Another day, another milestone in the time of his life. Cassius threaded his way through the carnival grounds that were almost sleeping, its many entertainers and guests having retreated to resume their daily lives outside Venezia's fete. He was no different, only there was not much for the Fox to do. Living in the same area for so many years there was not much of the carnival, if any of it, that drew his attention. He looked for his pastimes elsewhere, in the form of other Pockettu whom he may acquaint himself with and, if he was tickled enough, ask after the goings on outside of his small world.

Sorry if there's not enough 'meat' in this post. OTZ;;;

Aylin was seated beneath a shade fluttering an ever-present fan. While the season for carnivals had ended, the late-season sun, while never glaring to the bunny, would still beat down just as mercilessly as on anyone else. Nearby, under the eave of this fortune teller's tent, a wind chime lethargically announced the passing of a small breeze and nothing more. Aylin closed the fan with a snap and rearranged the robes covering pale, bare feet. (Worn sandals had been placed beneath the bunny's bench.) It was a lazy day; no need to wander, except perhaps to the sno-cone vendor, whom, with amusement, had supplied a treat similar in color to the bunny's robes: Berry. Though there was nothing at all rich or healthy about it, the sno-cone cared not and was delicious. And it brought a faint smile, unlike the customary half-amused smirk, to the bunny's lips as the fan began its flutter once more.

The heat was pleasant, the warm rays of the sun beating down on him from above. His mind grew hazy with it, lazily stringing through miscellaneous thoughts. A sudden snap made his ear closest to the sound swivel towards it and he turned to see from whence it came, not more awake than he was before. And there, sat a peculiar blue rabbit at a fortune teller's tent. Well, that was one way to surely pass the time -- or at least a bit of it. Maybe he'd even have something to think on after getting his fortune told. So, the Fox ventured over to the other, noting the snow cone in his hand. "Good afternoon." He offered, then sat down across from the rabbit. "Is now a good time or am I disturbing your.. snack?"

It was always possible to tell when an approaching set of footsteps would stop, however briefly, by this tent. Long ears were already attuned to this one, even if the rest of the body appeared just as relaxed as before. Even the smile, once genuine, now pasted into place, had not changed. The fan moved lethargically. Aylin's head tilted lightly; it was afternoon for the sun's angle as it pressed against the bunny's upturned face, and it was certainly not a miserable one. "Indeed," came an ambiguously neutral reply. "Time is neither good nor bad, it simply is. What happens within its span is relative upon those involved, simply a matter of perspective and opinion." The bunny smiled faintly and nibbled at the sno-cone. "If you want to hear your fortune, I am on break. There are other tents nearby." The fan shifted and flitted down the midway, in the direction Cassius had been wandering.
