Before Inspiration Comes Madness
Alrighty here. So, I read the end of Inheritance, and I'm disappointed in Christopher Paolini and how he handled the ending. There is absolutely no sense of closure at all, and after four books and eight years of waiting, you'd expect something substantial.
But no, I felt completely unsatisfied with the way the Inheritance Cycle ended, therefore, I'm proposing something of a sorts of a continuation. The Tsubasa thing may still go on of course, provided I somehow find a way to overcome the writers block that I've had for the past half a year. However, I'm proposing that we do some sort of continuation of the series that revolves around another Rider born in the universe. By this time, the dwarven and urgal riders will have been discovered, and maybe a few more humans and elves in the mix. We'll catalogue this Rider's journey in the style of Christopher Paolini and go along with what he did to the storyline, but then we'll go further. For example, fortunes do change, maybe Eragon will come back to Alagaesia one day, for example. Maybe Saphira will have eggs, MAYBE WE'LL FINALLY GET THE ENDING OF A LOVE STORY THAT'S BEEN HINTED AT OVER AND OVER.
Whatever works, I'm perfectly willing to try and fix it so that there finally will be a satisfying end.
