the meadow and picked some long stems of grass and began braiding them together.

Since our characters had somewhat met and all.

Lunar Mirage

Himura Rikuo

Yalls characters didn't technically meet ours but from what had gone on in the meta, it would seem logical that the two of them might think it odd for a group to gather outside the castle, even if they are of the good alignment and have chosen. Just thought yall might wanna join in too. <3

Reo shifted her bag the festival was over but here she was back again. The city seemed so much less crowded now that it wasn’t filled to the brim with people and Azrein. She was thankful that she didn’t have to go in the city anyway though. She looked back at Alu-lote and Luin. Both had decided to accompany her this time. Of course Luin was more interested in skirting the city again than she was in seeing others. “You know there won’t be as many food venders in the town now.” She looked over her shoulder at Luin to see the Azrein smile and ignore her. Ah well. There really is no helping that one. Looking around she wondered exactly where they were all supposed to meet again. Right now she was lost and while she was fairly certain she was in the right area she wasn’t one hundred percent certain. Dont worry bonded Im certain well find it sooner or later. I look forward to meeting those who sparked your interest. Well you’ll see soon enough Alu-lote. If we ever find them that is.

About the time that Kyrielle had finished braiding the grass pieces, a small dot accompanied by two larger dots appeared at the edge of her vision. A smile crossed the girls face as she stood and waved, beginning to walk towards them. Once she got close enough, she shouted, "I wasn't sure if anybody was going to come." Kyri's face was friendly as she greeted the girl and the two azrein accompanying her.

((Question, would you want it to be before the proclamation or after?))

(herp derp. I really need to read my RPs before I go into the thread… *laughs at self* Can we have it before or rather on way to this meeting?)

Recognizing the raven hair Reo smiled and waved back still feeling a bit out of place under those too deep sapphire eyes. Still she was glad to see Kyrielle after all it meant that she hadn’t gotten quite as lost as she thought she had been. Luck and skill are two different things, don’t confuse the two or you’ll end up in trouble one day. I know I know. And you’ll be there to laugh at me. Of course. Reo giggled not really feeling the mirth that normally accompanied her and Luin’s banter. As Kyrielle came closer Reo realized that the other girl didn’t know Alu-lote yet so this would be a good time for introductions. “Of course I came. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I’m sure you remember Luin.” “Luin Olos Ithil Mallen” “but this is Alu-lote.”

Alu-lote dipped her head in greeting to the human girl. She was a bit surprised her bonded had picked an outgoing person to become friends with. After all Reo usually tended to avoid or somehow discourage such people. It was a good thing, and yet somehow Alu-lote worried more now for her bonded with the recent tragedy that hung in the air like a looming black cloud. "Its a pleasure to meet you."

Kyrielle smiled at Reo as she introduced her other bonded. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Alu-lote, and it's nice to see you again Luin. Did you enjoy the festival?" She asked politely. Waving her hand towards the middle of the clearing where she had been sitting before, the young woman started walking again so they could all sit and relax.

((I'm sorry my replies suck. >.<))

“Oh yes I most definitely did. The food in this land is wondrous.” Reo rolled her eyes and followed Kyrielle further into the clearing. “I take it our other friend has yet to come?” Reo wondered if perhaps all the rumors that flew around would make anyone else not want to come. After all a meeting of any since with the rumors that had flown during the festival had been scary enough. It was nice that nothing happened but that didn’t ease her mind since it seemed the news of increasing troubles would not stop in the quieter areas she traveled. Oh course she felt silly for worrying. After all what would happen? It was pointless to worry over nothing.

Alu-lote nudged Luin and looked at the human girl as if to ask what was up with her. Such a strange way to deal with new individuals. Still she supposed it was nice that the girl had moved so that she and Luin could come into the clearing more. “Kyrielle may I ask what it is you do?” She noticed how Kyrielle carried herself with an ease and grace she was unfamiliar with.

