Story

On a small mysterious island in the Bermuda Triangle where none dare venture, there live a small colony of 'Mutants' that the Scientists that were scientifically altered before birth into half animal hybrids. They were raised up until the age of sixteen and then abandoned on the Island after having their memories erased. They had been disconnected from the outside world their whole lives. Now divided into sides that should have stayed together they will have to deal with the disapperances of the other Mutants on the island and figure out why they are being taken away. Will they be able to get over their differences and stop the disapperances?

Please follow the Gaia TOS. It's a pretty simple rule, so if you don't follow it, we'll... well, we have to follow them, too. But it's bad.

The roleplay isn't all about one character. It's about multiple characters working together to overcome their problems. Please don't try to make it you-centric.

Cursing is acceptable to a degree, but I've been instructed to hunt down those who go too crazy with it. I'm lazy. Don't make it an issue.

We will say this once: write a moderately-sized paragraph. Please. No one- or two-liners; the least acceptable is three lines. My writing partner up there manages, and she suffers from dyslexia. I manage, and I haven't roleplayed much in over a year. I'm sure you can, too.

Pretty posts are very nice, while plain ones are... well, unremarkable. However, on the other end of the spectrum, gigantic pictures will be presented with an offer of resizing and/or a request to change.

Bullying will not be tolerated. I have a chainsaw and it can't be that difficult to use it. To prove you read the rules, add a yummi into your post somewhere.

No killing characters with or without permission. It's rude and practically useless. No constant fighting, either; it gets monotonous.

Godmodding is not acceptable. I don't really know what else to say. It's just not right.

Your character has been memory wiped. No exceptions. No "special" people allowed. "Special" people will be culled and turned into paint.

Roles

Ok before we get to the good part remember that these are mutant teenagers. You dont look amazingly beautiful once you have metamorphed. In fact they wont be very attractive at all. I dont care how pretty they are when they look more Human-ish. They can be downright sexy for all i care. Oh and another thing. When they look more Human-ish they will still have one or two of their animal's characteristics still visible. The Leader's are the Leader's for a reason. They are the oldest and the more dominant on the island. Also, Shea and i have desided that we want our characters to not have any kind of romance what so ever... Maybe but we will cross that page if and i might add that is a big 'IF' if that happens and if this rare event happens it will probably happen between our characters because we know how we RP. Now onto the actual roles!

Location Setting & Background Knowlage

They are on a small island in the Bermuda Triangle where there is an old research facility. There will be no television, computer, etc. There will be a small library which will basically hold folklore, medieval fantasy, and animal research books. They all have chips embedded in each shoulder that sends a strong electric shock through their bodies if they go out of bounds. There are no Mini skirts, leather of any kind, and cowboy boots. There are long skirts, sundresses, sneakers, sandals, work boots, jeans, long sleeved shirts, and t-shirts.

She's light and quick, a fighter in every instance, which has gotten her a fair amount of criticism from others up to now.
Apperance: She tends to wear more boyish and practical clothing.

Benefits of Instincts: She can find her way around and perform everyday tasks, as well as being a fair quick fighter - not a heavy fighter - which is a great accomplishment, considering...

Extra: As for fighting, she can manage to be in and out of her opponent's reach in a flash, considering she's quick and light, but up against someone who was serious about fighting and heavy in blows - like the Shark or the Wolf - she would be seriously injured or even killed.

Personality: James is rather akward when it comes to being social but that wont stop him from trying to 'hang out' with his friends. He likes to just slow down and take things easy but as soon as someone challanges his dominance he will not hesitate to take them down. He is cheerful, calm, and protecting of those he cares about.
Apperance: Nothing other then the fact that he has one row of razor sharp teeth.

Animal Instincts: He has an amazing sense of smell.
Benefits of Instincts: There are none... Well actually he can use his sense of smell to track things back.
Flaws of Instincts: When he catches on to the scent of blood he goes into a frenzy. The more blood the more chaotic he is.
