--------------------------------------------------
Hitomu: Utility Model (C Rank) HP: 100 SPD: 7
Microflation: Halo Effect - A reassuring basic attack; after it has been performed utilities cannot be prevented from working on the following round by effects of opposing flations or utilities.
Mezzoflation: Dawn Raid - A lightning-fast attack that receives absolute priority -meaning additional effects from attacks and utilities are only applied after damage calculation, negating most of their effects-. Microflation: Open Outcry - a confusing attack from every direction. While it's not very damaging it cannot be avoided.
"Get a move on... Kujo." the voice was gentle and awfully level but hid a menace that many, Kujo included, knew fairly well. His Asset wasn't one of the most tolerable ones around despite not looking the part. In his opinion, Sissel needn't really scold him as he was not one to keep others waiting, but at the same time he didn't show early either; he was fairly happy with the mediocre 'just in time' medium he had used others to all this while. His stride was even, self-assured almost but without the hint of arrogance that seemed to follow a lot of high-ranked Entrés. As a matter of fact he could easily be confused with every other random guy around. There wasn't anything notable about himself.. he was all-round plain- and had found that this kind of appearance suited him best and was one of his greatest benefactors to boot.
But he knew there were people watching. And one trained enough would figure there was at least some minor -if nothing- significance to his person. There were always onlookers to his Deals wherever he went in any case; people that simply liked his fighting style, some fans even but mostly people trying to analyze him to take him down more easily. Despite their efforts, however, Kujo had been proven quite the tough cookie to beat.
He fixed his jacket on his shoulder a little as he turned a corner to come into the Deal's location looking like someone who was simply running late to a date of some sort. And for the first time he paused and checked his opponent's data -in that later than he should way that infuriated his best friend so- and realized that he was facing off against a beginner and found himself sighing. "Etetete... I'm a bad... bad choice to make your debut..." he offered instead of a greeting frowning visibly and raising his shoulders in exasperation. But there was little he could do at this point in time. At the very least he couldn't hurt the boy's bank account if he wanted to. He took another moment to fix his hair and took a couple steps forward despite Sissel's piercing glare at his back. "It's okay~" he laughed softly, his usual smile painting itself back on his face as teal colored eyes sparked vividly with that spark of boundless energy that always appeared to burn in them. "Allow me to make your acquaintance anyway~ Good luck with that~" he waved his hand at the boy before swiping it across his card -pitch black, darker than any other Kujo had seen so far-, rushing into it headfirst.
"Open Deal! Let's go Sissel!" at his command his Asset took but a split second to flick fiery red locks out of her field of vision and sprung into the air, preparing to attack. "Microflation!" he shouted out going for the first hit. "Open Outcry!" if he could not keep this Deal from occurring, he decided, at least he could give the boy a good, fair first experience; for what Hanamura, 'Hana-chan', Kujo knew best was that feeling of being overwhelmed, entirely alone and forced to face the whole world against you. Sisel dashed ahead, fearlessly as always like the battling ojou-sama she was, transparent wings splitting into multiple copies to be launched almost at projectiles from every direction.

Jun had arrived for the deal rather early, his nerves having got the better of him. What would happen if he was late? Would that mean he'd forfeit the deal? He really didn't want to think about what the consequences of a forfeit would be, and besides - it was his first deal! He couldn't possibly let himself be late. He needed to make a good showing, try to get a good handle on what a deal entailed. Despite his intentions, showing up early had only led to Jun pacing back and forth, with Hitomu just watching him.
He'd never done anything like this before. Why had he agreed to this? A deal - it sounded like a fight, or a duel, and those weren't exactly in his area of expertise. Nami utterly destroyed him every time they played one of those arcade fighting games, and while he didn't think you had to worry about hitting correct button combinations during a deal, surely some elements were still the same. What was he doing? Jun was well on his way to just making himself panic even worse, when Hitomu finally spoke up.
"Stop for a moment. Just stop pacing, and take a breath. Even if we lose, it's only our first deal - it won't be that bad," Hitomu tilted his head to the side, offering up in a thoughtful tone, "Besides - we might even win."
