Currently with [ No one in particular. ] Only thinking [ "This is lovely~" ] My mood? [ Content ] It was a beautiful New Years Eve; the weather was perfect and getting warmer as the day progressed, and the people of Raynebow Valley were extremely festive and cheery. As dusk began to fall, everyone rushed around, trying to get to their respective parties and gatherings, except Keisuke. It wasn’t as if he didn’t have a place to go; he had gotten many invitations to attend dinners at various homes, and there was always the banquet at City hall that he could make an appearance at, but instead he chose the Town Square. The night was charming, and inspiring and he felt like he would be better serve the people here if he could amuse them while they rushed around in good spirits. So there he stood, an empty black leather case laid open at his feet and the musician’s cheek rubbed gently against the breast of his beloved as he stroked her gently with his bow. The violin made a beautiful sound at his expert touch, music spiralling in the night air around him. Every so often someone would pause in their jaunt from one place to another and listen, and their smiles touched his heart more than the spare coins they dropped into his violin case. Making people happy was what he enjoyed the most, and this was the peek of that desire. How could he want anything more than to bring in the new year for others with the sound of beautiful music?

Usually her little dog would keep her company at times like this, but when she was going to leave the house Cinnamon was fast asleep. Alissa always took to heart that saying to leave sleeping dogs alone so she went off on her own. Not having family around the petite girl was spending time sort of on her own. No one really invited her either, but it didn't bother her much. Well that's what she told herself to keep herself in a good mood for the holiday. Putting herself out of her trans she heard a familiar sound was playing in the air. Smiling to herself knowing what the source of the beautiful music Alissa walked over there. Her eyes were closed to focus more on the notes as she took each step. She wasn't too worried about bumping into people due to the fact that practically everyone was at their homes enjoying each other's company. Noticing that the sounds were seemed to be louder to her meant that she was close by. To make sure that she was right Alissa opened her eyes to see that she was a few steps away from an open violin case and the violin musician. Not wanting to disturb him the girl spoke when it sounded like the song was ending. Giving her usual cute smile at the tilt of the head she spoke. "Good evening Keisuke. I loved your playing. Beautiful as always."

Currently with [ No one in particular. ] Only thinking [ "This is lovely~" ] My mood? [ Content ] As per usual, while Keisuke played the violin he was absorbed in it completely. As the music progressed, he saw nothing nor heard anything but each note that he strung with his bow across the bow of the violin, concentrating on what he heard, each tone and level of each note played. It was an art, stringing together something as beautiful as this, and although he didn’t like to brag about it, Keisuke was very good at this art form. Only as the song was ending did the violinist come to his senses and start to notice his surroundings again, and waiting for him to finish was a rather familiar head of brown hair. He couldn’t help but smile softly at the baker that stood before him. ”Thank you, Miss Anio. I don’t deserve your praise, but I appreciate it.” Kei brought his violin down off his shoulder, clutching it carefully by the neck with the same hand that held his bow. It was strange. What was Alissa doing out and about on her own? Shouldn’t she be somewhere with friends or family? ”I’m honestly surprised to see you out so late, and without your cheerful little shadow. Are you on your way to City Hall for the banquet? Or only out for a stroll?” Perhaps... she was in a similar mood as he. That would make sense, not wanting to spend such an occasion with a crowed of people. Keisuke enjoyed crowed simply because he enjoyed entertaining them. When he was required to actually participate... that was another story.

It seemed so fascinating how he can play in such a way that he made it seem so easy. Then again others may think the same way about her as she bakes. Thinking about it the brunette wondered is she has a similar look on her face when she's in her little world of pastries. Although making music and baking are totally different yet the same. They are both an art form, has a certain beauty to it, and it brings out the happiness and smiles of people. One major difference to Alissa was that in baking at the end of the day you are always covered in flour. The girl gave out a sigh at what he said."Keisuke please just call me Alissa and I still don't understand how you feel that you don't deserve the credit." Hearing about the violinist wondering why she's out so late even without her little dog surprised him made her think about it herself before speaking. "Um I was getting bored at home so I'm taking a quick walk while there is still that little bit of light out. At banquets they serve a lot of food, but I just eat a little and I'm not that hungry enough to have such a meal. How about you?"