(They do not. You just had a brain block. Everyone gets them)

Kyrielle shook her head, "I haven't heard anything from her and did not even see her after the festival for long. I hope she's okay..." The girl had few friends and wanted to keep the ones she had. Leaning back, she propped herself up with her arms. At the mare's question, Kyri blushed a little bit. "I'm a dancer and a musician...I used to travel by myself from town to town, hiring myself out where I though I could earn decent coin. It wasn't the best living, but its a lot better than some..." She thought about Thalanir's profession, and the things he did for money and it made the hair on the back of her neck rise. Sure she didn't approve of his occupation, but it's what bought them food, what took care of her, her chosen, and his chosen. It's what kept her from having to dance unless she wanted to, to be able to play her instruments for fun. "After I met Thalanir, well, it was a rocky start, but we fell in love...and his...occupation allows me to be a little more selective with my employers. I may not like what he does, but it puts food on the table." Cheeks blushed red as she looked away. "What of you, Reoakee?" She asked politely.

What does he do? How should I know? You could always ask~ I’m not that curious. Awww…. You’re no fun. “I’m a trader, and herbalist.” Luin looked at Kyrielle with mischief in her eyes.“Murder or theft?” “Ignore her, if you answer she’ll just keep going.” Reo swatted Luin in the shoulder but the mare just ignored it and started to walk around the clearing looking at the plants and trees. Honestly Luin was so troublesome. Flopping down next to Kyrielle she let out a long sigh. “I wish I could dance, but I think you’d have a better chance of teaching Luin some manners.” My manners are perfect. I choose not to use them. Reo snorted and rolled her eyes smiling. She could feel Alu-lote move behind her and lay down so that Reo could lean back. Ah she loved how thoughtful Alu-lote was. “Thank you Alu-lote.” Reo took advantage of the situation to lean back and snuggle into Alu-lote’s side a bit. Her hair got tangled in Alu-lote’s feathers but Reo didn’t mind at all. She pulled a small pouch out from her belt. She took out a few pieces of seaweed. She offered one to Kyrielle. It was dried and a dark green color. It wasn’t as tasty as the festival food was but it was healthy and safe to eat. “Care for something to snack on?”

Oh dear. Alu-lote loved her bonded and was so glad that Reo made a friend but did it have to be one with a dangerous mate? Still Alu-lote couldn’t fault the girl after all she looked lonely, besides she knew Dante would kill to defend her and their children. Who was to say this Thalanir wasn't like that? Laying down behind the two she watched as Luin circled the clearing. So much energy and excitement over the strangest things. Alu-lote didn’t understand Luin at all.

Kyrielle was somewhat shocked at the boldness in which Luin spoke and wanted to reply to defend her mate but after Reo's warning, she decided to listen to the azrein's chosen. "Dancing isn't difficult if you can have practice. Some have that innate talent for it, while others practice to get their skill, as is with everything else in this world. An herbalist is useful though, much more practical than being traveling entertainment." She complimented the other girl.

A smile rose to her mouth as she saw the more calm mare lay down behind Reo so she could lean back, then she was offered a piece of what looked like dried grass. Shrugging and not knowing exactly what it was, she took it anyway. Kyri took a hesitant bite out of it and it was surprisingly tastey. Sure not as good as some things, but the girl was sure it had to be healthy for you. "Thank you, this is very good."

A light blush crossed Reo’s cheeks. She wasn’t used to being complimented. “Useful, but never as well received as something so exotic and exciting as a dancer. You see I’m from a small village that has traders coming and going, adventures too. I know that dancers or those who can lighten hearts are well received by such parties. Healers are only come to in a panic with a problem.” Reo sighed feeling the exasperation about adventurers. If the fools only used a bit of care or asked advice before hand they would never have ended up in such messes. Why were people so stupid at times? Waving away such thoughts she focused on the seaweed she gave Kyrielle. “You’re welcome. It’s seaweed. Dried and not as sweet as I’d like but it’s full of nutrients and is easy to carry, the only problem is making sure you don’t eat too much of it. If you ate enough to feel full you’d have eaten enough to give yourself some serious health issues.” Reo blinked and looked at Luin sharply for a moment and then went back to her relaxed posture.