Listening to Hitomu's advice, Jun stopped and let out a breath, closing his eyes very briefly as he attempted to be calm. When he re-opened them, he saw his opponent approaching.
Well, his opponent didn't look very threatening. He looked - well...normal. Not what he'd expect someone fighting in such an odd place to look like. Jun felt a little sheepish about that, but he'd been wondering if maybe everyone here tended to look and behave like Masakaki - or like Hitomu. Jun shot a quick glance at his asset; an asset with his wrists bound also looked pretty non-threatening. The other man's asset, a human-looking girl, seemed much more aggressive than Hitomu did; Hitomu was just hovering there, watching the proceedings with an air of faint curiousity and patience. And a good bit more calm than Jun, who was still shifting his weight from foot to foot even if he's managed to derail the spiral of panic he'd been engaging in.
Bad choice? He couldn't help but feel a bit irritated at that; how's he supposed to know who to pick for a first fight? It wasn't like there was a guidebook to explain it to him!
That irritation driving him, Jun opened his mouth to respond after a moment, when the other man offered up a smile and laughed. While he'd intended to make some sort of rebuttal to the 'bad choice' comment, he instead floundered for a moment before offering up a somewhat bewildered, "...good luck to you. Although I hope I get more luck, I think."
Yes, irritation combined with his almost instinctive politeness resulted in an extremely lackluster comment, whether it was taken as positively or negatively. And as soon as it came out of his mouth, he felt his irritation surge back up, as himself this time, for making such an idiotic statement. He thought he wanted more luck? Why'd he even offer up luck to his opponent if he was going to follow it up with that?
The start of the deal prevented him from distracting himself any further with that train of thought, however. Sisel launching projectiles at Hitomu startled him, only able to watch in surprise as they seemed to come from every direction. Hitomu didn't even try to dodge, instead just pulling in slightly as he saw the futility in trying to dodge an attack from every possible angle; instead, he just prepared for their own attack.
While Jun had planned on starting slow - Hitomu had given him a brief explanation of his abilities - the sudden attack and the reality of the deal made him feel a spike of alarm, and he decided to go more swiftly on the offensive.
"Dawn Raid!" Hitomu suddenly darted towards Sisel, and the grey that wrapped around him glowed faintly as a tendril of it whipped out to strike at the other asset.
Jun swiftly followed that up with another cry, of "Saitori!" This time, however, there didn't seem to be anything visible happen. He just hoped that this worked out - he had tried to craft a battle plan earlier, but he'd been having trouble what with not actually knowing what his opponents were capable of.

Sisel Utility Model (S-Rank) HP: 181 SPD: 7
Macroflation: Circuit Breaker - an attack that collars an opposing Asset, dealing damage and halting it for a turn.
Utility: (rank s) Dept Security - freezes part of the opponents fund making them unable to use their highest rank abilities for a round
Fast. Kujo noticed it a moment later than he should have. Too fast. By some miracle -or if his guess was right some trick about the strangely serene-looking Asset's flation- Sisel found herself outpaced in her attack as she was stricken down quite harder than Kujo had ever anticipated despite her own flation landing seconds ago. Sent back flying mostly by the opposing flation as well as her own speed Sisel found herself a step behind. "Okay, it's okay~" Kujo chimed softly to reassure her. It would be okay, no matter what; Sisel was strong enough so she could take an attack or two even if they hit hard like this. He only needed to figure out what the trick behind that lightning speed was.
"It's okay." he called out again, this time at his opponent rather than his Asset. "Even if you lose here nothing's going to be subtracted from your account because of the rank difference rule. So let's use this time to get you warmed up for the real action, mm?" He couldn't help it but want to be friendly. The bespectacled boy was looking somewhat confused at the very least but he was proving to be certainly capable, efficient at the very least. Plus... something in that attack reminded him of his first time. An opening with a Mezzoflation no less... reckless but it was effective and had managed to deal quite some damage too. His Asset appeared to be much like Sisel also. A mostly humanoid grey-themed utility model... at the very least he looked to be less ill-behaved than her, he thought; which was a good thing if nothing. "I decided~ from now on you'll be my little brother!" he laughed, swiping his hand across his card once more. "Activate Utility. Dept Security." he commanded simply. "Follow up! Macroflation! Circuit Breaker!" because it didn't matter if he would win or lose still but he wasn't fond of ties or any sort of defeats in any case. And even if he went easy on the boy he subsequent opponents wouldn't.