Currently with [ Alissa ] My mood? [ Content, Curious ] When she corrected him again on what to call her, Keisuke couldn’t help but to smile at her and nod. Sure, he would give in tonight and call her by her first name, but she was a lady, and his boss, so tomorrow she would once again be Miss Anio to him. It was just the respectful thing to do when addressing a woman, right? That’s just what a good gentleman did. ”Alright, Alissa.” as for her statement about giving credit where its due... Keisuke only shrugged. There was no reason to waste the girl’s time by explaining himself when it wouldn’t make sense anyways. The violin was something that Kei was naturally good at, so why give him credit for it? There were other people who tried twice as hard as he did who deserved much more praise. ”Bored at home?” Her next few words were surprising to him, how could Miss Anio be alone on new years eve? Kei would have to change that then. He knelt down with his violin in hand and gently laid his baby gently into the case, picking out the few coins at the bottom before snapping the lid shut. ”If you don’t mind then, Alissa. I would request to accompany you for at least a few hours? Since we both seem to be alone and not willing to risk the crowds.” he was asking for her permission in this endeavor. If she didn’t want him around, then he would go elsewhere for the night. Keisuke stood, violin case in hand, and waited for her answer.

"See it's not so bad." Alissa said. It always seemed odd to her why he kept calling the girl 'miss' while she is actually about a year younger than him. Yes she may be his boss at the bakery, but even at work it tended to throw her off. Calling her 'Miss Anio' made her feel old and for goddess sakes she's just eighteen! It's way too soon to feel old for her. After saying this she noticed how Keisuke wasn't going to answer the question. Not wanting to seem annoying Alissa just lets it go. She nods when the violinist repeats her words from just a while ago. "Yes.I am. You see I have family at a far village from here so I'm on my own this year. I only have Cinnamon, but she's sleeping right now and I don't want to wake her just to keep me occupied." Ally watches how careful Kei is when he packs away his violin. He treats it like the instrument is made out of glass that easily shatters. Apparently he was playing for a little while since in the case were a few gold coins. At his question the baker girl was surprised and didn't know how to answer. With a light blush on her cheeks she looks down, feeling embarrassed. "Ah, yes! I would very much love so." Sounding a bit too eager about it Alissa covered up and explained herself. "You see I don't like being alone at night. It can be too dark and I get worried. I don't want to go home yet though since it's New Year's Eve and it would be wasted. And with you around I'll feel a lot safer than on my own."

Currently with [ Alissa ] My mood? [ Content ] Alissa’s quick response to Keisuke’s request made him smile. The poor girl. How many holidays had she spent alone, unable to visit her family? Well, he would change that this year, and spend some quality time with her. It was best to keep company, rather than to be alone anyways, and he hadn’t wanted to be completely alone tonight either so this had worked out perfectly. ”Good. Then I will walk with you for a bit. Did you have any place you wanted to go?” Kei knew that there was a party going on at City Hall, a banquet to celebrate the coming new year, and there was probably a celebration going on at the Tavern in Monotone Springs. Neither of those places interested him much; Kei didn’t drink often and he avoided crowds when he wasn’t playing. Considering what Alissa had told him, her views were quite similar to his. ”If you wanted, I could prepare some tea for us. I’d offer more but...” he trailed off with a short laugh, his unoccupied hand reaching up to scratch nervously at his head ”You’ve seen me in the kitchen. It would be a disaster if I did anything but plug in the kettle.” Of course, As good as he was with music, Keisuke sucked at cooking anything. Alissa had tried a few times to teach him, and it had always ended horribly for the Bakery. He had resigned himself that the microwave would be his only appliance for the rest of his life, in order to save the people that lived around him from the fire he’d create if he attempted to cook. ”What would you like to do? I did hear that the fireworks are something to see in this town, would you like to attend?”

She didn't care for very large gatherings that it was optional to come to. Mainly it was because she's so short and the fact that poor Ally would just be easily pushed around even if people didn't mean too. That always happened when ever she tried to go through crowds so that's why Alissa brings her little dog Cinnamon around. Cinnamon would bark her little head off when people would get too close. Of course the owner would apologize for her dog acting in such a way, but at home she gives Cinnamon a little treat for that. Not the right thing to do, but the less that Alissa gets bumped into the easier it is to go through the day. "I'm sorry. I don't know. Do you have any idea?" Keisuke then thought of an other idea that made the girl giggle at his reacting. It is true that the violinist is not so good in the kitchen. The two of them can go on about stories on the horrible happenings at the Bakery when ever Kei would attempt at cooking. "It's fine I understand, but if you want we can make a quick trip to my home and I could bring some little cakes I have, then have tea at your home. If you want I can even bring Cinnamon if she's awake, since you two get along so well." Then he brought up the fireworks. That was a good idea as well! She hasn't really watched the fireworks since she has left home. "Yes that sounds lovely as well! But maybe we should find a place where there wouldn't be so much left over smoke though." That was the only bad thing about the pyrotechnics. The haze of smoke left over that lasts in the air for a good while.