Luin continued to circle the clearing put off by the fact the girl hadn’t answered her question. It was a perfectly reasonable one. Either profession would be useful at times. She didn’t understand why humans made different jobs only then to not talk about them. It was so much easier amongst the Azrein in her opinion. She didn’t see any threats so far. There was a small slender root that had little barbs on it. Luin mentally described it to Reo and asked her what it was. I don’t know but don’t touch it. Luin felt a little buzz in her mind and knew that Reo was talking with Alu-lote.

Thinking for a moment, her head cocked to the side. She supposed Reo was right, though healers were more still practical. "I suppose you're right, though healers are needed all the same." She said kindly while nibbling on the seaweed. It surprised her how things were, how something that could be good for you, but if eaten too much could be harmful.

She fiddled with the grass, pulling strands out and braiding them, feeling awkward and not sure what to say. "Do you travel a lot being a healer?" She grasped at the first thing that popped into her head.

Thalanir and Damir hurried to where Kyri had told them to meet her. Thalanir was returning from a job, one he needed the assistance of Damir on since Cece had... well.. gone away for a bit. He was astride the great indigo colored male when they saw figures in the distance. Kyri!! We come!" Damir called out with his mind towards his bonded, trumpeting aloud as he did so. Thalanir chuckled as he leaned down over Damir's neck to get better balance so the stallion could race towards the two women.

Once he was close enough, Thalanir jumped down off of the stallion, being careful not to damage his lute or his new flute as he did so. The pretty metal flute, rare for these times, was a portion of the payment he received for his latest job. "Kyri my love. I have returned, safe from harm. And you will find no markings upon your bonded, as promised." He grinned teasingly as he bent down to kiss her cheek.

Kyri jumped at the voice in her mind. A smile instantly gracing her face. Giving her friends warning, "Reo, my bonded and my mate will join us in just a moment." She smiled as she stood just in time for Thal and Damir to join them. Relishing at his kiss, it was good to be reunited with him again. It's good to see you're safe Damir. I suppose we can catch up later. Turning from her bonded and mate, she looked to Reo and Alu-lote. "Reo, I don't believe you and your bonded got a chance to meet my bonded or mate at the festival. This is my mate, Thalanir Ademar, and my bonded, Damir. Damir, Thal, this is Reoakee, Alu-lote, and Luin Olos Ithil Malen." She introduced, remembering that Luin liked to be introduced by her full name.

“No I don’t travel too much I usually stay pretty close to the village..” Reo blinked at Kyri’s announcement. Well at least things are finally happening. Oh play nice. I refuse. Reo could only shake her head as a man and Azrein came into the clearing. Reo nodded. She knew she had seen the man at the festival. His hair had been pulled back into a leather thong then as well. The Azrein that the man came in with was stunning. Reo got up and dusted herself off so that Alu-lote could stand up. “Nice to meet the both of you. I’m afraid I don’t know much about the two of you, but Kyrielle and I haven’t known each other long enough to trade life stories.” She smiled at the pair and heard Alu-lote stand behind her. “Greetings. It’s is a pleasure to meet such a handsome pair.” Alu-lote didn’t really mean anything other than to be polite and pay a compliment. She had a wonderful friend in Dante and two perfect children by him and wouldn’t change it for the world.

Luin walked away from the root and made not to bring the subject up again about it latter. She trotted over to the males and looked down at the elf calmly. “I hope you’ll be kind enough to answer. I asked your mate earlier but my bonded’s interference prevented and answer. Is your occupation theft or murder?” She could hear a crack as Reo’s palm suddenly found its way to the owner’s forehead. Does that hurt bonded? It sounded like it did. Her bonded only replied with a sigh of exasperation.

Damir laughed at the other azrein's and humans as he cuddled Kyrielle. "I've missed you Kyri... Though you need to ask Thalanir about his close call when we are alone once more..." He said to her, blocking off what had happened so she couldn't take it from his mind.

Thalanir smiled at the woman and her azrein. "It is a pleasure to meet you, I am sorry I have been unable to before." He smiled kindly and listened to the pretty azrein's question as he turned to her, oblivious to the prior discussion. "Well... I am a mercenary. I do what I am hired.. sometimes it involves killing others, but I never take on that kind of job when I know the person at the end is innocent. And I would never steal." he answered softly. "But sometimes, more often than not, my job is simply to help out in fields or at a place of business."