Sisel landed on the ground and dashed ahead once more pushing off the ground and propelling herself at the opposing Asset with as much strength her feet, clad in boots of steel, could provide. Seconds later she collided with the Asset, the flation connecting as she ended up almost crashing through the block of reality that the other Asset belonged in causing the entire space to glitch in what was generally referred to as a collar, a zone that negated the target's time for as long as it lasted. That invaluable ability had bought Sisel and himself quite some time in past Deals, time enough to do anything at all, time to turn even the most difficult of situations around. He flicked a strand of hair, readying a follow up when he noticed that for another time something was wrong.
The collar didn't seem to keep in place, fading out faster than it should have. Whatever it was the other Asset had done it seemed to be effectively negating the Circuit Breaker's additional effect. He blinked, making a quick dash backwards for Sisel to follow after him in an attempt to put some distance in between himself and his opponent to gain some extra time to piece together what was going on. If he couldn't use his tricks did it mean he just had to rely to battling that kid directly? He didn't like the sound of that very much. It wasn't that he felt threatened... simply that he simply didn't fight that way so being forced to compromise by a newbie no less hurt just a little. He sighed, wiping his brow with the back of his hand, watching carefully for his opponent's next move. At the very least they weren't entirely open now as opposed to seconds ago.

Microflation: Halo Effect - A reassuring basic attack; after it has been performed utilities cannot be prevented from working on the following round by effects of opposing flations or utilities.
"Little brother?" Jun felt even more confused at that comment, staring at Kujo; why would his opponent decide that? He didn't know whether to take that as an insult or a compliment; either he seemed to pathetic that the other man wanted to help him, or he'd impressed him. If his opponent was offering to help him...well, the other man did have a much higher rank, so it was probably worthwhile to try to be friendly
The opponent seemed friendly at least, so it was probably meant in a positive manner; offering up that tidbit about how it wouldn't actually hurt his account if he lost made him think this was a good first deal after all, like a practice deal. He still wanted to win, of course, and after seeing the results of his attacks, he felt a surge of optimism. At the very least, he was keeping his opponent on his toes.
Jun worried as the other asset crashed into Hitomu, and something odd happened - he wasn't sure what that was supposed to do, but it didn't seem to work like his opponent had thought. That strange space around Hitomu faded swiftly, and the asset just stayed where he was as he and Jun watched their opponents dart away. Jun had no idea what might be going through Hitomu's mind - the grey-skinned humanoid was watching Sisel with what looked like might almost be a smile, the edges of his lips curled up in amusement - but his mind was busy whirring away at crafting a plan.
The other man seemed cautious now, unsure of what was going on - so he would probably be cautious. It was clear that his attack hadn't done what it was supposd to, likely because of Jun's Saitori, and wasn't likely to waste a powerful attack on this turn. Or at least Jun hoped he wouldn't. So, hoping to gain something of an advantage by confusing his opponent, he deactivated the Saitori utility, and felt his nerves rise as he fretted about his plan working. It might just result in more damage, if the other man didn't react like he thought he would. Taking that moment, he offered up a hesitant introduction to his opponent, "Matsura Jun. If you're calling me little brother, I should probably know your name too."
Pushing aside his nerves to focus on the battle, Jun then activated his next attack. "Microflation: Halo Effect!" Hitomu swept closer to the other asset, his attack this time using the red tendrils that extended from behind him, rather than the grey ones. This attack was slower than the other, but also seemed to involve light - rather than emanating from inside, the light collected around the tendrils and then fired the light at Sisel in glowing projectiles.