Currently with [ Alissa ] My mood? [ Content, Curious ] Listening closely to what Alissa was saying, Keisuke finally nodded and started off in one direction down the dark street. The sun glazing the horizon was a deep green, the strangeness of the colours making it that colour, but besides that, the darkness hid most of the oddity that the Valley had to offer. ”Then we’ll do it all. How does that sound?” He glanced back towards his companion with a smile and continues ”We can stop at your house for treats and Cinnamon, then my room at the inn for tea, and finally a good viewing spot.” Of course, Kei had a spot in mind. It was a little harder to reach that most places but... it would be the best place to view the fireworks perfectly without getting too close that the smoke would bother them. It wasn’t far from the Town Square to Alissa's house, and once there, Kei waited for Alissa to get her keys to open up the shop. The only reason why he knew where Miss Anio lived was because he worked with her, and had opted to walk her home after closing sometimes. Perhaps it would be prudent to ask a question... ”Alissa... You aren’t afraid of heights, are you?” it was important, because the place he was planning on taking her was significantly high above the ground and if she were afraid... then it might not be a good place to go and he would have to reconsider.

x αℓιѕѕα αηισ ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ❤ mind keeping me company | keisuke | what's on my mind | got to get the treats and cinnamon | i'm feeling | excited | Wondering what he was looking at Alissa faced the same direction. The sun was setting and the colors mixed in such an odd yet beautiful way that only Raynebow Valley has to offer. Keisuke spoke up and she listened. "All of it? That would be so nice. Don't worry it wont take long for me to get the cakes and Cinnamon." She said feeling excited already for what they are going to do. Then he asked a very odd question that seemed so out of the blue. "Um no I am not. Why do you ask?" Ally wasn't really afraid of heights surprisingly. Just the dark which is something that one her age shouldn't be scared of. When they reached her home Alissa took out her keys from her pocket to open the door. It didn't take so long because she only had two of them, one for the Bakery and the other for her home. Not even opened a crack a little fluffy white blur came to her side. Looking down at her ankles she sees her little dog already outside. "Oh there you are. Well just stay here with Keisuke and I'll get us a few treats." As a response Cinnamon barked then sat down next to Keisuke when Alissa went inside. She waited excitedly as her stub of a tail wagged, wondering what she's going to do tonight with her owner and the nice boy who worked for her. Less than five minutes later Ally back out with a little basket at hand with a leash to clip on her dog's collar. She bent down to do so then stood right back up to speak to the violin player. "Okay, I'm ready. Please lead the way."

Currently with [ Alissa n Cinnamon ] My mood? [ Content ] ”No reason.” It was good to know that she wasn’t scared of heights, since Keisuke’s ideal firework watching spot was on the roof of the inn. Since the inn was taller than most of the buildings in Raynebow Valley, it really was the ideal place to watch an event like the new years fireworks, and best of all there weren’t any crowd and it was far enough away from the pyrotechnics that there wasn’t any smoke. Alissa opened the door a crack and out came the little nose of a puppy; Cinnamon was wide-awake now, and anxious to participate in whatever her owner had planned. One nice thing about the roof was that it was fenced; a small decorative fence around the edge, but it would save Cinnamon from taking an unfortunate tumble! The last thing Keisuke wanted was to hurt the dog. The violinist knelt down to the ground so he could easily give the puppy all the attention she needed while Alissa was inside. Cinnamon was on her back before long and Kei happily obliged her want for a belly rub. The Baker was back within a short time, and once she had Cinnamon leashed Kei lead the way towards the inn, which wasn’t that far away. Once there, he opened the door for her, ushering Alissa and her pup inside. ”It shouldn’t take me longer than it takes to boil water.” Kei’s room at the inn was on the main floor, and once he’d unlocked the door and invited his guest inside, he set to work on starting to boil the water to make the tea. He kept his room organized and neat; there was a place for everything, including his violin case. He returned the instrument to its proper shelf before returning to the small counter where the water was still waiting to boil. ”Did you have a preference of tea? Or will regular green tea be good?”

x αℓιѕѕα αηισ ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ❤ mind keeping me company | keisuke and cinnamon| what's on my mind | am i asking too much? | i'm feeling | slightly worried | "Oh. Okay then?" Alissa said wondering what her good friend had in mind. Wait, good friend? Yeah that sort of fits since they've known each other for more than a year. Also she see's him like almost everyday at work. Then again she may not know much about him, mainly other than his love of the violin and that he's not the best person to be left alone in the kitchen. Thinking about that last part now the girl was concerned about the tea they are going to have. When the baker went into the house the little dog stared at the boy fully knowing who he was. Also she knew that he would do anything to make her happy. It didn't take much, just rolling on her back to get her soft belly rubbed. Out of instinct as Cinnamon got the attention that she craved her little legs started moving as if she's trying to run. As her owner came back out with the treats for their outing she was delighted to see that her Cinnamon was so happy even though she was only gone for such a short while. "I think that's why she likes you a lot." After clipping the leash on they made the short walk to the inn. Didn't take them that long to get to Keisuke's room. Once in he explained that it shouldn't take that long so they should be able to see the fireworks at midnight. Alissa has never been to his place but her thoughts were pretty much correct so far. It was neat and it obviously seemed that he made sure that everything had a single place that it should always be there. Finding a seat on a chair Ally just unclipped Cinnamon from her leash. The little dog just inspected the room to get used to her surroundings. Not too interested she just goes to her owner and takes her proper seat in Alissa's lap. "You have a lovely room." She commented then thought about her preference in tea. Not wanting to be too picky the girl made a simple request. "Um would you happen to have Strawberry Tea?"

Currently with [ Alissa n Cinnamon ] My mood? [ Content ] The bakers comment on his room made the violinist flush a light scarlet, and he concentrated on packing some tea in a small box. Fortunately for Alissa, Kei had purchased a small starter kit when he’d moved to the Valley, a small assortment of many different kinds of teas, and seeing that the fruitier teas weren’t his favorite, they’d been sitting around unused until now. ”Thank you. My parents kept a tidy home, so I suppose it rubbed off on me.” Truth to that, tidy was an understatement. Keisuke’s parents had been borderline obsessive with their neatness and organization, so it wasn’t a surprise to see that their son kept up the clean tradition. With the tea packed away and the water finally boiled, Kei started filling a thermos for easy transportation of the water, adding a pair of cups to the box that held the teas. Once everything was packed, Kei balanced the thermos under his arm and the box holding the tea and cups in one hand, and he turned to face his guest with a content smile. ”Are you ready?” As he spoke, he made his way across the room towards the door, holding it open for Alissa and Cinnamon, and only closing it when they were out. ”Now, you shouldn’t ask questions until we make it all the way there, alright? Just trust me.” Alright, that might have sounded a little strange, but it was all for a good end! Keisuke started leading the way, only instead of leaving the inn, he led the way up a flight of stairs to the second floor, and farther still to another, smaller set of stairs that ended in a door. Kei pushed the door open, and there was the roof. It was plain and bare, but wide and high enough that the nearby buildings didn’t block the view of the sky. The violinist had stumbled upon it a while back when he’d been exploring the inn, and he enjoyed coming here to think, or get creative. ”Well? Its almost as nice as the beach, but with less of a crowd.”

"I see. I think that's the way it is for everyone though. My mother is a perfectionist and father tended to make lists for almost anything. That's why I'm so picky in the kitchen of the bakery." Hearing Keisuke pouring water she looked over to him. Actually she was expecting to have a quick sip of tea before heading off. The thermos was a good idea though. As he starting packing a few things away Ally took this as a sign that they were going to leave soon. Feeling her owner moving her legs a bit from under her Cinnamon jumps off the girl and goes to Kei, curiously wondering what he was doing carrying all those things. The baker stand up and nodded. "Yes I'm ready. But um, would you like some help? I'm sure I can fit a thermos in my basket." She said feeling a little worried that the boy is going to carry so many items. When they left the room she followed behind the violinist and was told to not ask questions. "Oh, alright?" It sounded a bit odd, but Alissa doesn't think too much about it. The girl was wondering why they were going up the stairs until they reached the roof. She was in awe seeing the view from up here. It was nice how this is such a small village and that there weren't many tall building to get in the way from seeing the sky. Looking up the stars seemed so bright. This wouldn't be a bad spot to spend the Star or Moon Gazing festivals. "It's beautiful up here!" She cheered and giggled like a little girl getting a present. "It so nice how we're up here so we could get an even better view than the beach, but far enough not to get bothered by the smoke." Even though being a baker Ally should be used to smoke, but there was a difference between cooking smoke and pyrotechnics smoke. For cooking it was more tolerable but for fireworks it's so strong and thick especially when there are many of them.
